철도물류활성화를 위한 DMT 수송시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on DMT Transport System for Rail Logistics)

  • These days, environment has became more and more important global issues including Climate Change Convention which 40 developed countries have to decrease CO2 emission by 5.2% compared with 1990 emission. Rail transport in Korea are becoming more important as a solution for environment and energy owing to high energy consumption country. Rail transport is environment-friendly mode compared with truck mode (energy consumption 14.2 times, CO2 emission 13.4 times), but it has door-to-door problem and "DMT transport system for rail logistics" can be a solution for this problem and this system can lead to environment-friendly transport mode by rail. This study will review the background of worldwide and Korean DMT system, customers' needs, and analyze transport cost with other transport mode. Through theses kinds of review and analysis, this study will propose DMT terminal, DMT rolling stock, and DMT operation system.

  • Logistics security has been enhanced to control cargo containers effectively and safely in global logistics. In response to the change, This study describes the system now being developed that tracks container position, watches cargo security status and gets informations of surrounding until the cargos arrived at its destination. We examine completion and satisfaction of the product for prospective users. For this, considering earlier studies about customer trust, satisfaction, service quality and purchase decision, we analyse an effect among the variables empirically. As a result, when the program is released, we examine customers' satisfaction and purchase decision for the informations to be offered from the program.

Anomaly Detection Method for Drone Navigation System Based on Deep Neural Network

  • This paper proposes a method for detecting flight anomalies of drones through the difference between the command of flight controller (FC) and the navigation solution. If the drones make a flight normally, control errors generated by the difference between the desired control command of FC and the navigation solution should converge to zero. However, there is a risk of sudden change or divergence of control errors when the FC control feedback loop preset for the normal flight encounters interferences such as strong winds or navigation sensor abnormalities. In this paper, we propose the method with a deep neural network model that predicts the control error in the normal flight so that the abnormal flight state can be detected. The performance of proposed method was evaluated using the real-world flight data. The results showed that the method effectively detects anomalies in various situation.

  • Two types of responses to climate change exist. First is climate mitigation which includes efforts of reducing CO2 and GHG emissions. Second response is climate adaptation process which is establishing climate resilience in the supply chain. The two are inherently different since mitigation strategy focus on eliminating the source of climate change and is long term in nature but adaptation strategy is moderating the impact of potential or current climate change. In order to embed climate resilience in the supply chain, mitigation strategies and adaption strategies must be implemented simultaneously. Corporation's adaptation to climate change related natural disaster can be seen as a response that includes mitigation and adaptation strategies simultaneously. A comprehensive climate change resilience supply chain approach has to be developed. This paper illustrated guidelines and adaptation process framework businesses can utilize in order to build climate resilience. Screening process before the actual assessment of risk was introduced as well as the whole adaptation process of establishing information system and strengthening climate-related operational flexibility.

  • The opsin family of light sensitive proteins family makes up are the universal photoreceptor molecules of all visual systems in the vertebrates including teleosts. They can change their conformation from a resting state to a signaling state upon light absorption, which activates the G-protein coupled receptor, thereby resulting in a signaling cascade that produces physiological responses. However, this species is poorly characterized at molecular level due to little sequence information available in public databases. We have investigated the opsin family of nocturnal cutlass fish using the whole transcriptome sequencing method. The opsin genes were cloned and its expression in the tissues and organs were examined by qPCR. We cloned 6 opsin genes (RRH, Opn4, Rh1, Rh2, VA-opsin, and Opn3) in retina and brain tissue. It contained the seven presumed transmembrane domains that are characteristic of the G-protein-coupled receptor family. However, short wavelength sensitive pigment (SWS) and long wavelength sensitive pigment (LWS) were not detected in this study. The mRNA expression of the 6 photoreceptor genes were detected in retina and peripheral tissue. Our studies will lead to further investigation of the photic entrainment mechanism at molecular and cellular levels in cutlass fish and can be used in comparative studies of other fishes.

  • 전국의 학교 급식 및 군 급식 등 대규모 농축수산물의 물류가 이루어지고 있으나, 안심 농축수산물에 대한 물류정보가 거짓표시 되어 안전한 식품공급에 사회적인 이슈가 되고 있다. 외국산 저 품질 축산물을 국내산 고품질 축산물로 둔갑시키고, 일반 농산물을 친환경 농산물로 속이고, 오염된 채소류를 신선한 채소류로 속여서 학교 및 집단급식소에 식자재로 납품하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 부정 농축수산물의 물류정보에 대한 보안 방법과 부정 농축수산물 피해로 인한 법적인 책임소재 증거자료로 e-Discovery시스템을 적용하여, 책임 소재와 피해 보상에 대한 연구가 필요하다.

