In this paper, the characteristics of cable logging systems, of which skyline length is adjustable during operation are discussed from a standpoint of system geometry. Among the cable logging systems, the live skyline is the typical one, of which operation is easy to understand. To analyze the cable logging mechanics of the live skyline, computer models were developed. In developing the computer models, the concept of the live skyline operation was classified into 'true live skyline' and 'live skyline with lift'. The former assumes to adjust skyline length continuously to maintain the skyline clearance over ground constant during inhaul ; the latter assumes to shorten the skyline length only to keep the minimum skyline clearance during inhaul. The computer model was used in investigating the mechanical efficiency and the operational characteristics of the live skyline system. First, the payload capability of live skyline was compared with that of standing skyline. Second, the effect of the change in the log-drag geometry on the payload capability of live skyline was investigated. Finally, the payload capability of live skyline with lift was compared with that of true live skyline as an effort to explain the concepts of true live skyline and live skyline with lift.

The distribution live-line work method is an operation method of working in a state in which electricity flows through overhead distribution lines to minimize inconvenience to electric customers due to power failure. In June 2016, to strengthen the safety of electrical workers, Korea Electric Power Corporation announced that it would in principle abolish the rubber glove method, in which workers wore protective equipment such as rubber gloves and performed their maintenance work. In addition, KEPCO announced that it would develop a short-range live working method using smart sticks and an advanced live-line maintenance robot system where workers work without touching wires directly. This paper is a preliminary study for the development of the live-line maintenance robot system, and deals with the results of analyzing the technical feasibility of whether the live works performed by workers can be replaced by robots or not.

This study analyzed the structure of imported fisheries, focusing especially on the following factors of live fisheries import : First of all, it is confirmed that the import of live fisheries expands when domestic production decreases. To put it concretely, the structure of domestic live fish supply is based upon the production of aquaculture, the shift from export to domestic use, and imported live fisheries. These all coexist, expand, and grow together. Secondly, the structure of the consumer's market - the background of expanding and growing live fisheries-is currently diversifying with quality and quantity from a local area consumer system based upon regional markets, to a wider ranged system based upon the food industry and retailing market. The existence of the consumer markets is premised upon a stable supply structure, in terms of material and price. Thirdly, in terms of trade policy, control of imports instantly reduces import goods. But it is reasonable to say that there is not any logical effectiveness of denying the stable growth of low market capital under the background of strong consummer expansion. Fourthly, the attitude of the import related managener organization is directly related to the degree to which it is connected to live fish import. It is demanded that such a managing organization possess suitable facilities, specializaed knowledge, and management skill of live fisheries. So it is predicted that newly introducing the importing of live fisheries is not simple. It indirectly shows that the capital which relates to live fisheries are connected with the importing og live fish fisheries.

This study examined the impact of the social features (identification, interaction, information value) and technical features (visibility affordance, metavoicing affordance, social connecting affordance) in live commerce on consumers' attachment, which in turn affects consumers' continued intent to watch live commerce and intent to purchase from the platform. Consumers' attachment was represented by emotional attachment to the live shopping streamer and functional dependence on live commerce. Furthermore, this study investigated the effect of attachment on continuous watching intention and purchase intention. Using a web-based survey and consumers in their 20s and 30s (average age: 30.32) as a sample, this study collected 274 usable responses. The results showed that among the live commerce social system constructs, identification and interaction positively affected emotional attachment to the live commerce streamer. Among the live commerce technical system constructs, visibility affordance and social connecting affordance positively influenced functional dependence on live commerce. Both emotional attachment to the live streamer and functional dependence on live commerce were positively related to a continued intent to watch, which influenced the intent to purchase. This study empirically investigated live commerce based on the socio-technical systems framework and confirmed that both social and technical factors have a significant effect on consumers. This study also identified the impact of live commerce on consumers' attitudes through attachment theory. In addition, it has proved the antecedents and effect of continuous watching of live commerce on purchase behavior by focusing on continuous watching intention where less attention was paid in live commerce research.

