Mobile business, noticed as a constructive alternative for e-commerce and e-business, has been diversely defined and conceptualized. This study develops a comprehensive framework for the sake of clearing such a havoc of conceptual deluge. The framework for the comprehensive understanding of e-business (including m-business) consists of two dimensions： connectivity and mobility. These two dimensions represent to overcome the constraints of time and place in business transactions, respectively. Various cases for each combination of these two components are explained for clear understanding of this framework. By this framework, we can understand the value that Location-Based Service (LBS) brings anew to e-business services.

본 논문에서는 이동통신망을 이용한 WiFi 위치 측위기술 및 서비스에 대해 소개해 보고자 한다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 이동통신망을 이용한 WPS(WiFi Positioning System)의 기본적인 기술요소 및 품질요소 등을 살펴보고자 한다. 위 이동통신 기반의 위치서비스를 제공할 때 단말의 위치 결정 기술을 통하여 사용자 또는 가입자에게 편리성을 제공해 줄 뿐만 아니라 위치기반서비스 산업활동에 대하여 많은 기여를 할 것으로 본다.

최근 PDA, 휴대폰, GPS와 같은 모바일 기기 및 무선 통신 기술의 발달로 인하여 위치 기반 서비스의 이용이 확산되었다. 하지만 이러한 서비스는 사용자의 정확한 위치정보를 가지고 LBS 서버에 연속적으로 서비스를 요청하기 때문에, 심각한 개인 정보 누출의 위협이 될 수 있다. 따라서 모바일 사용자의 안전하고 편리한 위치기반 서비스 사용을 위한 개인 정보 보호 방법이 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 연속적인 위치기반 서비스를 지원하는 그리드 기반 Cloaking 영역 설정 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 연속적인 위치기반 서비스를 효율적으로 지원하기 위하여 그리드 기반의 셀 확장을 통해 빠르게 Cloaking 영역을 설정한다. 아울러, 모바일 사용자의 위치 노출 확률을 최소로 하는 Cloaking 영역 설정을 위하여, 가중치를 부여하여 프라이버시 보호 수준을 계산한다. 마지막으로 성능평가를 통해서 제안하는 기법이 서비스 시간, 프라이버시 보호 수준에서 기존 연구보다 우수함을 보인다.

The demand for LBS (Location Based Services) is increasing in the development of communication and mobile technologies. Positioning technology is a core technology for LBS, because LBS is based on a position of each device or user. But positioning technology especially for indoor environments is getting a lot of attention. Indoor positioning errors usually occur seriously in indoor environments where APs (Access Points) are set in a very concentrated and complex arrangement. In order to reduce indoor positioning errors, we adopt DOP (Dilution of Precision) which reflects an APs configuration information. In this paper, we propose an enhanced indoor positioning method using IEEE 802.11 RSSI measurements and AP configuration information.

GPS 기반의 위치관제 시스템은 현재 교통, 물류관제, 보험, 보안 등 다양한 분야에서 활용되고 있다. 재난 재해관리를 방재 분야에서도 다양한 형태의 위기 상황에 대응하기 위해 재난 재해 종류 및 규모별로 다양한 정보자원을 이용해야 하고 인적 물적 자원을 활용하여 빠르게 대응해야 한다. 특히 산불, 산사태, 태풍, 홍수해 등의 광역의 자연재해뿐만 아니라 주요시설물 및 문화재 등의 인위적 재난 방재 분야에서도 중앙정부 차원의 U-ICT기술을 이용한 실시간 통합 예방 대응관리 시스템이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 스마트 폰 및 GPS-CDMA단말기를 이용한 산불을 사례로 한 '자연재해관제시스템' 개발과 함께 문화재를 대상으로 한 'LBS기반 문화재위험관리시스템'에 대한 구현 방법에 대하여 제안하며 기존의 인적 자원과 물적 자원의 총괄적인 관리와 차세대 문화재 위험관리 시스템 구축 방향을 제시하였다.

