Generally data loading is a laborous job to develop models. Meteorological data is basic input data for hydrological models, it is provided through websites of Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA). The website of KMA provides daily meteorological observation data with tabular format classified by years, items, stations. It is cumbersome to manipulate tabular format for model inputs such as time series and multi-item or multi-station data. The provider oriented services which broadcast restricted formed information have caused inconvenient processes. Tim O'Reilly introduces "Web 2.0" which focuses on providing a service based on data. The top ranked IT companies such as google, yahoo, daum, and naver provide customer oriented services with Open API (Application Programming Interface). A RESTful web service, typical implementation for Open API, consists URI request and HTTP response which are simple and light weight protocol than SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol). The aim of this study is to develop a web-based service that helps loading data for human use instead of machine use. In this study, the developed RESTful web service provides Open API for manipulating meteorological data. The proposed Open API can easily access from spreadsheet programs, web browsers, and various programming environments.
Water quality in Nakdong river was analyzed using 699 monitoring data sets including flow rates and water quality concentrations collected at 195 tributary monitoring stations (the priority management areas: 35 stations, the non-priority management areas: 160 stations) in 2015. The highest average concentrations of all data for BOD, COD, T-N, T-P, SS, and TOC were 30~600 times higher than the lowest concentrations while the highest average loading rates were 800,000~2,700,000 times higher than the lowest loading rates. Because of the very large differences in the concentrations and loading rates, the variation of the concentrations and loading rates in a priority management monitoring station for BOD, T-P, and TOC was analyzed using the coefficient of variation, the ratio of the standard deviation value to the mean value. For BOD, T-P, and TOC, the coefficients of variation for concentration were mostly less than 100%, whereas the coefficients of variation for loading rate ranged from 31.1% to 232.2%. The very big difference in the loading rates was due to the large variation in flow rates. As a result of this, the estimation of water quality at each monitoring station using the average values of the concentrations and loading rates might be not rational in terms of their representativeness. In this study, new water quality analysis methods using all collected monitoring data were suggested and applied according to the water quality standard in medium-sized management areas.
With the advent of smartphones, people can access various information through the internet anytime and anywhere. Even in the vehicle environment, users can use the internet. Users interact with web and applications every day and get information. However, as the amount of data to be processed by the program increases, users inevitably receive a message to wait. User waiting is an inconvenient experience, but minimizing user waiting is the best way because there is time required for data processing. However, if the service processing time exceeds the expected time, users experience more severe boredom and pain. Therefore, various methods and researches are being conducted to alleviate the boredom of user waiting. The most commonly used method to alleviate user waiting boredom is loading. In this study, we investigated the effect of skeleton loading, the latest loading technique, on user waiting experience, and how attractive it is as a design technique in terms of UI compared to other loading techniques.
An integrated heuristic approach based on genetic algorithms (GAs) is proposed for solving the container selection and loading problems. The GA for container selection solves a two-dimensional knapsack problem, determining a set of containers to minimize the transportation or shipment cost. The GA for container loading solves for the weighted coefficients in the evaluation functions that are applied in selecting loading positions and boxes to be loaded, so that the volume utilization is maximized. Several loading constraints such as box orientation, stack priority, stack stability, and container stability are also incorporated into the algorithm. In general, our computational results based on randomly generated data and problems from the literature suggest that the proposed heuristic provides a good solution in a reasonable amount of computational time.

The objective of this paper is to develop a consistent algorithm for the finite element analysis for behavior of concrete under cyclic loading using viscoplastic-damage model. For modeling the behavior of concrete under cyclic loading, consistent algorithms of rate-dependent viscoplastic-damage are employed with a Willam-Warnke 5-parameter failure criterion which can consider the softening behavior of concrete and consistent tangent moduli are derived. Using finite element program implemented with the developed algorithms, the algorithms are verified and the behaviors of concrete under cylic loading are simulated and compared with experimental data.