  • 1997년 일본 교토에서 180여개국이 교토의정서에 서명을 하였다. 1990년 기준 2008년까지 전체 배기가스를 5% 감축하자는 것이 주요 내용이다. 이를 위해서는 선박이나 철도와 같은 친환경적인 운송수단이 필요하다. 도로를 이용한 물류수단은 높은 물류비용, 공기오염, 그린가스, 사고 등이 점차 증가하고 있는 시점에서 새로운 운송수단 즉, 빠르고, 정확하고, 안전하고, 친환경적인 운송수단은 필연적일 것이다. 한국은 철도 수송은 가장 인기있는 수송수단가운데 하나이다. 물류환경이 변화하는 시점에서 가장 중요한 효율을 도출할 수 있으며, 비용도 감축할 수 있다. 이러한 친환경적 물류방법을 도입하기 위해서는 기존의 물류정책, 즉 정부의 지원, 물류인력의 양성, 경쟁력 제고 등의 방법과 SCM을 통합할 수 있는 새로운 기업 시스템 즉, M-SCM(Intermodal Shift SCM)이 필요한 것이다. 본 연구는 이러한 M-SCM을 도입하기 위해 그 문제점과 대응방안을 제시하고 있다.

Comparing Energy Consumption following Flight Pattern for Quadrotor

  • Currently, many companies have succeeded in logistics delivery experiments utilizing drone and report it. When a drone is used commercially, long-term flight is an important performance that a drone should have. However, unlike vehicles operated on the ground, drone is a vehicle that continues to consume energy when maintaining the current altitude or moving to the destination. Therefore, the drones can fly for a long time as the capacity of the battery is large, but the batteries with large capacity are restricted by heavy weight and it acts as a limiting factor in a commercial use. To address this issue, we attempt to compare how far we can fly than forward flight based on the flight pattern with the same energy consumption condition. In this paper, the comparison of energy consumption was performed in three flight pattern, forward flight without altitude change and forward flight with altitude change, by computer simulation and it shows the increasing of flight distances when the quadrotor fly with altitude change from high altitude to low altitude.

국제민간항공분야의 기후변화 대응 전략 연구 (Strategies for International Aviation to Respond to Climate Change)

  • The growth rate of international aviation is expected to be higher than that of most industries and the proportion of carbon emissions from the aviation industry will become very significant as the year 2050 approaches. Constraining the growth of this industry is not desirable because it is essential for human welfare as well as the development of related industries. However, reduction of carbon due to aviation is not easy because it is difficult to improve fuel efficiency in a significant way. The ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), which is the main organization responsible for handling this problem, developed a program named CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation). The present study analyzes various strategies for countries and airlines to comply with CORSIA using a fuel-efficient system. We conclude that countries should improve their airspace utilization systems, airport facilities, and air navigation systems. Additionally, based on the results of a flight data analysis, airlines should improve their operational efficiency in terms of operations control, flight operation, and maintenance management.

군집주행 환경에서 비자율차의 차로변경행태 분석 (Lane Change Behavior of Manual Vehicles in Automated Vehicle Platooning Environments)

  • 자율주행기술이 교통류에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해서는 자율차와 비자율차 간의 상호작용을 분석하는 것이 중요한 이슈이다. 특히 자율주행기술을 활용한 유용한 서비스 중의 하나인 군집주행은 주변의 비자율 차량의 주행행태에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 군집주행 환경에서 비자율차의 차로변경행태 분석하는 것이며, 3단계의 실험 및 조사를 수행하였다. 1단계 영상기반 인지특성 분석을 통해 군집주행 환경에서 어떠한 반응행태를 보일 것인지를 조사하였으며, 2단계 주행시뮬레이션 실험을 통해 비자율차의 차로변경행태를 분석하였다. 차로변경행태를 분석하기 위해 차로변경시간과 교통류의 안전성을 나타낼 수 있는 지표인 가속소음을 이용하였으며, 자율차의 시스템 보급률(Market Penetration Rate, MPR)과 피실험자 인적요소에 따른 비자율차의 주행행태 차이를 비교 분석하였다. 마지막 단계인 NASA-TLX(NASA Task Load Index)를 통해 비자율차 운전자의 작업부하를 평가하였다. 분석결과 군집차량군 주변의 비자율차 운전자는 심리적인 부담감을 느끼며, MPR이 증가할수록 차로변경시간이 길어지고 30-40대 운전자 또는 여성 운전자의 경우 안전성이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 도출된 결과는 자율차와 비자율차의 상호작용을 반영한 보다 현실성 높은 교통시뮬레이션 실험 시 기초자료로 활용될 수 있고, 이를 기반으로 자율협력주행 환경에서 적용 가능한 교통운영관리전략 수립을 효과적으로 지원할 것으로 기대된다.
