Drosophila melanogaster의 세계 14지역 계통으로부터 mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)를 추출하여, 제한 요소에 의하여 mtDNA종내 변이를 조사하였다. 그 결과, site variation(Hpall와 Haelll 및 Seal효소)과 length variation(최대550bp)이 나타났다. 또한 6종류(Ml, M2, M3, M4, M6 및 M7)의 mtDNA genotype이 검출되었으며, 종내 평균 염기 치환율은 1.88%로써 낮은 지역 분화(low divergence)를 나타내었다. 그러나 일본의 Ogasawara계통의 M5 type은 본 연구에서는 검출되지않았다. 이처럼 지역 계통간의 낮은 지역 분화는 세계14지역 계통의 D. melanogaster가 최근에 소수의 개체로부터 확산되었기 때문에 집단전체에 아직 충분한 mtDNA변이가 축적되지 않았거나 혹은 지리적 격리가 충분함에도 불구하고 지역 계통간에 빈번한 migration이 일어났기 때문에 mtDNA의 지역 분화가 방해되지않은 것으로 추측된다.

This paper addresses the problem of unsupervised speech separation based on robust non-negative matrix factorization (RNMF) with ${\beta}$-divergence, when neither speech nor noise training data is available beforehand. We propose a robust version of non-negative matrix factorization, inspired by the recently developed sparse and low-rank decomposition, in which the data matrix is decomposed into the sum of a low-rank matrix and a sparse matrix. Efficient multiplicative update rules to minimize the ${\beta}$-divergence-based cost function are derived. A convolutional extension of the proposed algorithm is also proposed, which considers the time dependency of the non-negative noise bases. Experimental speech separation results show that the proposed convolutional RNMF successfully separates the repeating time-varying spectral structures from the magnitude spectrum of the mixture, and does so without any prior training.

본 논문에서는 무선인지시스템에서 효율적으로 스펙트럼 센싱을 수행하기 위해, 확률 분포 사이의 대수 차를 측정하는 Kullback-Leiber divergence기반의 새로운 스펙트럼 센싱 기술을 제안한다. 제안된 센싱 기법은 특정 센싱 구간에서의 국부 센싱 측정값들이 잡음 분포에서 발생하였는지, 기사용자 신호에서 발생하였는지를 Kullback-Leiber divergenc를 이용하여 판단한다. 시뮬레이션 을 통해, 제안된 Kullback-Leiber divergence기반의 스펙트럼 센싱 기법이 동일 조건에서 에너지 검출 기반의 스펙트럼 센싱 기법보다 더 좋은 성능을 제공할 수 있음을 보였다. 특히, 페이딩 환경 및 기사용자 신호의 SNR값이 낮은 경우에 에너지 검출 기반의 스펙트럼센싱 기법과 비교할 때 제안된 기법의 성능이 크게 향상됨을 보였다.

목적: 각각의 굴절이상도에 따른 폭주근점(N.P.C), 근거리 수평사위, 근거리 폭주 개산여력을 알아보고자 하는 연구이다. 방법: 안과적 수술이나 질환이 없는 대학생 39명(평균 22.7세)을 대상으로 굴절이상도, 폭주근점, 근거리 수평사위, 근거리 폭주 및 개산여력을 측정하였다. 결과: 검사 결과를 경도, 중도, 고도 굴절이상에 따라 모건분류 정상 기대값과 비교하여 분류하였다. 폭주근점(NPC)은 경도, 중등도 모두 8 cm 이내로 검출된 반면 강도 굴절이상에서는 9.64 cm가 검출되었다. 경도 및 중등도 굴절이상도에서 근거리 수평사위에 의한 분류를 하였을 경우 내사위의 경우 근거리 개산여력이 가장 적었으며, 반면 폭주여력에서는 강한 외사위 그룹이 적게 검출되었다. 결론: 폭주여력은 내사위에서 크고 외사위에서 작은 반면, 개산여력은 내사위에서 적고 외사위에서 크게 나타났다.

