Recently, fires in logistics warehouses in Korea are continuously increasing. In addition, the need for fire safety in logistics warehouses is emerging. So, it is believed that it is necessary to establish standards for vent facilities under effective smoke control for the evacuation safety of residents in logistics warehouses. Therefore, this paper compares the standards related to combustion facilities in Korea, the United States, and Japan, and applies the design method to logistics warehouses of domestic materials to predict smoke drop time and use it as a basic data for improving domestic smoke facilities standards.

This paper presents system of physical distribution module, and classification of logistics equipments. This study also introduces equipment standards of logistics facilities, and environmental rules for distribution center. Moreover, this paper shows safety standard and marking for logistics equipments and tools.

In this paper, we propose a reference model for logistics processes to improve the effect of RosettaNet standards application to domestic industry. First of all, implementation cases applied to logistics processes in the world are investigated. Second, logistics processes of domestic manufacturers are analyzed for the application of RosettaNet standards, and the processes are compared with PIP. Finally, a new logistics processes model and corresponding PIP documents which reflect domestic situations are proposed.

This paper deals with the Performance Based Logistics(PBL) application scheme pertaining to optimal maintenance program for logistics of Korean Fighter Experimental(KF-X) Project. For enhancement of the performance based logistics system application to KF-X program the selection of appropriate standards fit to maximize cost-cutting, a set of performance metrics fit for the purpose of the contract, foreign technology dependence of core equipments and parts were considered. Thus, selecting appropriate standards fit for Korean logistics environment, domestic maintenance enterprise for stable rate of operation of KF-X, a systematic reliability task that is able to measure quantitative combat capability are suggested.

In this study, the author introduces a supply-chain management (SCM) solution that connects suppliers, manufacturers, customers, and other companies within a transactional relationship to enable efficient inventory management and timely product supply, which ultimately maximizes corporate profits. This proposed solution exploits Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), which provide solutions to complex management issues generated by the broader market. The goal of the current study was to develop an advanced and intelligent smart SCM solution that complies with logistics standards, to enhance the visibility, safety, and efficiency of a supply chain made up of manufacturers and suppliers. This smart SCM solution aims at maximizing corporate profits through efficient inventory management and timely supply of products, and solves the complex management problems caused by operating within a wide range of markets.

본 연구는 국내 물류센터에서 다양한 물류활동이 수행되기 위해 필요한 인프라 요인들을 기반시설, 물류설비, 물류장비, 운영시스템으로 분류하고 정의하였다. 물류활동에 직 간접적으로 영향을 주고 있는 물류센터의 인프라 요인을 체계적으로 분석하여 제시함으로써, 물류센터 내의 물류활동에 대하여 명확하게 파악하고 인식할 수 있는 토대를 제공한 것이다. 또한 물류센터와 관련된 한국산업규격(KS)의 인지도와 사용률이 매우 낮은 문제점을 개선하기 위해, 국토해양부 교통체계효율화사업(보관시설 표준정합시스템 개발연구)의 일환으로 수행된 국내 321개 보관시설 조사와 분야별 전문가 자문회의 결과를 이용해 한국산업규격(KS) 개선방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 물류활동과 인프라 요인(기반시설, 물류설비, 물류장비, 운영시스템)을 고려한 한국산업규격(KS) 개선방향을 제시함으로써 국내 물류센터의 설계 및 운영의 효율성을 도모할 수 있는 기틀을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

EPC(Electronic Product Code) 기반의 물류정보 네트워크인 EPCglobal 네트워크는 다수 기업이 유기적으로 결합하여 이루어지는 개방형으로 발전하고 있다. EPC-global 네트워크에서는 물류정보가 분산되어 있고, 그 양이 방대하기 때문에 효과적으로 정보를 관리하기 위한 노력이 요구된다. EPCglobal에서는 세계적인 연구소 및 업체들이 모여 RFID/EPC 기반 물류 네트워크에서의 EPC Information Service(EPCIS), Object Naming Service(ONS) 등의 구조에 대한 표준을 정의하고 관련 표준에 대한 연구를 계속하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 EPCIS와 EPC Discovery Service(EPCDS)에 대해 표준에서 요구하는 기능과 역할을 충족시키고, 나아가 더욱 효율적인 물류정보 관리를 위해 확장된 기능의 EPCIS와 EPCDS를 제안한다.

In this study, we suggest a standardization of the logistics terminologies in Korean Standard to improve its consistency. To support this work, some principles for terminology selection and corrections are studied based on the guideline in international standard. The revised terminologies are summarized in Appendix for 20 logistics-related Korean Standards.

Although there has been growing interests in outsourcing the logistics sectors in the industry, not much research was undertaken to provide the processes and standards in choosing the right 3PL for the company. In this research, we attempt to provide the 3PL selection criteria and its priority orders. We surveyed and interviewed the various industry experts and analyzed results using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). The study reveals that manufactures and logistics companies have different understanding of the selection criteria and priorities in outsourcing the 3PL.
