PHEMT 크기 최적화를 이용한 무선랜용 5 GHz 대역 MMIC 전력증폭기 설계 및 제작 (Design and Fabrication of 5 GHz Band MMIC Power Amplifier for Wireless LAN Applications Using Size Optimization of PHEMTs)

  • 본 논문에서는 게이트 길이 $0.5{\mu}m$의 GaAs PHEMT를 이용하여 5 GHz 대역 무선랜에 사용 가능한 MMIC 2단 전력증폭기를 설계 제작하였다. PHEMT 게이트 폭을 MMIC 전력증폭기에 요구되는 선형성과 PAE(전력부가효율)을 동시에 충족시키기 위하여 최적화하였다. 입력 P1dB로부터 3dB back-off전력에서 25dBc이상의 IMD와 공급전압 3.3V에서 22dBm 이상의 출력을 얻기 위하여 $0.5{\mu}m\times600{\mu}m$크기의 구동단 PHEMT와 $0.5{\mu}m\times3000{\mu}m$ 크기의 증폭단 PHEMT를 사용하였다. 2단 MMIC 전력증폭기는 광대역 특성으로 HIPERLAN/2와 IEE802.11a에서 사용할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 제작된 PHEMT MMIC 전력증폭기는 3.3V에서 동작할 때 최대 20.1dB의 선형 이득과 22dBm의 최대 출력전력, 24%의 PAE을 보여주며, 입력과 출력 정합회로를 온 칩으로 설계한 전력증폭기의 칩 크기는 $1400\times1200{\mu}m^2$이다.

PMP 형상 측정법의 열 변위 보정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Compensation of Thermal Errors for Phase Measuring Profilometry)

  • 삼차원 형상 측정 기술은 다양한 산업에서 활용하고 있는 기술이다. 그 중, 광 삼각법에 기초한 광학식 삼차원 형상 측정 기술들은 매일 공장에서 오랜 시간 동안 대량의 삼차원 형상 측정을 하고, 미세한 측정 또한 요구되는 반도체 생산품 검사 분야에서 주로 사용된다. 이러한 광 삼각법 기반의 삼차원 측정 장비들의 구성 요소인 광원과 구동 회로는 장시간 작동하게 되면 발열이 나타나게 되고 장시간 작동하며 주변의 온도가 일정하지 않은 상황에 노출되기도 하여 온도로 인한 측정 오차가 발생하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 장시간 반복해서 사용하는 PMP(Phase Measuring Profilometry) 형상 측정법에서의 열 변위 보정에 관한 방법을 제안하였다. PMP 형상 측정법 기반의 삼차원 형상 측정 장치를 구현하여 10시간에 걸쳐 물체의 높이와 주변 온도를 측정하는 실험을 진행하였고, 측정된 온도와 높이 값을 이용하여 단순 선형 회귀 분석을 하여 회귀직선을 얻었다. 이 회귀직선을 이용하여 온도에 따른 높이 측정값의 오차를 보정하게 되면 정상적인 측정값에서의 오차 값이 139.88 um(Micrometer) 에서 13.12 um로 보정되는 것을 확인하였다.

데이터마이닝 기법을 활용한 대학수학능력시험 영어영역 정답률 예측 및 주요 요인 분석 (Prediction of Correct Answer Rate and Identification of Significant Factors for CSAT English Test Based on Data Mining Techniques)