인터넷을 기반으로 하는 정보방송 서비스가 널리 확대되고 있으나, 인터넷 프로토콜 고유의 한계로 인해 사용상에 제한이 있다. 본 논문에서는 기지국에 IP 주소변환 기능을 도입한 억세스망에서의 인터넷방송 기술과 이를 이용한 위치기반서비스가 제안되었다. 수신기에 IP 주소가 할당되지 않아도 되며, 사전에 서버의 주소를 몰라도 정보를 수신할 수 있으며, 서버의 부하나 통신망 트래픽이 대폭 감소되는 장점이 있다.

인터넷을 기반망으로 하는 무선 종단망에서 방송용 또는 멀티캐스팅용 IP 주소를 이용한 기존의 무선 인터넷 지역방송 기술의 단점이 본 논문에서 보완되었다. 즉, 수신기가 방송을 요청하는 방법과 멀티캐스팅과 브로드캐스팅 방식을 결합시키거나, 수신기와 기지국의 하위 계층에서 방송 데이터 필터링을 수행하여, 통신망과 방송 서버, 기지국, 수신기의 부하가 대폭 감소되었다. 본 논문에서 제안된 기술은 일반적인 방송 서비스뿐만 아니라 LBS(Location Based Service)나 Telematics 서비스에 최적이다.

This paper proposes and implements a mobile service and web service integration for utilizing public bicycle sharing system NUBIJA. The NUBIJA system is operated by Changwon City, GyeongNam since 2008 and maintains 247 unattended bicycle sharing terminal on the city. Average users per day of the NUBIJA are more than 8,000 and many users want to get more services from their mobile phones. We implemented realtime mobile bicycle rental and return information service. The informations are acquired from each terminal kiosks and we integrated the information and location based services(LBS) on iOS and Android platform. In this paper, we described an integration services between web and mobile application and shows graphical user interface for highly customized on mobile platforms.

Due to an increase in the number of large-scale and high rise buildings, the importance of indoor location information has been highlighted. As a result, seamless three-dimensional space information, linked to various indoor and outdoor services is required. The purpose of this study is to develop a system which can edit and operate indoor space information using the IndoorGML(Geography Markup Language). It provides functions such as converting and editing authoring indoor space using the IndoorGML. Based on defined schema which is the IndoorGML international standardization work, we develop the "Editor" and "Viewer" for the IndoorGML. When indoor space is modeled in an authoring tool, a variety of topologies can be created automatically. These are available to be edited and modified. Moreover, the file of model can be saved as IndoorGML, SBM and KML file. These files are viewed by the "Viewer". Indoor LBS(Location Based Service)is served with these principles.

최근 정보기술 발전과 컴퓨터의 고성능화에 따라 인터넷과 지리정보 시스템(GIS: Geographic Information System)을 연동하여 많은 웹사이트에서 지도정보 및 POI(Point of Interest)서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이러한 Web GIS는 시스템 구축이나 서비스 제공방법, 지도표현 형식에 있어 특정 시스템이나 환경에 의존적이며 제약이 많이 있다. 또한 무선인터넷의 급속한 발전으로 이동 환경에서 현재 위치정보를 적용한 실시간 서비스를 제공받기 원하는 사용자가 급증하고 있는 시점에서 이러한 서비스는 PDA와 같은 이동클라이언트에 LBS(Location Based Service)로 제공될 수 있어야한다. 본 논문에서는 국립지리원의 표준 지도형식인 DXF 수치지도를 이용하여 모바일 웹 서비스가 가능한 GIS를 구축하였다. 그리고 이를 OGC(OpenGIS Consortium)에서 권고한 벡터 방식의 SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) 포맷의 지도로 표현하고, XML 웹 서비스를 이용한 개방형 서비스로 제공하였다. 또한 이동클라이언트인 PDA에 GPS수신기를 확장하여 이동환경에서 위치정보를 획득하여 모바일을 위한 실시간 위치기반 웹지도 서비스를 설계하고 서버기반 G15 컴퓨팅 환경을 실용적으로 구현하였다.
