This study identifies the damage detection of truss structures by using genetic algorithm(GA) from changed elements properties. To model the damaged truss structures, the modulus of elasticity of some specific elements is reduced. The analysis of truss structures is performed with static analysis by applying uniform load, and the location and extent of structural damage is detected by comparing the stain of each element of healthy truss structures with damaged truss structures using genetic algorithm. In this study, some numerical examples are presented to detect the location and extent of damage using genetic algorithm.
Non-destruction examinations are required in medical sciences and various engineering now. We wish to emulate the examinations in very simplified experiments. It is an educational program. We show a neural network analysis to predict the locations of a sound-source or a body irradiated by sound-waves in audio-region. The sound is an interest flux, and it enables to clear local-structures in a non-transparent space. However, the sound-propagation equations are not solved easily, therefore, we consider to adopt multi-layer neural-networks instead of the direct solutions. We used detected intensities and coordinates for input data and teaching data. A neural network learned them. The neural-network analysis decomposed the distance of 50cm. The resolution is rather rough; however, it is caused by the limitation of our equipments. Since there is no problem in the neural network processing, if we could revise experiments, then, progress of the resolution would be got. Thus, the proposed method functioned as an educational and simplified non-destruction examination.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the economic potential of the regions from the mining sector of North Morowali, Central-Sulawesi, Indonesia, and the formulation of pro-business regional development management that aims to create synergy between the local government and mining sector entrepreneurs. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by taking data in the form of primary data from FGD and secondary data observations from statistical bureau data in the North Morowali, Indonesia. The analysis unit uses SWOT analysis to determine the economic potential of the North Morowali and Location Quotient (LQ) to analyze the economic potential of the mining sector. The research period covers one year (2018-2019) in North Morowali, Indonesia. All the mining products have considerable potential as a financing unit in North Morowali, while mining potential has not been maximally exploited. The absence of regulations, facilities such as road access, and optimal land and sea transportation are the causes of the difficulty of optimization and access to explore mining products comprehensively. As a new province at Central Sulawesi, more efforts and the role of government are needed to focus attention to North Morowali as an area with great potential in the mining sector.
A new approach is presented for the analysis of transient waves propagating in anisotropic composite laminates. The wavelet transform (WT) using the Gabor wavelet is applied to the time-frequency analysis of dispersive flexural waves. It is shown that the peaks of the magnitude of WT in time-frequency domain is related to the arrival times of group velocity. Experiments are performed using a lead break as the simulated fracture source on the surface of quasi-isotropic and unidirectional laminates. For predictions of the dispersion of the flexural mode, Mindlin plate theory is shown to give good agreement with the experimental results. Based on the frequency-dependent arrival times and angular dependence of group velocities of flexural waves, the problem of source location in anisotropic laminates is considered and the results are given.

In this study, the biomechanical characteristics of Kimplant were compared with that of Branemark implant by using three dimensional finite element analysis. Two finite element models were fabricated by inserting each implant into the bone model. The bone model was designed to have 18mm height, 13mm width and 15mm length. The size of each implant was planned to have 4mm width and 10mm length. A 200N force was applied on the center of abutment top in three directions - vertical, horizontal and oblique. After analyzing the stresses of fixture and surrounding bone, following results were obtained. 1. There was similar stress distribution between the two models. 2. The magnitude of maximum principal stress on the implant was similar between the two models but the location of maximum principal stress on the implant was different. 3. The magnitude and location of maximum principal stress on the surrounding bone was similar between the two models.

The finite element analyses of the wrinkling initiation and growth in the sheet metal forming process provide the detailed information about the wrinkling behavior of sheet metal. The direct analyses of the wrinkling initiation and growth, however, bring about a little difficulty in complex industrial problems because it needs large memory size and long computation time. For the description of wrinkling growth, the mesh elements should be sufficiently small and the size of finite element matrix becomes large. In the static implicit finite element method therefore, the direct analysis of wrinkling growth in a complex sheet metal forming process is rather difficult. From the industrial viewpoint of tooling design, the readily available information of possibility and location of wrinkling is sometimes more preferable to the detailed time-consuming information. In the present study, therefore, the wrinkling factor that shows locations and relative possibility of wrinkling initiation is proposed as a convenient tool of relative wrinkling estimation based on the energy criterion. The location and relative possibility of wrinkling initiation are predicted by calculating the wrinkling factor in various sheet metal forming processes such as cylindrical cup deep drawing, spherical cup deep drawing, and elliptical cup deep drawing. The wrinkling factor is also implemented in the analysis of the door inner stamping process to predict wrinkling.

We are able to find many materials of pendulum dynamic/analysis using linearized model. Usually, analysis of pendulum is to calculate for velocity, period and angle by linearized model on Newton's law. In this paper, analyzed periodical movement of pendulum using nonlinear load model. That is, analyzed load value according to location of moving pendulum at real time. And for the shake of maneuver for pendulum's location, found load control value and compared result of linearized mode with nonlinear model. The result makes know that it is possibility of nonlinear load control model to apply to various model of movement object including flight object, pendulum and etc.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of store attributes on brand equity of and brand attitude toward Korean SPA brands. Data were collected from women living in Seoul in ages from 18 to 39 with purchasing experience at Korean SPA brands. A total of 554 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis including factor analysis and structure equation analysis. The results were as follows: For store attributes, 8 factors were extracted: product assortment, fashionability, price, quality, store environment, service, convenience in location and advertisement. Two factors, brand awareness, brand image were extracted for brand equity, and brand attitude was derived as a single dimension. Product-related store attributes such as product assortment, price, quality have positive effects on brand awareness, brand image and brand attitude. Other attribute such as store environment has positive effect on brand awareness and brand image, Attribute such as advertisement has positive effect on brand awareness and service, convenience in location have positive effect on brand attitude. Moreover, brand image and brand awareness have positive effect on brand attitude. These results indicate the product-related attributes are important factors to consider for improving brand equity and brand attitude for Korean SPA brands.
Objectives Facial features can be utilized as an indicator of Korean medical diagnosis. They are often measured by using the diagnostic device for an objective diagnosis. Accordingly, it is necessary to verify the reliability of the features which are obtained from the device for the accurate diagnosis. In this study, we attempt to evaluate the repeatability of facial feature variables using the Sasang Constitutional Analysis Tool(SCAT) for the Sasang Constitutional face diagnosis. Methods Facial pictures of two subjects were taken 24 times respectively for two days according to a standard guideline. In order to evaluate the repeatability, the coefficient of variation was calculated for the facial features extracted from frontal and profile images. Results The coefficient of variation was less than 10% in most of the facial features except the upper lip, trichion, and chins related features. Conclusions It was confirmed that the coefficient of variation was small in most of the features which enables the objective and reliable analysis of face. However, some features showed the low reliability because the location of facial landmarks related to them is ambiguous. In order to solve the problem, a clear basis for the location discussion is required.