The Scarites aterrimus (Coleoptera: Carabidae) dwells exclusively on coastal sandy dunes. Previously, we investigated the nation-wide magnitude and nature of genetic diversity of the species using mitochondrial COI gene and found moderate to low magnitude of sequence diversity, the presence of closely related haplotypes, and relatively high gene flow estimate. Based on these observations we concluded that the species had no historical barriers that bolster genetic subdivision and possible population decline. In this study, we additionally sequenced mitochondrial COII gene from 23 individuals collected from 9 Korean localities to confirm previous findings. Sequencing of 688 bp COII gene provided 5 haplotypes ranging in sequence divergence from 0.145% to 0.291% (1 ~ 2 bp), further confirming low sequence divergence of the species. Gene flow estimates and genetic diversity estimates also support the previous findings that there had been no historical barriers that bolster genetic subdivision.

This paper is to discuss the numerical conformal mapping from the unit disk onto Jordan region, which can be solved by Theodorsen equation. Wegmann's method has been known as the most efficient one for the Theodorsen equation. However, we found divergence through numerical experiments by the iterative method of Wegmann. The divergence occurs especially when some degree of difficulty is high. We analyze the cause of divergence and propose an improved method by applying a low frequency pass filter to Wegmann's method. By this proposed method we can get a stable convergence for all the problems which was unstable with the Wegmann's method.

Isozyme과 AFLP분석에 있어 종간의 유전적 차이 및 유연관계를 분석에 따른 각 유전표식의 특징 및 유용성을 파악하기 위하여 종으로 명확히 구분되는 북반구 2종(H. discus hannai와 또 rufescens)과 남반구 2종(H rubra와 H midae)을 대상으로 분석한 결과 Isozyme 및 AFLP분석은 전복류의 종간분석에 있어 유전적 차이 및 유연관계 분석에 유용한 유전표식임을 시사하였다.

등각사상은 함수론의 기본적인 문제의 하나로 물리학, 공학 등에 응용되고 있다. 예를 들어 선박이나 비행기의 모양을 고려할 때 나타나는 유체의 문제등에 유용하게 쓰이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 단위원 내부로부터 Jordan 영역 내부에로의 수치등각사상을 구하는 문제를 다루는데 이것은 비선형 적분방정식인 Theodorsen방정식을 푸는 것으로 귀착된다. Theodorsen방정식을 구하는 해법 중 Wegmann의 방법은 계산량에 있어서 가장 유효하다고 알려져 있다. 그러나 수치실험을 통하여 난이도가 높은 문제에 있어 수렴하지 않는 문제점을 발견하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 수렴하지 않는 불안정의 원인을 이론적으로 분석하고 저주파필터에 의하여 개선한 방법을 제안한다. 개선한 방법에 의한 수치 실험결과를 보고한다.

구리증기레이저 출력빔의 퍼짐각을 제어하고 원거리강도분포를 개선하기 위하여, 공진기 내에 조리개와 선속분할기를 갖는 안정공진기에 대한 실험적인 연구를 시행하였다. 기본형태로서 반공초점 방식을 채택한 안정공진기를 구성하고, 조리개 구경의 변화에 따른 (발진모드의 제어) 출력빔의 퍼짐각과 레이저출력의 의존성을 측정하였으며, 선속분할기의 광축과 이루는 각도의 변화에 따른 (공진기손실의 제어) 퍼짐각과 레이저출력의 변화를 측정하였다. 조리개 구경의 크기를 14 mm에서 2 mm로 점차적으로 줄임에 따라 퍼짐각을 3.1 mrad에서 0.25 mrad까지 연속적으로 조절할 수 있었고, 8배로 증가된 원거리출력밀도를 얻었다.

Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) analysis was done with 19 oligonucleotide primers to study genetic similarities and divergence among different types of Deoni breed of cattle viz., Balankya, Wannera and Waghya. Six random primers produced low to high numbers of polymorphic bands between pooled DNA of different Deoni types. Of the 48 RAPD markers obtained 33 were common to all Deoni types, 3 were individual specific and 12 were polymorphic for different Deoni types. The mean average percentage difference values among Deoni types showed that Balankya and Wannera had less genetic divergence when compared to Waghya.
