The seismic failure-prone region in Istanbul has been examined in terms of the segmented pipelines. Although some researchers have suggested that this territory should be left as a green land, many people continue to live in this area. This region is about 9-10 km away from the North Anatolian Fault Line. This fault zone is an active right-lateral strike-slip fault line in Turkey and an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0-7.5 is expected in the Marmara Sea. Therefore, superstructures and infrastructures are under both land sliding risks and seismic risks in this area. Because there are not any pipeline-fault line intersection points in the region, in this study, it has been focused on the behaviors of the segmented (sewage or stormwater) pipelines subject to earthquake-induced permanent ground deformation and seismic wave propagation. Based on the elastic beam theory some necessary analyses have been carried out and obtained results of this approximation have been examined.

Recent progresses in the live electrooptic imaging (LEI) technique are reviewed with emphasis on its functionality of real-time visual accesses to traveling electric waves in the GHz range. Together with the principles, configurations, and procedures for the visual observation experiments by an LEI camera system, the following results are described as examples indicating the wide application ranges of the technique; Ku-band waves on arrayed planar antennas, waves on a Gb/s-class digital circuit, W-band waves traveling both in slab-waveguide modes and aerially, backward-traveling wave along composite right/left-handed transmission line, and, waves in monolithic microwave integrated circuit module case.

비접지방식 선박에서의 접지 고장은 대지 임피던스의 불평형을 가져오고 대지전압을 상승시켜 감전이나 전기화재의 염려가 높아진다. 접지에 따른 이 같은 대지전압의 왜곡 상태는 전기안전의 측면에서 실시간으로 감시할 필요가 있으며 이 경우 대지전압의 측정치를 위상변화 감시가 가능한 벡터다이어그램으로 나타내는 것이 효과적이다. 대지전압의 상태는 중성점 위치에 의해 표시될 수 있다는 점에서 우선 측정된 대지전압 입력에 대해 벡터 평면의 중성점을 출력하는 연산과정과 알고리즘의 해석이 필요하다. 이를 토대로 본 연구에서는 매 샘플링 주기마다 대지전압을 입력하여 컴퓨터 모니터 상에 중성점과 벡터 대지전압을 출력하는 모듈을 구성한 후 실제 배전선로에서의 실험을 통해 제시한 장치의 적정성을 확인하였다.

본 논문에서는 채널상태에 동적으로 최적화한 HLS(Http Live Streaming)의 비트 율에 따라 전송하기 위해 적응 버퍼링을 제안하였다. 이러한 스마트 OTT(Over The Top) 플랫폼은 서버와 클라이언트 사이의 통신망 대역폭 용량을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 다중 비트율과 대역폭 조절기(resolution) 사이의 비디오 스트림의 전송속도를 조정하도록 설계하였다. 이러한 적응 버퍼링은 기본적인 HLS 버퍼 구조에 2개의 버퍼를 추가한다. 적응 버퍼링은 이전 채널과 다음 채널을 지속적으로 버퍼링을 한다. 제안한 스마트 OTT 플랫폼의 적응 버퍼링은 단일 버퍼링의 정적 HLS 방식 보다 우수하다. 이러한 방식은 HLS 사용자가 가용 통신망 속도를 분석함으로서 스마트 OTT 단말의 적을 버퍼링 속도를 조절 할 수 있기 때문이다. 이로서 스마트 OTT가 비트 율을 동적으로 최적화함으로서 라이브와 VOD 형태의 비디오를 전송하도록 구축하였다. 세그먼트 형식의 H.265 MPEG-2 TS 비디오정보인 m3u8 파일을 활용함으로서 HLS의 서버가 통신망 상황에 맞게 연동할 수 있으며, PLC(Power Line Control) 전송과도 연동할 수 있다.

멸치는 남해안에서는 여러 단계의 크기의 것이 혼획되는데, 가다랭이 미끼용으로는 채장 6-7m의 것이 알맞으므로, 이 크기의 것을 가급적 언중 확보하기 위해서는, 그 분포상을 조사하여 적정 자원이 가장 많이 출현하는 해역을 알 필요가 있다. 또, 멸치의 크기에 따라 상품가치도 크게 다르므로 멸치 어업을 합리적으로 운영하기 위해서나, 자원의 관리를 위해서도 채장 조사는 중요하다. 여기서는 멸치어업이 주로 이루어지는 7월부터 12월의 한국 동남 해역에 있어서의 멸치의 분포상에 관하여 조사한 것을 보고한다

The purpose of this study is to analyze the distribution characteristics of the agency-managed shared housings in Seoul and draw the possible implications from it. The needed data for the study was obtained from an on-line shared housing portal service which provides housing information from various shared housing management agencies. By mapping out the locations and other related data into a GIS(Geographic Information System) program, this study shows that shared housings in Seoul can be sorted into four large clusters. Each cluster has a different ratio of housing types and room capacities reflecting each regional circumstance and common causes. Women-only shared housing takes up 79% of the overall shared housing ratio and, while multi-family housing type has the most count, the apartment type has a noticeably high ratio in women-only housing compared to the apartment type ratio among the other gender-specific housings. Given the high crime rate against the single-person household of young adult women, the reason for the popularity of shared-apartment housing among young women can be deduced. However, the potential tenants' practical choices and their concern for safety are not the only causes that drive the current shared housing market. The young adults in their 20's and 30's choose to live in popular places where they can engage social activities. A new tier of shared housing market has also appeared in places where young adults could not have afforded if they lived alone. Choosing where we live is no longer about just meeting the requirements for a house based on what she/he needs but also about satisfying the preferences for a living based on what she/he desires. This paper indicates that although there is an undeniable premise that 'sharing a house' revolves around the realm of housing welfare and is not a typical topic for the upper-income households, the way we live and how we choose our place to live is shifting.

This paper estimates the electric field effect near 765[kV] AC double transmission line with numerical data. The induced voltage and current of a human and car under who kinds of phase arrangement are calculated when each of two objects is insulated or grounded. When the calculated results of the low-reactance and superposition phase arrangement are compared, it is proved that the induced voltage and current of the former are about 30 [%] smaller than that of the latter. The induced current of a human and car are less than 0.5[mA] which is about 10[%] less than that of the American National Standard Code. Also the induced voltage and current of dead lines by other live lines are calculated. Finally the effective number and position of shield wires to reduce the field in ground level are considered. charge simulation method and surface charge method are used to simulate the 2 or 3 dimensional transmission line model respectively.

본 논문은 COS 활선 교체 작업시 발생할 수 있는 전기적인 위험성에 대한 연구를 수행한 것으로 현장특성을 최대한 고려하여 시험하였다. 시험결과, 일반적으로 절연체로 생각되는 COS 애관 및 결합애자에서도 전위가 유도됨을 확인하였으며, 활선작업 시 발생할 수 있는 감전에 대한 경로분석 및 인체에 대한 영향을 검토하였다.

A study to identify the energized status of the 22.9kV underground power cable by the detection of vibration was reformed. We derived that there exists vibration at double the line frequency in live cables by electromagnetic force. The vibration can be picked up by accelerometer sensor. A prototype was tested on the underground distribution system in Chonan Station, KEPCO. The results are presented and suggest the applicability of the detecting device.

They have many kinds of equipments, namely conductive cloths, insulated gloves, conductive shoes, insulated sticks, swivel boom, fittings and insulator cradles etc. We have suggested about use of equipments, basic functions and shapes.
