The emergence of knowledge-sharing live streamers provides more diversified content to the live streaming platform. Analysis of the factors affecting the intention to use knowledge sharing live streaming users can allow the live streaming platform to understand better the adoption characteristics of users who follow this type of content. Help platform operators provide better services and help live streaming platforms innovate. Based on the TAM model, this research uses questionnaire surveys and structural equation models to construct a conceptual model of the influencing factors of users' intentions in the knowledge sharing live streaming and conduct an empirical analysis on the influencing factor models. The results of data analysis show that a significant influence of users' attitudes of knowledge sharing live streaming is perceived usefulness, followed by flow experience; perceived value has a positive impact on users' attitudes and intention to use, and the positive influence of users attitude significantly affect the user's intention.

Consumers' shopping experience has recently expanded to mobile and social networks; in addition, online fashion retailers started to focus on real-time interaction services as an emerging marketing tool. This study explores the consumer' shopping experience based on social live streaming services (SLSS) to investigate consumer's response behavior and effects through perceived service quality. An online survey method was conducted and a total of 186 female consumer panels were collected. The results indicate that cognitive communion of co-experience had a significant effect on perceived SLSS service quality (responsiveness, contents informativeness, playfulness, system availability). Service quality of SLSS (responsiveness, contents informativeness, and playfulness) had significant effect on trust in SLSS seller while system availability had no significant effect. Also, trust in seller showed significant effect on purchase intention. Last, it was confirmed that the moderating effect of purchasing experience of SLSS was significant in the relationship between cognitive communion and responsiveness/playfulness. There was also an additional significant moderating effect of purchasing experience between system availability and trust in seller.

In this paper, we address the channel zapping time problem of video streaming services based on HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) on smart Over-The-Top Set-Top Boxes (OTT STBs). Experimental analysis of the channel zapping time, show that smart OTT STBs inevitably suffer from the accumulated zapping time through channel change request, Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) leave/join, synchronization delay, video buffer delay, and STB processing delay when providing HLS services. As a practical solution for the zapping time reduction, an adaptive buffering method is proposed. The proposed method exploits two adaptive buffers added to the basic HLS player. These two adaptive buffers are responsible for constantly buffering previous and next channels relative to the current channel. Implementation and test results show that a stable zapping time less than one second can be achieved even under diverse video bitrate changes and varying network conditions by the proposed adaptive buffering method.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze production and innovation networks of services in the long-live area of Gangwon and Jeju Provinces and to suggest a policy direction for regional development of rural areas where have been neglected in the knowledge-based information society. Four counties in the Honam Region, the long-live belt of Korea and two cities (Jeonju, Gwangju) are surveyed for the purpose of comparison with the Gangwon and Jeju areas. Production and innovation networks of research and supporting activities and tourist services are analyzed based on intensive interview surveys of the regions. The result of the analysis suggests that the innovation networks among the economic actors have considerable impacts on the innovation processes of the service activities and the service functions in the rural area are somewhat developed with local industry after the practice of local autonomy. The processes of innovation networks are progressed differently by the hierarchy of the regions as well as by the function of services such as research and supporting activities and tourist services. The direction of the rural development in the knowledge-based information society seems to be intensifying the networks among the innovative actors and developing virtual innovation networks for the development of rural innovation systems.

Advances of the computer system and the high-speed network have made it possible to popularize the multimedia services among various applications in the internet. Tourism businesses use chat services to provide immediate customer support and to help users navigate within a website, but there are more outcomes of this interaction that should be examined. The current study aimed to discover if the online travel chat service quality and information value of the online travel chat service lead to user satisfaction with the service and visit intention to a recommended destination by Korea Tourism Organization's 1330 Live Chat. The results indicate that information value (functional and innovation) and online travel chat service quality (reliability, assurance, and security) lead to satisfaction with the live chat service and visit intention to a recommended destination. The results can benefit practitioners who want to expand and improve their customer service interaction and recommendations, and to scholars who study the relationship between customer services in tourism recommendation and sales context.

Recently, with the development of interactive communication system, demands for video live streaming service has increased. Live streamers generate revenues from donations, but existing laws are inadequate to handle these donations. Problems arise when minors donate because they have the right of revocation. In the case of donations that request benefits in return, legal characteristics and results are different from unilateral donations. If minors exercise their right of revocation, live streamers must pay back without getting proper compensation for their services. In this paper, we detect the characteristics of bilateral contract in live streaming donation, indicate the harms that live streamers can get, examine precedents and donation processes focusing on cases when minors can not exercise the right of revocation due to deception, and propose revisions that can protect the streamers without invading minors' rights. Through academically identifying ambiguous legal situations and presenting dispute prevention procedures, this paper can bring positive impacts on the online industry.

Purpose: This study used MDS-HC 2.0 to identify health problems in the elderly who live alone. Method: The subjects of this study were 100 living-alone elders aged over 65 in Daegu city. This study was performed through home visiting interviews during the period from the 1st of September to the 30th of September 2005. Analysis in this study was made using SPSS Version 11.0. Results: Frequent health problems in the living-alone elderly were: preventive heath measure (90), health promotion (80), social function (78), visual function (75), depression and anxiety (61), pain and communication disorder (60), cognition (55), environmental assessment (48) and oral health (45) in order of frequency. Informal services were provided to 73% of the subjects for emotional support. IADL services were provided to 57% of the subjects, and ADL services to 66%. Conclusion: Nursing intervention programs based on health problems from MDS-HC 2.0 should be provided in order to cope with individual health problems and living-alone elders needs. The results of this study suggest that MDS-HC 2.0 is applicable to help decide nursing interventions for the elderly who live alone in community.

The objectives of this study were to explore rural elderly's perception on rural area as a proper place to live for the elders and to find out their residential satisfaction and its related variables. The data were gathered through the questionnaire survey from 241 rural elderly over 70 aged living in Gyeonggi province during July 2005. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1) Those who are men, having experience living in urban area, and favorable perception to social relation with other residences prefer the rural area to urban area as living place for the elderly ; 2) Those who are subjectively perceived healthy and favorable perception to social relation with other residences tend to be in higher residential satisfaction than other groups ; 3) Such variables as age, educational background, living term in community and urban area were not significant to rural elderly's perception on rural area as a proper place to live for the elders and residential satisfaction; 4) Such variables as identification as community residences, people-oriented personality, sex and having experience living in urban area explained 26.4% of variance in rural elderly's perception on rural area as a proper place to live for the elders ; 5) Such three variables as identification as community residences, relationship with the primary group and age explained 55.2% of variances in residential satisfaction; 6) In shortly, the most influential factor to rural elderly's perception on rural area as a proper place to live for the elder and residential satisfaction was their identification as community residences.

As the performance of the next-generation broadband wireless networks is dramatically enhanced, various services (i.e., education, Live video streaming, Live video conferencing, online games, etc.) have been provided to users through a smart mobile platform. Those services are usually provided by using the centralized communication server. However, since all multimedia traffic is exchanged through a communication server, it often has the scalability problem with regard to traffic management. Our main purpose is for group smart users to provide scalable live multimedia streaming service based on P2P network. To do this, we have designed an architecture of P2P-based service management for mobile group communication management and service management protocol. In order to verify the performance of the proposed scheme, we have mathematically analyzed the performance in terms of the average transmission delay and bandwid th utilization.
