  • The location estimation algorithm in the existing wireless network uses a base station to estimate the absolute location of three or more in the state where the terminal is fixed. However, this paper suggests a location recognition algorithm that uses a mobile terminal to estimate the location of a mobile base station using a traverse technique using a three-way estimation.

  • Recently, hierarchical architectures of databases for location management have been proposed in order to accommodate the increase in user population in future personal communication systems. In particular, a 3-level hierarchical database architecture is compatible with current cellular mobile systems. In the architecture, a newly developed additional databases, regional location database(RLR), are positioned between HLR and VLRs. We propose an efficient cache scheme, called the Double T-thresholds Location Cache Scheme. The cache scheme extends the existing T-threshold location cache scheme which is competent only under 2-level architecture of location databases currently adopted by IS-41 and GSM. The idea behind our scheme is to use two pieces of cache information, VLR and RLR serving called portables. The two pieces are required in order to exploit root only locality of registration area(RA) but also locality of regional registration area(RRA) which is the wide area covered by RLR. We also use two threshold values in order to determine whether the two pieces are obsolete. In order to model the RRA residence time, the branching Eralng-$\infty$ distribution is introduced. Our minute cost analysis shows that the double T-threshold location cache scheme yields significant reduction of network and database costs for molt patterns of portables.

  • In this study, we propose a emotion sharing system that is sharing users emotion change according to the location of the user where users was shared his emotion information and to the emotion. The system consists of a emotion sharing server and mobile smartphone apps. Emotion smartphone app represent status of emotion and location of users who wants to share emotion at map services based the Google Map API. Emotion sharing server was implemented using a RESTful way to allow emotion sharing between different variety platform besides mobile platforms. Emotion information that is exchanged on a emotion sharing server is stored in an XML fromat. We were confirm emotion sharing system that it could be sharing moving emotion change according to the user's location through map service.

  • The personal activity information is expanding as a way to utilize wearable devices that are emerging as next generation smart devices. This paper develops an application for collecting heartbeat rate and location information of a user using SmartWatch, which is a smartphone and wearable device, and analyzing it through machine learning to infer user's emotion information. By using smart phone and smart watch, developed application can collect biometric data and location information by simply executing application and doing everyday life. In addition, adding the location information to the hearbit rate data, it proves higher utilization than existing ones.

  • This research study designed a location image collecting technology. It provides the exact location information of an image which is not given in the photo to the user. Deep learning technology analysis and collects the images. The purpose of this service system is to provide the exact place name, location and the various information of the place such as nearby recommended attractions when the user upload the image photo to the service system. Suggested system has a deep learning model that has a size of 25.3MB, and the model repeats the learning process 50 times with a total of 15,266 data, performing 93.75% of the final accuracy. This system can also be linked with various services potentially for further development.

  • With the popularity of smartphone, user's location information is of great interest as mobile apps based on the location information are increasing. In this paper, we are interested in analyzing user's speed data based on the location information. It is not uncommon to observe locations with great measurement errors, removing them is necessary. The distribution of speed can be considered as a mixture model in accordance with transportation means. We identify a tail part as a component of a mixture model and fit a simple parametric model to the tail part of the speed distribution.

  • Domestic and international researches, about intelligent systems based on a variety of location recognitions using location information, have actively proceeded. The representative location recognition method based on PTMP(Point To Multi Point) communication uses TOA(Time Of Arrival) to calculate distances to a fixed node that you want to recognize a position. The method is used to obtain the fixed node location information from three nodes location information that is applied by the triangulation method. There are disadvantages, an infrastructure should be established at a specific space and the system established cost is needed, in the location recognition method based on the PTMP communication, In this paper, the ranging based PTP(Point To Point) location recognition method is proposed to revise the disadvantage of PTMP location recognition method. And then it is compared with PTMP communication location recognition to evaluate performance. In this way, PTMP and PTP communication location recognition systems based on ranging were constructed and tested in an indoor environment. Experiment results show that the proposed PTP location recognition method could be confirmed to improve accuracy more than 3 times when it was compared with the existed PTMP location recognition method.

  • This paper presents the method of emergency warning system operation based on T-DMB and the design of T-DMB AEAS receiver model. The proposed receiver model compares the geographical location of emergency with the location of DMB transmitting station from T-DMB broadcasting signal and classifies the receiver location into alert region, neighboring region and non-alert region and transmits the emergency alert message according to each region. The geographical location of emergency can be obtained from FIG 5/2 EWS data field for AEAS message and the location of DMB transmitting station can be estimated from either the latitude and the longitude in main identifier and sub identifier in FIG 0/22 data filed for TII(Transmitter Identification Information) or TII distribution database. In our experiment, we implemented the proposed receiver model with display section, storage section, DMB module for receiving broadcasting signal and control section and performed test emergency alert broadcasting using T-DMB signal generator.

  • Ad hoc could be very important in the location-based technology, much research could work underway in these days. In this paper, the property of based on RSSI (Received signal strength indicator) could extract information. A distance of self-made nodes testing were implemented for an each other between given nodes. A special purpose UoC (ubiquitous of System On Chip) system was developed in this paper. This system could provide a function of RSSI property for location information experiments. This attribute information could make possible LBS (Location-Based System) experiment for ranging technique in this development system. The experiment results could show a possibility performance delivery ratio and the number of hops. This given performance of the location information could be used to acquire a ranging technique in large number of nodes network system.

  • One of the key technical elements of wireless sensor network (WSN) is location management of sensor nodes. Typical node location management methods use GPS, ultrasonic sensors or RSSI. In this paper we propose a new location management method which adopts regression analysis of RSSI measurement to improve the accuracy of sensor node position estimation. We also evaluated the performance of proposed method by comparing the experimental results with existing scheme. According to the results, our proposed method showed better accuracy than existing location management scheme using RSSI and Firis' equation.
