The demand of international intermodal transportation is continuously increasing in accordance with a changing environment on international logistics, Under this circumstance, the Sea&Air intermodal transportation, combined by sea-based and air-based transport, has a potential growth in the future. After analyzing routes for Origin/Destination and implementing portfolio analysis, finally, this research aims to propose alternatives to create additional customers(or cargoes) for the Sea&Air transport. As a result of the analyses, China appeared to be a major customer of the Sea&Air transport in Korea because some of the Chinese areas - i.e. Qingdao, Shanghai, Weihai and Yantai - account for 88.1% of the total throughput. In general, this indicates that it would be more efficient to establish specific strategies targeting those major areas. Excluding the four areas, most of the other area, have much less demands and are relatively unstable. The demands, growth rates and market shares especially in Vladivostok, Dandong and Tianjinxingang are on the decrease, and therefore, stable strategies seems to be appropriate than aggressive strategies for these areas.

Due to the phenomenal growth in mobile internet users, mobile business as a type of applications of mobile internet has attracted the related industries' and academic researchers' attentions. However, most researchers focus on the issues of Mobile B2C collecting survey questions from consumers or internet users. This paper points out that Mobile B2B has distinct service sector and analyzes the current trend and demand of Mobile B2B in Korea by collecting survey questionnaire from specialists in mobile industries and people in universities and research institutes. Survey fields include business, market, contents/application, research and development and legal system. According to the survey results, Mobile B2B business will rise in distribution, finance, sales, and logistics industries from the beginning of 2005 using wireless PDA and the important preconditions will be security, certification, and standardization.

Railway is paid attention as a means of environment-friendly transportation and logistics. Efforts to enhance the competitiveness by IT convergence, for railway vehicle market share of the world, has been promoted. This study proposes a technology development plan of railway IT convergence. We analyzed the results of legacy researches and technology patents related with railway IT convergence and derived the target tasks in accordance with our technologies classification. By adopting the multi-attributes utility theory methodology and using survey of experts, we selected the core research issues. The result of this study could help policy making and R&D planning about railway IT convergence.

Inland transportation system has been improving inefficiencies and structural problems due to excess of supply. Therefore, inland transportation market needs to reform its regional logistics structure in order to increase its competitiveness. To improve the solution, the research studied efficiencies and productivity of inland transportation systems in regions. In order to obtain specific facts, each cities' five years of (2005-2009) balanced panel data on inland transportation system has been studied. According to CCR and BCC analysis, Ul-San has been evaluated as the most efficient DMU during 2005-2008. In addition, in 2009, Seoul was the most efficient DMU. Also, according to Window analysis, Gwan-Ju and Gwangwon-do scored 0.062. Therefore, they were estimated as stable DMUs. According to Malmquist productivity analysis, average productivity indexes of four terms of Chungcheongnam-do and Chungcheongbuk-do haves been increased to 6.6% and 7.3%. I hope this study contributes to the improvement of regional inland transportation system.

Recently, with the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the diversified industrial base and stable employment market have led to increased concern on the metropolis centered manufacturing. However, To enhance the added value and competitiveness of the manufacturing industry in Seoul, it is necessary to develop specialized smart-based technology and production, and to establish a collaborative system among various businesses in the areas of planning, production, and logistics. Accordingly, I planned a service that is necessary for activation of the urban manufacturing industry in Dongdaemun area of Seoul to enable designers to construct an infrastructure for direct production. The proposed content is a hands-on application that provides information to producers who want to make their own unique products with which they can buy materials from Dongdaemun, Cheonggyecheon, and Uljiro areas.

In the past 20 years, passenger and cargo transportation performance at the international passenger ports in Korea have increased by 8.6% on the compound annual growth rate, respectively. The Korean government had expected to continue expanding the market of car ferries and the government included plans for the development of additional routes and lanes with neighboring countries such as China, J apan, and Russia as a part of the Plan of the Korean Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries in 2019. However, compared to the development of routes, the management and operation of passenger terminals are inefficient. The purpose of this paper was to introduce the overall improvement of the passenger terminal operating system that reflects the recent changes in the supply and demand of international passenger vessels and the needs of the government and private sector passengers. To this end, a basic survey was conducted on the status of operations and facilities at the Busan International P assenger Terminal and a questionnaire survey was administered on the subject of use. The results of the survey were analyzed using the IPA model. As a result of the analysis, three items in the operation sector, three items in the facility sector, and four items in the system sector of the Busan International Passenger Terminal were identified as in need of improvement. Based on the results, the need for investment to improve the international passenger terminal operating system is suggested.

Family tourism has become the mainstream demand of the tourism market, and it is also an effective way to obtain happiness. This paper takes family tourists as the research object, takes the family tourism family affection interaction behavior and the experience value relationship as the link, Empirically tests the family tourism "interaction behavior-social support-experience value" conceptual model and the relationship hypothesis. The results showed that interaction of family affection had a positive and significant effect on the functional, cognitive and emotional experience value of family tourists. Family interaction in family tourism has a significant positive impact on social support. Social support has significant positive effects on functional, cognitive, emotional and overall experiential values. This conclusion expands the theoretical and empirical research on the relationship between interaction behavior and experience value, and provides a basis for understanding the interaction behavior and experience value of family love from the perspective of tourism experience essence.

The time cost of ship end cargoes is one of the most important data for decision-making of port investment and operational efficiency. Studies in this area were initiated internationally by Goss and Mann in late 70's and also done in Korea 10 years ago using the same methodology as Goss. The main purpose of this paper is to revisit to estimate the time cost using updated data. The estimation was undertaken sampling data on various investment and operating costs by vessel from 205 vessels, comprising 47.5％ of the notional fleet in Korea as well as on cargoes from international trade statistics. Compared with the study of 10 years ago, major finding of this research is that time costs of liquid and dry bulk carriers have increased, in case of the former type, showing almost doubled cost increase. The increase is deemed to be caused by very expensive LNG carriers. Lowered social discount rate in this study compared with 10 years ago, in general, has mused the costs to stay at similar level to the previous study. Sensitivity tests were conducted using various social discount rates.

The number of calling ports has been decreased and the degree of inter- and intra-port competition has been increased, which is caused by the market trends that shipping liners have and operate their own terminals, strategic M & A frequency occurs among shipping liners, and container vessel size is increasing. The trends also cause shipping liners to change the evaluation factors for decision to call a particular port such as port preference, potential for growth, port competitiveness, etc. Since the decision of liners greatly influences the policies for port and terminal development, it is worth having interest in the evaluation factors. Therefore, this work intended to evaluate 8 major ports (Port of Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Busan, Rotterdam, Kaoshing, and Tokyo) with regard to liners' evaluation factors (calling port preference, potential for growth and port competitiveness) and to classify ports by similarity of evaluation factors with the methodologies of ANOVA analysis and Duncan test. The result shows implication for liners' viewpoint to evaluate major ports in the world.

Due to structural problems in the transportation market, such as fraudulent competition and multi-level transportation transactions, tariff are not properly refIected to the final trucker even if freight tariff are increased due to diesel price hikes and transportation cost increases. By Launched "standard tariff system" in 2017 based on the trucks, government would tried to guarantee the minimum tariff such that prevents overloading, speeding, and strain for trucker. However, It is necessary to analyze in advance the issue of the system and its impact on container freight. Thus, this study analyzes the issues and countermeasures related to the tariff system that is formed when the "Truck Safety Rates" is introduced, and also analyzes the influence factors of the expenditure cost on the container freight which is applied to the "Truck Safety Rates".