  • 대학수학능력시험(수능)은 고등학교 3년간의 학업 성취도를 측정하는 대표적인 평가 도구로서 대한민국 대학 입시에 있어 매우 중요한 역할을 하는 시험이다. 응시생들의 학업 성취도를 효과적으로 평가하기 위해서는 수능의 난이도가 적절하게 조절되어야 하나 지금까지는 수능 난이도의 편차가 매우 크게 나타나 매 입시연도마다 여러 가지 문제점을 야기해왔다. 본 연구에서는 전문가의 판단에 의존한 기존 방식에서 벗어나 지금까지 시행된 모의고사 및 실제 시험을 통해 축적된 자료를 바탕으로 데이터마이닝 기법을 적용하여 영어영역 문제의 난이도를 예측하는 모델을 구축하고 난이도 예측에 영향을 미치는 요소를 판별하고자 한다. 이를 위해 각 문항의 특성을 판별할 수 있는 여러 지표와 함께 지문, 문제, 답안 등에 나타난 단어들의 특징을 토픽 모델링(topic modeling) 기법을 이용하여 정량화하고 이를 바탕으로 선형회귀분석 및 의사결정나무 기법을 이용하여 각 문항의 난이도를 예측하는 모델을 구축하였다. 구축된 예측 모델을 실제 문제에 적용한 결과 난이도의 상/하 구분에 대한 예측 정확도는 90% 수준으로 나타났으며, 실제 정답률 대비 오차 비율은 약 16% 이내인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 배점 및 문제 유형이 문제의 난이도에 큰 영향을 미치며 지문이 특정 주제에 관련된 경우에도 난이도에 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 방법론을 이용하여 영어영역 각 문제들에 대한 기대 정답률의 범위를 추정할 수 있으며 이를 종합하여 영어영역 전체 문제에 대한 정답률 예측을 통해 적절한 난이도의 문제를 출제하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

제주도 첨정석 페리도타이트 포획암의 조직 및 지화학적 특성과 그 관련성 (Textural and Geochemical Characteristics and their Relation of Spinel Peridotite Xenoliths from Jeju Island)

  • 제주도 현무암에 포획된 첨정석 레졸라이트 포획암은 비교적 뚜렷하게 구별되는 세 종류의 조직으로 산출된다. 즉, 조립질의 프로토그라뉼라 조직, 쌍봉의 입자분포를 보이는 포피로클라스틱 조직, 그리고 세립질의 입자들이 신장되어 엽리를 보이는 마일로니틱 조직의 포획암으로 구별된다. 이들 조직은 프로토그라뉼라에서 포피로클라스틱, 마일로니틱 조직으로 가면서 입자크기는 점점 감소하고, 입자의 경계는 더욱 직선화되며, 삼중점이 더 빈번하게 산출되는 경향을 보인다. 특히 포피로클라스틱 및 마일로니틱 조직의 포획암은 킹크밴드를 가지는 거정의 반상쇄정(2-3 mm) 사이에 변형의 흔적이 없는 세립질의 입자($200-300\;{\mu}m$)로 구성되어 있으며, 반상쇄정 내 용리엽리가 구부러져 있는 조직적 특징을 보인다. 또한 프로토그라뉼라 조직에서 첨정석은 사방휘석과 항상 같이 접촉되어 산출되지만 마일로니틱 조직에서는 사방휘석과 관계없이 단독으로 뿌려져 산출되는 특성을 보인다. 이러한 조직적 특성은 포획암이 특정한 편압 하에서 동력재결정작용과 열에 의한 정적재결정작용을 경험하였음을 반영하고 있다. 첨정석 레졸라이트 포획암을 구성하고 있는 감람석, 사방휘석, 단사휘석의 mg#[$=100{\times}Mg/(Mg+Fe_t)$]는 입자의 크기나 조직적 차이와는 상관없이 거의 일정하다(Ol: 88-91, Opx: 89-92, Cpx: 90-92). mg#의 값, 감람석의 NiO (0.3~0.4 wt%)와 MnO (0.1~0.2 wt%)의 조성은 세계 다른 곳의 맨틀 레졸라이트 포획암내 감람석의 값과 유사하며, 20~25%의 부분용융을 경험한 잔류맨틀임을 나타내고 있다. 미량원소 및 희토류원소 조성은 주성분원소 조성에 비해 프로토그라뉼라, 포피로클라스틱, 마일로니틱 조직 사이에 좀 더 뚜렷한 차이를 보여주면서 미량원소 조성과 조직적 특성사이에 밀접한 관련성이 있음을 나타내고 있다. 첨정석 레졸라이트 포획암의 단사휘석과 사방휘석의 미량원소 및 희토류원소함량은 프로토그라뉼라에서 마일로니틱 조직으로 갈수록 증가하고 있으며, 특히 LREE와 불호정성이 큰 미량 원소일수록 현저하게 증가하는 경향을 나타낸다. 이는 첨정석 레졸라이트 포획암이 부분용융을 경험한 이후 LREE가 부화된 멜트 또는 유체에 의한 교대작용을 받았으며, 변형사건과 교대작용사이에 밀접한 관련성이 있음을 의미한다. 노두에서 관찰되는 조직의 상대적 산출비율이 이들 포획암이 기원된 상부맨틀에서의 상대적 산출비율이라고 가정한다면, 포피로클라스틱 및 마일로니틱 조직을 발달시킨 변형사건은 비교적 좁은 전단대 지역에 한정되었을 것으로 제시된다. 이러한 전단대는 제주도 아래 암석권질 상부맨틀에서 LREE가 부화된 멜트 또는 유체가 침투하기에 용이한 환경을 형성하였을 것이다. 마일로니틱 조직에서 더욱 현저하게 나타나는 미량원소부화특성은 입자의 크기가 작아지고 변형의 강도가 높을수록 멜트 또는 유체의 침투가 더욱 용이했기 때문일 것으로 해석된다.

