This paper is on the development of an educational 6-axis articulated manipulator using 4-bar linkage system. Especially, the 2$^{nd}$ and the 3$^{rd}$ axes need large torque to control the movement of an end-effect. However, small motors (RC-servo, DC-gear, stepping meters) are used for the 4-bar linkage. In addition the manipulator can be operated by a switch and also motion can be realized automatically, based on C-language coded users programs..

Since 4-bar linkage widely used in various industrial fields has a fixed link length, it is inconvenient to add an independent link structure or control device to change the movement of output link. Therefore, this paper proposes a new concept of variable 4-bar linkage mechanism to selectively adjust the movement of the output link to fit desired situations, and applied to the commercial table fans, which is a representative product using a 4-bar linkage system. The optimal rotation angle steps for efficiency are determined experimentally and the appropriate lengths of linkage to fit each step are calculated analytically. Changes in the linkage length are implemented by the rotational motion using a grooved cylindrical cam and the feasibility of the proposed variable linkage mechanism is verified through fabrication and measurement. The presented variable link mechanism is expected to improve the efficiency of industrial robots and fuel valve systems.

This reserch was to develop database software in order to handle a lot of clinical nursing data with nursing diagnoses, related factors, defining characteristics, nursing interventions, nursing activities and nursing outcomes. MS Access2000 and SQL was selected to use a general purpose database logic with an efficiency. MS Visual Basic 6.0 was used to construct the circumstance of Graphic User Interface. The Linkage Database of abdominal surgery patients was constructed from the clinical data and questionnaire. This database system could add related factors, defining characteristics, nursing activities in the database and analyze the statistical results through Access query. In the final stage, end-users satisfaction analysis using 5 points Likert scale was dong with the response of using the database system. The accuracy/trustworthiness of the database system was verified with the highest average scores as 4.42 and also, the efficiency as 4.21, user friendly function as 4.1.

This paper addresses an optimization for reducing a steering error of a rack-and-pinion steering linkage with a MacPherson strut independent front suspension system. The length, orientations and inner joint positions of a tie-rod are selected as design variables and Ackerman geonetry, understeer effect, minimum turn radius, wheel alignment and packaging are considered as design constraints. Nonlinear kinematic analysis of the steering system is performed for calculating the values of cost and constraints, and Augmented Lagrange Multiplier(ALM) method is used for solving the constrained optinization problem. The optimization results show that the steering error are considerably reduced while satisfying all the constraints.

There are the national science and technology standard classification system used in Korea, the classification according to the standard classification system for educational organization units, and the Korean standard education classification by the National Statistical Office. It is not suitable for calculation or evaluation, and classification is still mixed depending on the purpose of use. Therefore, in this study, the current status of academic standard classification, issues related to the standard classification system such as research foundation associations and research institutes, and issues related to the academic standard classification through the analysis of existing prior research issues, etc. As a result of the research, first, it is necessary to maintain and strengthen the linkage of the academic classification system, such as maintaining the linkage between the relevant departmental classification systems and strengthening the linkage with the relevant classification system, as a result of analysis of major issues in the academic standard classification system, and the systematic improvement cycle of the revision process and management system and settings are required.

While the national economy has rapidly grown, both insufficience in indirect capital facilities of society and attempt to avoid having a logistical job as one of the so-called dirty, difficult and dangerous jobs have resulted in the leak of labor in the logistical industry. First of all, it was shown that the functional utilization level of the logistical information system had a partial effect on the logistical performance, that the reduction of logistical costs was influenced by the information system of connecting and supporting functions, and that the improvement of customer service was significantly influenced by only the supporting-function system. Second, the logistical performance was partially influenced by the linkage between logistical activities, only the customer linkage had a significant effect on the reduction of logistical costs, and the improvement of customer service was influenced by the intra-company linkage. Third, in verifying a hypothesis that the logistical information system's functional utilization level and organizational structure would interact with each other and have an effect on the logistical performance, it was shown that based on their mutual interaction at a normalized level this center's functional information system had a significant effect on the reduction of logistical costs. Fourth, in testing a hypothesis that both the linkage between logistical activities and logistical organization structure would interact with each other and would have an effect on the logistical performance, it was shown that their interaction at a normalized level was significant concerning only the reduction of logistical costs, while there was I10 its significance in the customer service. In proving a hypothesis that the linkage between logistical activities and logistical strategy patterns would interact with each other and would have an effect on the logistical performance, it was shown in a differentiated, aggressive investment one among variously patterned logistical strategies that the customer linkage had a significant effect on the reduction of logistical costs, and in the improvement of customer service that the supplier linkage had a remarkable impact. It also was shown that in case of the cost reduction and offensive control strategy, the customer linkage had a remarkable effect, and th at in the improvement of customer service the intra-company and customer linkage had a significant effect. In the marketing and customer service strategy, finally, there was no any significant influence while the customer linkage had a significant impact in the improvement of customer service. Accordingly, whether or not individual companies utilize the logistical information system's functional utilization levels well will have an effect on their logistical performance, and how their supply chain management is well-linked will affect their logistical performance.

