It has been issued that the necessity of Live line work for 765kV vertical double circuit six bundle conductors transmission line when the characteristics of transmission line, the composition of T/L and near the T/L circumstances etc. Others are considered. The Barehand method of UHV T/L is extremely dangerous work and especially it is directly related with lineman life so it is very dangerous. It should be performed several technology developments for live-line work on the UHV T/L, that should be considered such as the electrical influence on workers near the T/L, development of live-line facilities, guarantee of safety, the technical rules of live-line work, the safe method of live-line work and etc. In order to maintain the 765kV transmission lines safely by barehand work, first of all, we should know the analysis of electrical safety level test in live-line work at 765kV vertical double circuit six bundle conductors on the suspension string tower type.

Today, natural ventilation systems are widely applied in multi-family housing. However, studies using the wind data trend line of the blower door test are insufficient. Purpose: Through this study, we will propose a computational method about ventilation performance of natural ventilation systems by conducting blower door test. Method: First, we sealed the gaps between the main systems including the natural ventilation system and conducted the blower door test. Next, the natural ventilation system was opened, the blower door test was conducted, and the difference in air flow rate between when closed and when opened was checked. Blower door test was carried out with a pressure difference of 50 Pa. Result: Therefore, the ventilation performance of the natural ventilation system was checked by drawing a trend line using the data to calculate the air flow rate at 2 Pa of the natural ventilation equipment standard pressure difference.

The suspension insulators are subjected to harsh environments in service for a long time. The long-term reliability of tile insulators is required for both mechanical and electrical performances. This study describes some basic performance tests and accelerated aging test by cool-heat cycling methods and thermal mechanical performance test methods on alumina porcelain insulators (new and aged) used for transmission line in KOREA. There was no fail in electrical and mechanical performance tests such as a high voltage strength, a flashover voltage, and an impact strength in all samples. But in the case of accelerating aging tests which have above 9$0^{\circ}C$ temperature gradient, fracture phenomena was happened by a thermal shock in tile aged sample(sample A) with low alumina porcelain body. It was indicated that sample A was more severely aged than other samples. According to results of HRB test and microstructural analysis, it was reasoned that insulator bodies with the matrix reinforced with alumina crystalline phase have advantages over the suppression of crack advance. And cool-heat aging and mechanical thermal ageing tests shows that a temperature gradient is more effective to accelerating than a cycling number.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of gasoline fuel to the LPI engine. Firing test bench was used in order to assess the effect on gasoline-injected LPI engine. Gasoline fuel was supplied into the reverse direction(3-4-2-1 cylinder) at 3.0 bar with commercial gasoline fuel pump. Engine test was performed using the firing test mode at end of line. The deviations of excess air ratio of each cylinder and maximum combustion pressure using gasoline fuel were within 0.1 and $1{\sim}2\;bar$. Engine start time was measured with changing coolant temperature at $20^{\circ}C,\;40^{\circ}C,\;80^{\circ}C$, respectively. Residual gasoline volume in the fuel line was measured about 32 cc after firing test and it was less than 2 cc within 10 seconds purging. To simulate the end of line, the residual gasoline in the fuel line was purged during 5 and 10 seconds. Start time of LPI engine with LPG fuel were 0.61 and 0.58 seconds. This work showed that severe problems such as misfiring and liner scuffing were not occurred applying gasoline fuel to LPI engine.
Korean High Speed Train (KHST) has been tested on high speed line in JungBu site since it was developed in 2002. The data acquisition system was used to test successfully the on-line test for proving the dynamic performance of KHST. The recognition of system vibration mode for railway vehicle is essential to understand the characteristics of design for dynamic system and diagnose the dynamic problems of vehicle system during test and operation. But, up to now, there are the efforts to know the system vibration mode within limit of theoretical field only, not experimental approach with systematic method. The theoretical results are too reliable to apply to real design problem, because it is theoretically based on the homogeneous linear system although the real system have the nonlinear characteristics and vary the environmental conditions. Therefor, in this paper, it is proposed the efficient method of vibration analysis for rail vehicle system and this method apply to KHST to recognize the vibration mode characteristics of it. The results show that this method is able to make the system vibration modes for KHST clear.
In the electrical railway, for the improvement of a train speed, it is necessary to study not only the dynamic behaviors of overhead catenary system but the fatigue behaviors of components for a safety assurance according to the increase of vibration level. One of the critical components in the system is a dropper. Therefore, the dynamic force acting on a dropper was measured in the Chungbuk Line and analyzed to figure out the dynamic characteristics the dropper. And in order to assure the safety of dropper clamp and cable, we proposed a test facility as well as test method based on the test results For the further study, we will measure the dynamic forces in the conventional line and high-speed line and make up the test condition, so that the safety of dropper clamps can be assured.
This paper proposes a method for improving efficiency of high-voltage motors off-line insulation diagnostic test. The conventional manual test method has measurement errors and excessive processing time. We developed the KITAS system and solved these problems by using the instrument remote control and communication technology. The result of proficiency testing by interlaboratory comparisons using Power Factor Tip-Up test was '${\mid}E_n{\mid}$ < 1'. It was possible to confirm the validity of acquired data from the KITAS and establish a remote diagnostic system for easy access without physical limitations.
As the density of memories increases, unwanted interference between cells and the coupling noise between bit-lines become significant, requiring parallel testing. Testing high-density memories for a high degree of fault coverage requires either a relatively large number of test vectors or a significant amount of additional test circuitry. This paper proposes a new tiling method and an efficient built-in self-test (BIST) algorithm for neighborhood pattern-sensitive faults (NPSFs) and new neighborhood bit-line sensitive faults (NBLSFs). Instead of the conventional five-cell and nine-cell physical neighborhood layouts to test memory cells, a four-cell layout is utilized. This four-cell layout needs smaller test vectors, provides easier hardware implementation, and is more appropriate for both NPSFs and NBLSFs detection. A CMOS column decoder and the parallel comparator proposed by P. Mazumder are modified to implement the test procedure. Consequently, these reduce the number of transistors used for a BIST circuit. Also, we present algorithm properties such as the capability to detect stuck-at faults, transition faults, conventional pattern-sensitive faults, and neighborhood bit-line sensitive faults.
To improve safety analysis technology for a nuclear reactor containment considering an interaction between a reactor coolant system (RCS) and containment, this study aims at an experimental investigation on the integrated simulation of the RCS and containment, with an integral effect test facility, ATLAS-CUBE. For a realistic simulation of a pressure and temperature (P/T) transient, the containment simulation vessel was designed to preserve a volumetric scale equivalently to the RCS volume scale of ATLAS. Three test cases for a steam line break (SLB) transient were conducted with variation of the initial condition of the passive heat sink or the steam flow direction. The test results indicated a stratified behavior of the steam-gas mixture in the containment following a high-temperature steam injection in prior to the spray injection. The test case with a reduced heat transfer on the passive heat sink showed a faster increase of the P/T inside the containment. The effect of the steam flow direction was also investigated with respect to a multi-dimensional distribution of the local heat transfer on the passive heat sink. The integral effect test data obtained in this study will contribute to validating the evaluation methodology for mass and energy (M/E) and P/T transient of the containment.
