Near-field Data Exchange by Motion Recognition of mobile phone (모바일 폰의 모션 인식에 의한 근거리 데이터 교환)

  • Location-based services (LBS) are used in various applications such as emergency support, navigation, location, traffic routes, information gathering, and entertainment due to the rapid growth of information communication technologies and mobile phones. In general, locations are represented by coordinates and are related to terrain. These are of great interest in mobile-based data transmission. This paper proposes a method to exchange the contact of the other party by detecting the movement of the mobile phone of the individual user based on the location-based service. The proposed method extracts motion using the acceleration sensor of the mobile phone and transmits the location and time information to the server when the motion continues for a predetermined time. Attempts to establish a connection between users who are experiencing motion in mobile phones in the short distance have been made from the server. Once the connection between the users is made, the encrypted contact is received from the server. Experimental results show that the proposed method can exchange data by minimizing the processing in the handset compared with the existing method.

  • Recently, interest and demand of Augmented Reality(AR) contents are increasing as an application field of AR. Generally, when the AR contents are served in the outdoor environment, the position information using the GPS signal is used to control the display of the object on the AR screen, or a marker based on the image of the object is used. However, there is a problem that location information can not be used in an indoor environment. If the service is provided using only the marker, there is a problem that the recognition of the marker due to the moving obstacle in the vicinity is unstable. and there is a problem that information displayed on the AR screen is not displayed in a fixed state at a specific position, it moves according to the movement of the camera. In this paper, we have studied the object control method for displaying the object to be displayed on the AR screen by using iBeacon using indoor location recognition and specific markers.

  • In thls Paper, we Propose a new scheme, protecting information about the location of a mobile user against attacks from inside users of the mobile communication, especially the network providers. There have already been some proposals about how to protect location information of user in mobile communication environments〔1-5〕. Among them, Kesdogan et al.〔2, 3〕 proposed a new method, using so-called temporary pseudonyms and also described protection method against a passive and an active attack of network providers. However, the description of protection method against the active attack between the two is not clear. Moreover, there is an additional load that it should append a reachability manager〔1, 6〕 to the proposed system. Therefore, we propose a new scheme improving the above method of Kesdogan et al. and analyze its security and effectiveness.

  • As the semantic web receives higher concern with an intensified necessity in these days, the research on the ontology as its core technology has been carried out in various fields. The ontology has been adopted as an alternative to work out lots of problematic issues resulted from the insufficient vocabulary selection rules in folksonomy, widely accepted under Web 2.0. Therefore the importance of research to complementarily consolidate the two disciplines, the folksonomy and the ontology, has been increased. Based on this idea this research proposes a system, which pulls out, using open services, the location information tags from folksonomy-based metadata, ultimately extracts, following location information analyses, spatial relationships among tags, and in turn automatically constructs self-correcting location information domain ontology. The system devised in this study will associate data derived from easily accessible folksonomy with meaningful and technological information from ontology.

  • In this paper, as a positioning technology for predicting the movement path of a moving object using a recurrent neural network (RNN) model, which is a deep learning network, in an indoor environment, continuous location information is used to predict the path of a moving vehicle within a local path. We propose a movement path generation technique that can reduce decision errors. In the case of an indoor environment where GPS information is not available, the data set must be continuous and sequential in order to apply the RNN model. However, Wi-Fi radio fingerprint data cannot be used as RNN data because continuity is not guaranteed as characteristic information about a specific location at the time of collection. Therefore, we propose a movement path generation technique for a vehicle moving a local path in an indoor environment by giving the necessary sequential location continuity to the RNN model.

Noninformative priors for the common location parameter in half-normal distributions

  • In this paper, we develop the reference priors for the common location parameter in the half-normal distributions with unequal scale paramters. We derive the reference priors as noninformative prior and prove the propriety of joint posterior distribution under the general prior including the reference priors. Through the simulation study, we show that the proposed reference priors match the target coverage probabilities in a frequentist sense.

  • We have implement indoor positioning system to supply orientation information, We have used ultrasound in indoor positioning system for distance and orientation measurements, then propose a set of methods to calculate orientation from an array of well placed ultrasonic sensors operating in the indoor positioning system, We have design and implement a indoor positioning system using a combination of hardware and software and demonstrate end-to-end functionality of the system, We have implement ZigBee based home automation system using location-aware System.

  • When X and Y have independent two parameter exponential distributions, we develop a Bayesian testing procedures for the equality of two location parameters. The reference prior in non-regular exponential model is derived. Under this reference prior, we propose a Bayesian test procedures for the equality of two location parameters using fractional Bayes factor and intrinsic Bayes factor. Simulation study and some real data examples are provided.