This study established administrative districts of Myeon based on linkage analysis for Chungwa-myeon, Oksan-myeon, Naesan-myeon and Yanghwa-myeon which have the population of less than 2,000 among 15 Myeons in Buyeo-gun, Chungcheongnam-province. As the result of the analysis, it was analyzed that Chungwa-myeon was the most highly linked with Imcheon-myeon. Oksan-myeon had high linkage with Hongsan-myeon while Naesan-myeon had high linkage with Guryong-myeon. Lastly, it was analyzed that Yanghwa-myeon had high linkage with Chunghwa-myeon and Imcheon-myeon. It can be judged that this result comparatively agrees with the local history and policy of Buyeo-gun. Since the average area of a 'Myeon' is much larger than that of 'Dong', it will be difficult to provide administrative services if they are forced to be consolidated based only on population. Thus, it is necessary to establish standards which consider the population and area simultaneously.

The purpose of this study uses agricultural knowledge system theory to explore how the extension system in South Korea was developed and have worked well. By agricultural knowledge system we emphasized the dynamic networks of actors, processes of negotiation, and the diverse ways in which knowledge is constructed and performed. It was possible that individuals may participate in and utilize multiple knowledge systems. The knowledge systems reflected the idea that the boundaries between knowledge groups were not closed and that there could be considerable overlap between knowledge systems. The constructions of agricultural knowledge systems thus included social interactions, communication, and the diverse processes individuals employ to create, use, and evaluate multiple types and sources of information. As such, there were six priorities to development agricultural extension system; the linkage between agricultural colleges, Rural Development Administration(RDA), branch of RDA, establishing the research institution of research and extension linkage. exchange research agent with extension agent, developing information technology system, bottom-up approach, the linkage between national project and regional within extension projects, enforcement of informal learning.

The purpose of this study is to propose an effective direction of data linkage for building the humanities assets one-stop portal service. For this purpose, We collected and analyzed the actual status of the domestic institution with humanities assets, and presented the linkage direction through analysis of the data held by the target organization. The results of this study are as follows: First, we proposed a classification system of humanities assets based on the reviewing the existing classification system on the subject of humanities assets. Second, we set up the categories of potential data that can be incorporated into humanities assets through a detailed analysis of the subject and type of data held by the subject institutions. Third, we analyzed the platforms of similar case organizations providing one-stop portal services for humanities assets and proposed the applicable meta fields when constructing one-stop system based on similarity.

This study was conducted to identify the linkage and cooperation experiences in public case-management services of visiting health care practitioners. Focus group interviews were conducted with three people in charge of providing visiting healthcare services in public health centers. A semi-structured interview questionnaire was developed in advance through discussions among researchers In response to the interview questions, study participants described in detail the success and failure factors associated with linkage and cooperation that they experienced while providing visiting healthcare services. The interview data were analyzed qualitatively to identify the main themes and sub-themes reflecting visiting nurses' experiences with linkage and cooperation. The three main themes were: 'Guidelines act as positive performance factors for community-based linkage and cooperation', 'Unstable employment and lack of an integrated system act as barriers to linkage and cooperation', and 'Necessary for multidimensional approach to promoting linkage and cooperation'. Based on these results, the authors propose the development of clear linkage and cooperation standards and procedures, thereby ensuring job security for visiting nurses. Moreover, an integrated information system should be developed and implemented.