호흡동조 방사선치료용 팬텀의 제작 및 유용성 평가 (Production and Assessing Usefulness of the Moving Phantom for Respiration Gated Radiotherapy)

  • 목 적: 호흡동조 방사선치료용 팬텀 제작을 통해 실시간움직임관리(RPM, Real-time Position Management)에 의한 치료시 호흡에 따른 방사선 조사선량의 적절성을 평가 하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: 호흡동조 팬텀은 선형 액츄에이터(SCN6-050-50, Dyadic, Japan) 2개, 아크릴판, 지지대, 철판 등으로 팬텀위에 측정 대상을 위치시켜 구동 가능(상 하, 전 후)하도록 제작하였다. 4D CT를 촬영해 환자의 호흡을 분석하여 컴퓨터를 통해 팬텀의 위치와 속도를 제어하여 움직임을 재현하였다. 호흡동조 팬텀위에 2D-Array (PTW)와 4.5 cm의 팬텀(White water 4.5 cm)을 위치하여 21 EX 15 MV X선을 100 Mu, 조사야 $10{\times}10\;cm$의 open field와 2 cm 간격으로 10 cm까지 정방형으로 움직이는 Sliding MLC (DMLC)를 Gantry $0^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$에서 팬텀을 (1) 움직이지 않은 경우 (2) 움직인 경우 (3) RPM을 이용하여 동조한 경우(30%)로 나누어 조사하였다. 7.5 cm의 팬텀에 0.125 CC 이온화전리함(PTW)을 위치하여 위와 같은 조건으로 측정하였다. 결 과: 이온화전리함에 의한 중심선량 측정값은 Gantry $90^{\circ}$, $10{\times}10\;cm$ 조사야와 DMLC을 이용한 조사에서 동조시 0.3%이내, 비동조시 약 2%의 오차가 있었다. 2D-Array를 통한 분석시 Gamma index Method (3 mm, 3%)를 적용한 경우 Gantry $90^{\circ}$, $10{\times}10\;cm$ 조사야와 DMLC을 이용한 조사에서 동조시 오차이내, 비동조시 전체 조사야의 약 16% 오차를 보였다. 결 론: 호흡동조 방사선치료용 팬텀의 자체 제작으로 환자 움직임에 의한 치료계획과 방사선 측정으로 인하여 치료시 실제 조사되는 방사선량의 정량적 분석이 가능하였으며, IMRT 환자의 RPM을 이용한 호흡동조 치료시 적절한 평가가 가능하였다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. To synthesize microspheres for biomedical application, "two stage shot growth method" was developed. The uniformity ratio of synthesized microspheres was always smaller than 1.05. And the surface charge density (or the number of ionizable functional groups) of the microspheres synthesized by "two stage shot growth method" was 6~13 times higher than that of the microspheres synthesized by conventional seeded batch copolymerization. As a previous step for biomedical application, adsorption experiments of bovine albumin on microspheres were carried out under various conditions. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. We propose a simple adaptive algorithm to increase capability of noise cancelation in QRS complex detection with two stage adaptive filter. The frame and leaflet of the polymer valve were made from polyurethane, To evaluate the hemodynamic performance of the polymer valve a comparative study of flow dynamics past a polymer valve and a St. Jude Medical prosthetic valve under physiological pulsatile flow conditions in vitro was made. Comparisons between the valves were made on the transvalvular pressure drop, regurgitation volume and maximum valve opening area. The polymer valve showed smaller regurgitation volume and transvalvular pressure drop compared to the mechanical valve at higher heart rate.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N.
