  • The Data quality management system(DQMS) organizes and helps manage and process time sequence data usually collected in monitoring networks and programs. DQMS places particular emphasis on data qualify while maintaining a highly organized and convenient structure for data. It operates with in a flexible and powerful commercial relational data base environment which can readily link to other software platforms from local spreadsheets to network server. The Korea Institute of Energy Research(KIER) has been solar radiation data since May, 1991 for 16 different locations. KIER's new data is expected to be extensively used by designer and researchers of solar systems in lieu of unreliable old ones. Unfortunately, the quality of the data has not always been properly mentioned. The purpose of this study is to systematically identify errors in such data set using DQMS in an effort to rehabilitate error-ridden old data. DET successfully uncovered solar radiation data that had questionable quality.

  • As one of YHF digital data link technologies, VDL Mode 2 is designed to be an air-to-ground subnetwork of the Aeronautical Telecommunication Network (ATN) based on the Open System Interconnection (OSI) architecture. VDL Mode 2 can be used in ATS Applications especially for CPDLC and ADS. And it is also expected to replace ACARS (Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System) which has broadly been used in AOC for over 20 years. This paper presents the design result of VDL Mode 2 system under AOA (ACARS Over AVLC) environment for the implementation of bit-oriented ATS applications. The system is composed of airborne and ground subsystem. Airborne subsystem consists of VDR, CMU and an aircraft test equipment with CPDLC/ADS client applications for operational test and ground system consists of Ground Station which includes ground VDR and ground communication controller, simple DSP (Datalink Service Processor) and a ground test equipment with CPDLC/ADS server applications.

  • The existing Europe Standard, EN 50159 with respect of safety of railway signalling communication protocol has been changed into International Standard, IEC 62280. This Standard presents the requirement for safe communication between safety-related devices which connects with transmission system, there are both closed and open transmission system. Regardless of this international Standards, the communication protocol for interface between CTC communication server and external facilities has been standardized several years ago in our country, so this is applied to integrated CTC system in KORAIL. Two Standards are currently standardized as a protocol between CTC and external facilities, these standard protocols are also required high level safety as a communication link which is transmitted vital control information in common with the train control system. For that reason, we have made analysis of requirement for the safe transmission required by international standard. Under this analysis, we have studied safety features of communication protocol applying to our standard. In other words, we have researched that how many the requirement from international standard for safe transmission is reflected in domestic standard protocol, and also whether our standard makes sure of safety enough or not.

  • In this paper, we propose a customer personalized system that presents the web pages to users which are customized to their individuality. It analyzes the action of users who visit the shopping mall, and preferentially supplies the necessary information to them. When they actually buy some items, it forecasts the users' access pattern to web site and their following purchasable items and improves their web pare on the bases of their individuality. It reasons the relation among the web documents and among the items by using the log data of web server and the purchase information of DB. For reasoning it employs Rough Set, which is a method that searches the association rule and offers most suitable cases by reduces cases. It reasons the web pages by considering the users' access pattern and time by using the web log and reasons the users' purchase pattern by using the purchase information of DB. On the basis of the relation among them, it appends the related web pages to link of users' web pages and displays the inferred goods on users' web pages.

  • In a u-City project in Busan, public transportation which is one of ITS has been considered. RFID system embedded with PXA255 chip and middleware capable of communicating a server side was developed. To perform data communication link with traffic card, developed system consists of wireless modules that are wireless LAN (IEEE802.11a/b and IEEE802.16. Using developed RFID system and middleware, it is expected that this system becomes a basic infrastructure to support a service of u-Traffic for u-City construction.

  • Wireless Mesh Network(WMN) is wireless backbone networks technique which has ease of network configuration and cost of advantage. Recently, WNM released a new product, but most of existing research and technology analysis the performance through the simulation. This paper build the wireless mesh network testbed for actual situation. Testbed supports multi-channel multi-interface using bridge, the Wireless Distribution System and dynamic location-based routing protocol. This routing protocol strongly design against wireless interference using metric for link channel change and real distance. Then, the address of mesh clients assigned by the centralized address management server. Mesh clients is designed and implemented to manage network through Simple Network Management Protocol.

  • In this thesis, we intend to use CCTVs installed in existing parking lots to understand the current status of parking lots and provide real-time information to users through Android applications. It describes how to set the ROI in the parking area using YOLO V3 and how to provide the number of vacancies that change in real time through the set ROI, and describes how to link CCTV-server-user using IMAGE ZMQ and FIREBASE. The user can know the real-time situation of the parking lot near the destination before arriving through the application and can come up with various measures accordingly.

  • Artificial intelligence relies on data-driven analysis, and the data processing performance strongly depends on factors such as memory capacity, bandwidth, and latency. Fast and large-capacity memory can be achieved by composing numerous high-performance memory units connected via high-performance interconnects, such as Compute Express Link (CXL). CXL is designed to enable efficient communication between central processing units, memory, accelerators, storage, and other computing resources. By adopting CXL, a composable computing architecture can be implemented, enabling flexible server resource configuration using a pool of computing resources. Thus, manufacturers are actively developing hardware and software solutions to support CXL. We present a survey of the latest software for CXL memory utilization and the most recent CXL memory emulation software. The former supports efficient use of CXL memory, and the latter offers a development environment that allows developers to optimize their software for the hardware architecture before commercial release of CXL memory devices. Furthermore, we review key technologies for improving the performance of both the CXL memory pool and CXL-based composable computing architecture along with various use cases.

  • The Objective of this research was to construct the multimedia database system that was necessary for the education of the practitioners and the students. To establish this system, there were technical problems as follows 1) The processing of the images, 2) The rapid processing of the information with the computer network, 3) The development of diagnosis tools, 4) The technique to establish the database system, 5) The link between the database system and the internet, and 6) The method to educate through many cases. The analysis for diagnosis and treatment planning were provided as two parts : model analysis and cephalometric analysis. As a model analysis, arch length discrepancy and Bolton tooth ratio were provided for the part of patient information. Cephalometric analyses were provided in the part of initial diagnosis. The Cephalometric analysis ver 2.0 and the PowerCeph pro 3.3.5 were used to show Tweed, Steiner and Jarabak analysis. In the main part, Kim's analysis and some measurements were added.   • The existing survey of the actual use relevant transportation, implemented in order to reflect transportation policy, has been performed for users by researcher directly, or thereby analysing the data of particular date-oriented of transportation card business's content so that such method have many problems. To solve such problem, we developed a new system, Interoperable Traffic Information Collection System which include several functions of effective collecting of transportation use-data created from the Nation-wide Interoperable Transportation System, accurate counting and easy inquiry. This system consists of Link-server to collect and count for transportation use-data, DB-server to store for this data and Inquiry terminal to search for the information needed. To verify for developed this system, we run test-bed by connection between this system and the Nation-wide Interoperable Transportation System developed by the KOREA Financial Telecommunications & Clearings, the KORAIL NETWORKS and the HiPlusCard. And through result of test-bed, we proved that Interoperable Traffic Information Collection System practically works well. Thus we can look for systematic reflect of reliable information.
