압전소자를 이용한 정밀 스테이지의 운동제어 (Motion Control of the Precise Stage using Piezoelectric Actuator)

  • LQG/LTR control scheme is applied to the two axes stage using piezoelectric actuator for tracking reference input and suppressing hysteresis effect in this paper. The plant is combined with an integrator to improve the tracking ability. LQG/LTR controller is designed by making desirable target filter loop remove all poles except for an integrator included in new design plant model and loop transfer recovery. Decoupler in the shape of FIR filter is added to remove the coupling effect between the two axes motion and so feedback control loop is designed independently for the each axis motion.

  • The constraint condition of the loop filter is persented for the convergence of the random jitter accumulation fo the 2-nd order PLL (phase-locked loop) circuit used in digital regenerative repeater. This condition is confirmed under the assumption that the number of repeater chain is 5, bandwidth is 100. 0KHz, the power spectral density of white Gaussian noise is 1.0x10**-6 [W/Hz]. Also, it is shown that if the condition is satisfied, the accumulated random jitter and the alignment jitter will have the saturation characteristics.

  • This paper propose a position-speed controller with an estimator which can estimate states and disturbance. The overall control system consists of two parts: the position-speed controller and an estimator. The Kalman filter applied as state-feedback controller is an optimal state estimator applied to a dynamic system that involves random perturbations and gives a linear, unbiased and minimum error variance recursive algorithm to optimally estimate the unknown state. Therefore, we consider the error problem about the servo system modeling and the measurement noise as a stochastic system and implement a optimal state observer, and enhance the estimate performance of position and speed using that. Using two-degree-of freedom(TDOF) conception, we design the command input response and the closed loop characteristics independently. The servo system is to improve the closed loop characteristics without affecting the command imput response. The characteristics of the closed loop system is improved by suppressing disturbance torque effectively with the disturbance observer using a inverse-transfer matrix. Therefore, the performance of overall position-speed controller is enhanced. Finally, the performance of the proposed controller is exemplified by some simulations and by applying the real servo system.

두 개의 단주기 광섬유 격자에서 투과 및 반사 스펙트럼의 동일 선로 스위칭이 가능한 광섬유 필터에 대한 연구 (Study on Optical Fiber Filter Allowing Inline Switching Between Transmission and Reflection Spectra in Two Short-Period Fiber Gratings)

  • By incorporating a polarization-diversity loop configuration, we have demonstrated the inline switching of transmission and reflection spectra of one of two short-period fiber gratings (SPFGs) with different resonance wavelengths without reconfiguring the filter structure. The proposed filtering apparatus consists of a fiber-pigtailed polarization beam splitter, two SPFGs, and three quarter-wave plates (QWPs). The proposed filter can independently choose the transmission or reflection spectrum of each SPFG through the appropriate adjustment of the orientation angles of the QWPs within the filter without additional optical switches and couplers. The average insertion loss, band rejection ratio, and side-mode suppression ratio of the fabricated filter were measured as ~4.59, ~17.88, and ~19.67dB, respectively.

H.264 동영상 표준 부호화 방식의 블록화 현상 제거를 위한 적응적 후처리 기법 (A Spatially Adaptive Post-processing Filter to Remove Blocking Artifacts of H.264 Video Coding Standard)

  • 본 논문에서는 H.264 동영상 표준 부호화 방식의 블록화 현상 제거 및 화질 개선을 위한 적응적 후처리 기법에 대해 제안한다. H.264의 루프 필터는 부호화기 내부에 위치함에 따라 부호화 복잡도를 증가시키곤 블록화 현상을 완벽히 제거하지 못하며, 영상을 과도하게 열화 시킨다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 부호화기의 복잡도를 낮추는 동시에 고화질의 영상을 복원하기 위해 Constraint Least Squares(CLS) 기법과 투영 기법을 결합하였다. 또한 인간의 시각 시스템을 반영하기 위해 가중치 norm CLS 기법을 사용하였으며, 이를 위해 블록 경계와 블록 내부에 위치한 화소들의 위치에 따라 각기 다른 국부 분산과 라플라시안 연산자를 새롭게 정의하였다. 국부 화소들은 높은 상관관계를 갖는다는 특성을 이용하여 투영 기법을 위한 투영 집합을 정의하였다. 끝으로 0.264의 양자화 인덱스(QP)를 완화도 조절을 위해 공통적으로 사용하였다. 실험 결과를 통해 제안된 후처리 기법이 H.264의 루프 필터보다 블록화 현상을 효과적으로 제거하는 동시에 CLS 기법보다 빠르게 수렴함을 확인할 수 있었다.