A common problem for manufacturing industries, especially consumer goods industries, is how to establish standardized procedures for loading finished goods onto pallets or containers for subsequent storage and distribution. Utilizing previous research results on the palletizing problem, this paper develops micro-computer based programs which generate an optimum loading pattern leading to the minimum amount of unused pallet or container space. Development of pallet layout chart is also included in the computer programs. The results are displayed by computer-graphic. For the users who are unfamiliar with pallet loading problem and computer system, pull-down menu and user-computer interactive data input procedures are adopted.
The aim of this study is to investigate the ductile fracture behavior under mixed mode (I/II) loading using SA533B pressure vessel steel. Anti-symmetric 4-point (AS4P) bending tests were performed to obtain the J-R curves under two different mixed mode (I/II) loadings. In addition, finite element analysis using Rousselier Ductile Damage Theory was carried out to predict the J-R curves under mixed mode (I/II) loadings. In conclusions, the J-R curves under. Mixed Mode (I/II) loading were located between those of Mode I and Mode II loading. When the mixity of mixed mode (I/II) loading was high, the J-R curve of mixed mode (I/II) loading approached that of pure mode I loading after some amount of crack propagation. In contrast with the above fact, if the mixity was low, the J-R curve took after that of pure mode II loading. Finally, it was found that the predicted J-R curves made a good agreement with the test data through the tuning procedures of $\beta$ values at the different mixed mode (I/II) loading.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the GLEAMS-PADDY model by applying it to estimate nutrients loading from paddy-field areas. Field data from Soro region of Chungbuk province during May to September 1999 were used for model application. Field data collected include the amounts of rainfall, irrigation water, drainage water, ET, and Percolation in hydrology Part. T-N and T-P concentrations in the rain water, irrigation water, ponded water, drainage water and percolated water were measured. The comparisons of observed and simulated water balance components and nutrient concentrations showed reasonably good agreements and the GLEAMS-PADDY model may be used to simulate nutrients loading from paddy fields. Futher research was suggested to include the erosion submodel in the GLEAMS-PADDY model to better simulate the nutrient behavior. In addition, the pesticide submodel also recommended to be included in order to simulate the various pesticide applied in paddy fields.

Due to digital convergence, mobile embedded systems need more functionalities and a fully fledged OS. Applications for such embedded systems are linked with many shared libraries available in the OS and access a large data set at launch time. This results in increased application launch time. In this paper, we propose two techniques for reducing the application launch time: lazy-loading and pinning. Lazy-loading defers loading shared libraries that are not used in the application at launch time, whereas pinning guarantees the residence of shared libraries and data used at launch time in the main memory.
This research was conducted with the aim of efficiently managing large scale of rivers such like Songyang-river through predicting water quality change with analyzing the characteristics of the flowing in nutrients and pollutants. The main result will be used as basic data for effectively operating reservoirs through controling water quality and quantity. The relationship between quantity of flow and water quality was analyzed and pollution loading into the basin was estimated. Three areas of Soyang-river upstream and one area of Suip-cheon in Yanggu-gun were selected as research sites. Flow and water quality were measured simultaneously. The relation between quantity of discharge and pollution concentration and between quantity of discharge and pollution loading were analyzed by statistical method, respectively. We provided a rating curve through measuring quantity of discharge(collecting quantity of discharge) and pollutograph and pollution loading curve through water quality data. Also, we analyzed the correlation between quantity of discharge per unit area and pollution loading per unit area in each basin. As resurt of this research, Buk-cheon spot revealed an excellent first grade water quality for the items including $BOD_5$, DO, and SS. The correlation coefficient between Buk-cheon spot's quantity of discharge and pollution loading was 0.896~0.996, showing the validity of analysis applying correlation curve formula of quantity of discharge and pollution loading in the same spot. Also, pollution loading per unit area of the items including $BOD_5$, COD, DO, SS, T-N, T-P increased as the area of basins get increased following the sequence of Buk-cheon, Suip-cheon, Naelin-cheon spots.
