가변구조제어에 의한 조준경 고각 안정화 (Stabilization of elevation for gunner primary sight using variable structure control)

  • Gunner primary sight(GPS) stabilization system lays line of sight(LOS) to find out a target and transmits informations to the fire control system (FCS). In a moving vehicle, accuracy of LOS and FCS depends on the design of GPS and servomechanism system. The heavy vibration of vehicle on the severe off-road environment degenerates the stabilization capability of GPS. In this study, to stabilize of elevation for GPS using the variable structure control, we derived the dynamic equation of GPS system and designed the variable structure controller. Computer simulation results fulfilled the static and dynamic stability of GPS using the variable structure control.

  • This paper suggests LOS(Line-Of-Sight) guidance system of a surface vessel in straight-line navigation under ocean currents An LOS vector from the vessel to a point on the path between two way-points is decided and a heading angle is calculated to converge to follow the desired path based on the LOS vector This guidance system is called LOS guidance system. The suggested LOS guidance law has parameters to be properly chosen according to navigational environment. Parameters of LOS guidance system are optimized to reduce propulsive energy and/or position error between desired Position and present position of a ship using genetic algorithm which is a strong optimization algorithm with adaptational random search The effectiveness of the suggested LOS guidance system is assured through computer simulations.

  • Stabilization performance of a sight stabilization system can be improved by proper selection of control algorithm and mechanism. In that aspect, in this paper, effects of an inertia balancer are studied. Parameters of the inertia balancer were obtained from the governing equation by assuming there is no external force and friction. Simulation and experimental results show that the inertia balancer contributes significantly to the stabilization of the line of sight(LOS). In particular, it was found that the inertia balancer is more effective as frequency of the disturbance increases.

  • 본 논문에서는 이기종 통신 기반의 스마트 조명의 선택적 알고리즘을 제안한다. 스마트 조명은 조명의 역할뿐만 아니라 통신의 역할을 동시에 수행한다. 이기종 통신을 이용한 스마트 조명의 BER 성능을 높이기 위해, Line-of-Sight(LOS)/Non-LOS 채널에서 스마트 조명과 센서와의 거리, 조명사용시간, 사용자 요구를 위한 낮은 전력소모량에 따라 Optical Camera Communication(OCC), Wi-Fi, BLE 중 적합한 통신방식을 선택하도록 하였다. 그리하여 LOS/NLOS 채널에서 제안된 알고리즘의 성능과 기존의 방식과의 시뮬레이션 결과 비교를 통해 성능 향상을 확인하였다.

  • 해상용 RFID의 탐지 가능한 거리를 조사하기 위하여 프레넬 영역(fresnel zone)에서 가시선(Line Of Sight, LOS) 범위에 대한 이론적인 전파모드를 고찰하였다. 지구곡면에 대한 LOS의 구조적 모델을 제시하고, 전파 모드 이론과 특정 주파수에 대한 수평거리 계산 방법을 고찰하였다. 연구결과, 희망 탐지거리 확보를 위한 송수신기 안테나 높이와 기상환경에 의한 탐지거리의 영향 등에 대한 이론적 분석이 가능하였다.

  • With the development of ICT(Information and Communication Technology), the number of smart devices is rapidly increasing. LBS(Location Based Service) applications that provide user's location based service are used in various fields. There is also a growing demand for indoor precision positioning technology to provide seamless services. In this paper, we propose an indoor positioning system that estimates the location of a smartphone user. The proposed algorithm determines whether the received signal is LOS(Line-of-Sight) or NLOS(Non-Line of-Sight) in order to decrease multipath effect by the indoor environment. The proposed positioning algorithm is very simple and requires only the AP(Access Point) coordinates. In addition, it requires only two APs for estimating the location of a smartphone user. The proposed algorithm is a practically applicable technology without any additional hardware and kernel modification in the smartphone. In the experiment results, the reliability of the positioning system was found to be within 0.83 m.

선박의 항로추종을 위한 LOS 가이던스 시스템의 제안 (A Proposal of an LOS Guidance System of a Ship for Path Following)

  • This paper proposes an LOS(line-of-sight) guidance system of a ship for path following. From the viewpoint of a control configuration, guidance is a special type of compensation algorithm that is placed in front of the controller to accomplish navigational objects. A guidance system generates a reference trajectory for trajectory tracking or path control and decides the desired velocity, position and heading angle. A control system executes commands based on a reliable guidance law during navigation. An LOS vector from the vessel to a point on the path between two way-points in straight-line navigation or a point among turning circle in turning navigation is selected, and then a heading angle is calculated to converge the desired path based on the LOS vector. The LOS guidance law is defined for the straight-line and the turning circle, respectively. The effectiveness of the suggested LOS guidance system is assured through computer simulation.

사용자 위치 기반의 VLC 채널 모델 도출에 관한 연구 (A Study of VLC Channel Modeling using user Location Environment)

  • 본 논문에서는 실내 환경에서 LED(Light Emitting Diode)를 이용한 가시광 통신(VLC : Visible Light Communication) 채널의 특성을 모델링 및 분석하였다. LED에서 방사된 광 입자(Photon)의 일부는 직접(LOS : Line Of Sight) 또는 반사(NLOS : None Line Of Sight)의 경로를 거쳐서 PD(PhotoDiode)에 도달하며, 이것은 수신 부에서 시간 지연(delay profile)과 감쇠(attenuation)를 가진 다중 수신 신호 특성을 나타낸다. 가로, 세로, 높이의 크기가 20*8*2.3m로 가정된 실내 환경에서 2개의 LED와 3개의 PD를 사용하여, 각 PD에서 직접파, 반사파에 의한 채널 특성을 컴퓨터 모의실험하고 분석하였다. 채널 모델별 특성은 BPSK 기반의 통신 모의실험을 통하여 그 유용성을 입증하였다.

  • SPWPM traditional software development is surveyed and essential problems are investigated on the basis of system wireless link considerations. This paper presents the current state software planning tools for wireless LAN link optimization. The software directory is based on combination of MatLab and MapInfo software and measurement which gives the best grouping parameters to build up the software development. Among the requirements assumed, the WLAN site selections must be Line-of-sight (LOS) or near line of sight (NLOS) field strength prediction for either point to point or point to multi points. The results obtainable the out put of the program include two-dimensional (2D) and three dimensional (3D) plots for creating the link; design parameters through GUI representing the height and location for each antenna is depending on K-factor of the area and transmit antenna location.
