¹⁸F-FBB 판독은 회백질과 백질의 신호강도를 육안으로 비교하여 이루어진다. 정량화된 영상분석을 판독과 비교하여 영상분석의 유용성을 평가하고자 한다. 환자는 판독결과를 기준으로 음성과 양성을 100명씩 나누었고 FBB 300 MBq 주입하고 90분 뒤 20분간 촬영했다. 장비는 Discovery 600 (GE Healthcare, MI, USA)을 사용하였다. 제조사에서 제공하는 아밀로이드 판독 기준을 근거하여 4개의 관심영역을 설정하였다. 영상분석은 각 SUVmean을 소뇌로 나누어 SUVr를 산출하고 전체 영역에서의 평균 SUVr로 진행하였다. 통계분석은 ROC Curve를 통한 Cutoff 도출과 독립표본 t-test의 그룹간 차이, 그리고 Kappa test를 통한 판독결과와 일치도를 분석하였다. 전체 영역에서의 평균 SUVr의 Cutoff는 1.23으로 나왔다. Cutoff를 사용한 판독결과와 일치도는 음성에서 95/100 (95 %), 양성에서 92/100 (92 %)로 나왔다. t-test 결과 그룹 간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었고(P < 0.05) Kappa 통계 결과 0.867로 높은 일치도를 나타냈다(P < 0.05). 영상분석의 결과가 통계적으로 유의하며 판독결과에도 높은 일치도를 보여 주었다. 추가적으로 FBB 영상분석은 아밀로이드가 축적된 부위를 3D 매핑하여 볼 수 있고 위치추정이 가능하며 정량분석 결과를 세분화하여 볼 수 있다. 정량화된 FBB 영상분석을 보조지표로 활용한다면 판독에 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

A newly recorded glycerid polychaete collected from mud of the tidal flat in the southwestern coast of Korea is identified as Glycera fallax Quatrefages, 1850 based on the morphologies of papaillae and ailerons on proboscis, parapodial postsetal lobes, and branchiae. In this paper, we provide a detailed description and illustration of Korean materials of this species and a key to the species of the genus Glycera from Korean waters.

The mixing of two dissimilar aluminum alloys in friction stir welding (FSW) was investigated using etching. The results show that the materials from the retreating side mixed into the advancing side in rather narrow and elongated bands whereas the materials from the advancing side mixed into the retreating side in the form of thick bands and lobes. A computational method using smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) is introduced as a way to properly describe the complex mixing behavior in FSW.

A case of bronchogenic cyst arising from an accessory lobe in a 7-month old baby was encountered at Seoul University Hospital. On exploration, right lung consisted of 4 lobes and a huge cyst was confined to an accessory lobe, which had no bronchial connection. The cyst was filled with jelly-like thick mucus; inner surface was glistening and smooth. Microscopically, the cyst was lined with pseudostratified columnar epithelium. Bronchogenic cyst, moreover, which arising from an accessory lobe is very rare and interesting. And so, case report and review of literature was made.

Prunus speciosa (Koidz.) Nakai belonging to Prunoideae of Rosaceae, a species previously unrecorded in Korean flora, is described. Prunus speciosa (Koidz.) Nakai is similar to Prunus sargentii Rehder and Prunus jamasakura Siebold ex Koidz., but different because it has toothed lobes of calyx tubes with the apex of leaf serrations aristate. This species is naturalized widely in the eastern parts of Jeju Island but is endemic to Japan.

We have experienced a case of 42-year-old woman with congenital broncho-esophageal fistula. The patient had productive coughing since childhood. A barium-swallowing examination showed a lower esophageal diverticulum communicating via a fistula with posterior basal segment of right lower lobe. Bronchography showed bronchiectasis in right middle and lower lobes. At thoracotomy resection of the diverticulum, bronchoesophageal fistula, and right middle and lower lobe of lung were performed. The postoperative course was uneventful.

By employing the vinylite corrosion technique, the distribution of the hepatic vein within the liver in 50 Korean native goats was observed. 1. In 50 vinylite casts, the principal branches of hepatic vein are Vena hepatica sinistra, Vena hepatica sinistra et medialis, Vena heapati dextralateralis et medialis, Vena hepatica caudatorum, Vena hepatica dorsolateralits: three chief branches are Vena hepatica sinistra, Vena hepatica dextra, Vena hepatica caudatorum. 2. In the liver of Korean goat are recognized three lobes, i.e. Lobus sinister, Lobus dexter and Lobus caudate.

The intrapulmonary teratoma is an extremely tumor. This paper reports a case of int-rapulmonary teratoma located in the right upper and middle lobes of the lung in a 16-years-old male patient. The initial symptoms were right chest pain and coughing. Chest X-ray revealed huge soft tissue mass density in the right lower lung field. Right upper and middle lobectomy with resection of invaded pericardium was done. The gross and microscopic findings of res-ected specimen revealed characteristic findings of the intrapulmonary teratoma. The patient was recovered uneventually. We would like to describe this case of rare tumor with the review of literatures.

This research introduces three new fractal array configurations that have superior performance over the well-known Sierpinski fractal array. These arrays are based on the fractal shapes Dragon, Twig, and a new shape which will be called Flap fractal. Their superiority comes from the low side lobe level and/or the wide angle between the main lobe and the side lobes, which improves the signal-to-intersymbol interference and signal-to-noise ratio. Their performance is compared to the known array configurations: uniform, random, and Sierpinski fractal arrays.
