This paper presents a study of path-planning method for AGV(automated guided vehicle) based on path-tracking. It is important to find an optimized path among the AGV techniques. This is due to the fact that the AGV is conditioned to follow the predetermined path. Consequently, the path-planning method is implemented directly affects the whole AGV operation in terms of its performance efficiency. In many existing methods are used optimization algorithms to find optimized path. However, such methods are often prone with problems in handling the issue of inefficiency that exists in system's operation due to inherent undue time delay created by heavy load of complex computation. To solve such problems, we offer path-planning method using modified binary tree. For the purpose of our experiment, we initially designed a AGV that is equiped with laser navigation, two encoders, a gyro sensor that is meant to be operated within actual environment with given set of constrictions and layout for the AGV testing. The result of our study reflects the fact that within such environments, the proposed method showed improvement in its efficiency in finding optimized path.

This paper presents an envelope tracking power amplifier using a standard CMOS process for the 3GPP long-term evolution transmitters. An efficiency of the CMOS power amplifier for the modulated signals can be improved using a highly efficient and wideband CMOS bias modulator. The CMOS PA is based on a two-stage differential common-source structure for high gain and large voltage swing. The bias modulator is based on a hybrid buck converter which consists of a linear stage and a switching stage. The dynamic load condition according to the envelope signal level is taken into account for the bias modulator design. By applying the bias modulator to the power amplifier, an overall efficiency of 41.7 % was achieved at an output power of 24 dBm using the 16-QAM uplink LTE signal. It is 5.3 % points higher than that of the power amplifier alone at the same output power and linearity.
Photovoltaic conditioning systems normally use a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique to deliver the highest possible power to the load continuously when variations occur in the insolation and temperature. A unique method of tracking the maximum power points (MPPs) and forcing the boost converter system to operate close to these points is presented through deriving small-signal model and transfer function of boost converter considering input capacitor. This paper aims at modeling boost converter including fairly large equivalent series resistance(ESR) of input reservoir capacitor by state-space-averaging method and PWM switch model and compares both methods using Bode plots. In the future, properly designed controller for compensation will be constructed in 3kw real system for maximum photovoltaic power tracking control.

The template matching method is used as a simple method to track objects or patterns that we want to search for in the input image data from image sensors. It recognizes a segment with the highest correlation as a target. The concept of this method is similar to that of SNF (Strongest Neighbor Filter) that regards the measurement with the highest signal intensity as target-originated among other measurements. The SNF assumes that the strongest neighbor (SN) measurement in the validation gate originates from the target of interest and the SNF utilizes the SN in the update step of a standard Kalman filter (SKF). The SNF is widely used along with the nearest neighbor filter (NNF), due to computational simplicity in spite of its inconsistency of handling the SN as if it is the true target. Probabilistic Strongest Neighbor Filter for m validated measurements (PSNF-m) accounts for the probability that the SN in the validation gate originates from the target while the SNF assumes at any time that the SN measurement is target-originated. It is known that the PSNF-m is superior to the SNF in performance at a cost of increased computational load. In this paper, we suggest an image tracking algorithm that combines the template matching and the PSNF-m to estimate the states of a tracked target. Computer simulation results are included to demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm in comparison with other algorithms.

This paper optimizes the optical flying head(OFH) suspension using the integrated optimization frame, which automatically integrates the analysis with the optimization and effectively implements the repetitive works between them. The problem formulation for the optimization is suggested to improve the dynamic compliance of OFH and to shift the resonant frequencies caused tracking errors to high frequency domain. Furthermore, the minimization of the effective suspension mass that leads to decrease the so-called 'lift-off' as the disk-head separation acceleration divided by the suspension load is taken into consideration. In particular, this study is carried out the optimal design considering the process of modes tracking through the entire optimization processes. The advanced suspension that reduces the effective mass of the suspension and increases the resonant frequencies of sway and $2^{nd}$ torsion over 10kHz is achieved by using the integrated optimization frame.
This paper proposes a 250 mV supply voltage digital low-dropout (LDO) regulator. The proposed LDO regulator reduces the supply voltage to 250 mV by implementing with all digital circuits in a$0.11{\mu}m$ CMOS process. The fast current tracking scheme achieves the fast settling time of the output voltage by eliminating the ringing problem. The over-voltage and under-voltage detection circuits decrease the overshoot and undershoot voltages by changing the switch array current rapidly. The switch bias circuit reduces the size of the current switch array to 1/3, which applies a forward body bias voltage at low supply voltage. The fabricated LDO regulator worked at 0.25 V to 1.2 V supply voltage. It achieved 250 mV supply voltage and 220 mV output voltage with 99.5% current efficiency and 8 mV ripple voltage at $20{\mu}A$ to $200{\mu}A$ load current.

In the industrial motor drive system which is composed of a motor and load connected with a flexible shaft, a torsional vibration is often generated because of the elastic elements in torque transmission. This vibration, which is generated in a two-mass mechanical system. To solve this problem, recently there has been a lot of researches for the robust control relevant to the $H_{\infty}$ control suppressing the torsional vibration and rejecting the torque disturbance. In the case of the $H_{\infty}$controller, however, the command tracking property becomes worse because of overshoot during transient response. For this reason the $H_{\infty}$ controller, which includes the two-degrees-of-freedom(TDOF) controller, is designed in order to improve command tracking property. However, it also includes complexity realizing this controller. In this paper, a new $H_{\infty}$ controller with partial state feedback is proposed. Proposed $H_{\infty}$controller has simple structure but satisfies with the fast command tracking property and the attenuation of disturbances and vibrations simultaneously, just like the complicated TDOF $H_{\infty}$ controller.

An Optimal Feedforward Integral Variable Structure or FIVSC approach for an electrohydraulic position servo control system is presented in this paper. The FIVSC algorithm combines feedforward strategy and integral in the conventional Variable Structure Control (VSC) and calculating the control function to guarantee the existence of a sliding mode. Furthermore, the chattering in the control signal is suppressed by replacing the sign function in the control function with a smoothing function. The simulation results illustrate that the purposed approach gives a significant improvement on the tracking performances when compared with some existing control methods, like the IVSC and MIVSC strategies. Simulation results illustrate that the purposed approach can achieve a zero steady state error for ramp input and has an optimal motion with respect to a quadratic performance index. Moreover, Its can achieve accurate servo tracking in the presence of plant parameter variation and external load disturbances.
The solar cell has an optimum operating point to be able to got maximum power. To obtain maximum power from Photovoltaic array, hotovoltaic power system usually requres maximum power point c tracking controller. The output characteristics of solar cell are nonlinear, and these characteristics vary with load solar insolation, solar cell temperature. Therefore the tracking control of maximum power point is the com-plicated problem. This paper presents power characteristics of residential Photovoltaic system applying a buck-boost conversion system.