H.26L 동영상 부호화 방식의 화질 개선을 위한 루프 필터 (An Efficient Loop Filter to Improve Visual Quality of H.26L Video Coder)

  • 본 논문에서는 H.26L 동영상 부호화 표준 방식의 블록화 현상 및 링 현상을 효과적으로 제거하여 화질 개선된 영상을 얻기 위한 루프 필터 방식에 대한 제안한다. 기존 동영상 부호화 방식과 다른 형태의 움직임 보상 및 변환 방식을 기반으로 하는 H.26L 동영상 압축 방식의 블록화 현상 및 링 현상의 정도는 부호화 형태, 양자화 크기 및 움직임 정토에 의해 다르게 표현되므로 제안 방식에 서는 상기 정보에 따라 필터 형태 및 필터 계수가 다르게 설정되도록 하였으며, 필터 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 과잉 열화 현상을 줄이기 위한 제약 조건을 투영 연산 과정을 통해 정의하였다. 상기 부가 정보는 부호화부 및 복호화부 과정에서 이용 가능하므로 루프 필터 형태로 이용했으며, 부호화부 및 복호화부의 계산량을 절감하기 위해 알고리즘을 단순화 시켰다. 제안된 방식의 성능을 실험을 통해 확인할 수 있었다.

구조적 분석에 기초한 외란관측기의 설계 (Design of Disturbance Observer Based on Structural Analysis)

  • Disturbance observer (DOB) has been studied extensively and applied to many motion control fields during the last decades, but relatively few studies have been devoted to the development of analytic, systematic design methods for DOB itself, This paper thus aims to provide an analytic, systematic design method for DOB. To do this, DOB is structurally analyzed and the generalized disturbance compensation framework named robust internal-loop compensator (RIC) is introduced. Through this, the inherent equivalence between DOB and RIC is found, and the mixed sensitivity optimization problem of DOB is solved. Q-filter design is completely separated from the mixed sensitivity optimization problems of DOB although the proposed method has implicit .elation with Q-filter. Also, although the Q-fille. is separately designed with sensitivity function, the proposed DOB framework has the exactly same characteristic as the original DOB.

  • In this article, new microstrip slow-wave bandpass filters using open loop resonator loaded with inter-digital capacitive fingers is proposed. The filter features not only compact in size, but also exhibits spurious stop-band rejection. Filters of this type with elliptic function and Chebyshev response are demonstrated. There is good agreement between experimental and full-wave electromagnetic (EM) simulation results.

Design of Balanced Dual-Band Bandpass Filter with Self-Feedback Structure

  • A balanced dual-band bandpass filter based on ${\lambda}$/2 stepped-impedance resonators and open-loop resonators is proposed in this letter. By employing a type of self-feedback structure, an extra transmission zero is introduced near the common-mode resonance frequency, and the common-mode signal is suppressed. The measured results indicate that the filter can operate in 2.46 GHz and 5.6 GHz bands, and the insertion loss is 1.85 dB and 1.9 dB, respectively. Also, better common-mode suppression is achieved.

고속 온-오프 전자 밸브를 사용한 유압 실린더의 압력 제어 (Pressure Control of Hydraulic Cylinder using high Speed On-Off Solenoid Valve)

  • In this study a new pattern of pressure control of hydraulic cylinder using high speed On-Off solenoid valve in the electro-hydraulic system has been suggested. The control valve is 3-way high speed On-Off solenoid valve which is operated by PWM(Pulse Width Modulation)control signal. The high speed On-Off solenoid valve has a tendency to induce severe pressure fluctuation in the hydraulic actuator so it has not been used for the purpose of closed loop control with direct pres-sure feedback. In this study closed loop control with direct pressure feedback is enabled by using a digital filter which has linear minimum mean square filter algorithm. Through some experiments it is confirmed that stable pressure control can be realized by the proposed control technique.