Football (soccer) is one of the most popular sports in the world. A huge number of people watch live football matches by TV or Internet. A football match takes 90 minutes, but viewers may only want to watch a few highlights to save their time. As far as we know, there is no such a product that can be put into use to achieve intelligent highlight extraction from live football matches. In this paper, we propose an intelligent editing system for live football matches. Our system can automatically extract a series of highlights, such as goal, shoot, corner kick, red yellow card and the appearance of star players, from the live stream of a football match. Our system has been integrated into live streaming platforms during the 2018 FIFA World Cup and performed fairly well.

Live data in physical memory can be acquired by live forensics but not by harddisk file-system analysis. Therefore, in case of forensic investigation, live forensics is widely used these days. But, existing live forensic methods, that use command line tools in live system, have many weaknesses; for instance, it is not easy to re-analyze and results can be modified by malicious code. For these reasons, in this paper we explain the Windows kernel architecture and how to analyze physical memory dump files to complement weaknesses of traditional live forensics. And then, we design and implement the Physical Memory Dump Explorer, and prove the effectiveness of our tool through test results.

The 765kV transmission line will be maintained by live-line works for efficient operation. In order to maintain the 765kV transmission lines safely by live-line works, lineman has to know switching impulse flashover characteristics of the jumper V-strings with damaged insulators in advance. In order to know the flashover characteristics this paper carried out experimental flashover mockup tests for jumper V-string with damaged insulators in the outdoors. And it suggests flashover characteristics of the 765kV jumper V-strings also. The results will be used in estimating the safety of live working for 765kV transmission lines.

In this study, the physical properties of live garlic at the harvesting season were measured and analyzed as a fundamental study for developing a garlic harvester. A universal testing machine and a machine vision system were used to obtain mechanical and morphological properties of live garlic, respectively. The moisture content of live garlic at the harvesting season was 50% higher than that of dried garlic. The root of live garlic elongated greatly with respect to the applied tensile force. The relationship between the projected area and the weight of a bulb of live garlic was linear. Such a feature would be applied to develop an effective garlic harvester or garlic quality grader. Other useful physical properties of live garlic at the harvesting season were represented in the study.

Recently, Live-Virtual-Constructive (L-V-C) integrate training system has proposed as a solution for the problems such as limitation of training areas, increase of mission complexity, rise in oil prices. In order to integrate each training system into the one effectively, we should solve the issue about stress of pilots by the environmental differences between Live and Virtual simulation which could be occurred when each system is connected together. Although it was already examined in previous study that the psychological effects on pilots was occurred by the environmental differences between actual and simulated flights, the study did not include what the causal factors affecting psychological effects are. The aim of this study is to examine which environmental factors that cause pilots' psychological effects. This study analyzed the biochemical stress hormone, cortisol to measure the pilots' psychological effects and cortisol was measured using Enzyme-linked immunoassay (EIA). A total of 40 pilots participated in the experiment to compare the differences in pilots' cortisol response among live simulation, virtual simulation, and the virtual simulation applying three environmental factors (gravity force, noise, and equipment) respectively. As a result, there were significant differences in cortisol level when applied the gravity force and equipment factors to the virtual simulation, while there was no significant difference in the case of the noise factor. The results from this study can be used as a basis for the future research on how to make L-V system by providing minimum linkage errors and design the virtual simulator that can reduce the differences in the pilots' psychological effects.

Purpose: This study explores the impact of live commerce on consumer purchase intention in the Chinese market. Live commerce, a novel marketing strategy that fuses e-commerce with live streaming, has gained significant popularity in China. The study aims to pinpoint main ways that live commerce increases customers' propensity to make purchases. Research design, data, and methodology: The PRISMA technique was adhered to in the systematic cycle of finding, screening, and selecting publications. Predefined keywords like "live commerce," "live-stream shopping," "consumer purchase intention," and "China" produced a large number of possibly pertinent research in the first search. Results: This study has delved into the profound effects of live commerce on consumer purchase intention, with a specific focus on the dynamic Chinese market. This study has identified four primary outcomes that support the revolutionary potential of live commerce: increased product engagement, significant social influences, dynamic pricing tactics, and the establishment of trust and credibility. Conclusions: Finally, the study provides live commerce practitioners with valuable insights, advising them on maximizing these impacts to increase consumer buy intention. In summary, this study offers helpful information to companies and marketers who want to take advantage of live commerce as a powerful tool for connecting with Chinese customers and increasing sales.
