  • The towfish oi a side scan sonar is an equipment that search images of the bottom surface of the sea in real time. It is a typical equipment that is related to a sea investigation such as a geological survey, seabed communication cable and power line cable placing repair investigation, fish breeding ground investigation, sea purification, relic and mineral investigation, and mine and submarine search. It used to find objects and Investigate on the seabed surface. But, recently, it is used to sea purification and geological survey that require information of the correct surface of the seabed. So, it needs various filtering technique and image processing techniques development to acquire high resolution image. Therefore, this research develops a side scan sonar using multi-beam sensors that supply various information with the fast scan speed and correct high resolution that is not a simple underwater investigation equipment.

저자장 자기공명영상시스템에서 선주사확산강조영상기법 개발 (Development of the Line Scan Diffusion Weighted Imaging at Low Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging System)

  • 0.32 T 자기공명영상시스템에서 선주사영상기법(line scan imaging)을 이용한 확산강조영상(diffusion weighted imaging; DWI) 펄스열(pulse sequence)을 개발하였다. 선주사영상은 단면선택 경사자장과 함께 90도 펄스를 가하여 단면을 선택한 후 y 방향으로 경사자장을 가한 후 180도 라디오파 펄스를 가하여 단면영상의 y-방향 픽셀크기와 같은 너비의 x축에 평행한 띠를 따라 에코가 발생하게 한 뒤 x-방향으로 주파수부호화해서 1차원 k-공간 데이터를 획득하며 이를 1차원 푸리에변환하여 영상을 재구성하였다. 또한 선주사확산강조영상(line scan diffusion weighted image)을 위해서 한 쌍의 사다리꼴모양의 경사자장을 선주사영상기법의 180도 펄스 전후에 대칭으로 배치하였으며 사용된 확산경사자장기울기의 최대값은 G = 15 mT/m 이었고 최대 b 값은 $301.50s/mm^2$이었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 선주사확산강조펄스열을 이용하여 0.32 T 자기공명영상 장비에서 트리아실글리세롤 팬텀(triacylglycerol, TAG) 및 염화나트륨 수용액 (NaCl = 0.1w/v%) 팬텀 영상을 획득하였다. 또한 1.5 T 자기공명영상시스템에서 단일여기에코평면영상화(single shot echo planar imaging)로 동일한 팬텀의 확산강조영상을 구하였다. 선주사확산강조영상은 가장 널리 이용되고 있는 에코평면영상을 이용한 확산강조영상과 비교하여 자화율차이에 의한 영상왜곡이나 화학이동에 의한 허상들이 없음을 확인하였다. 특히 선주사확산강조영상에서 측정한 염화나트륨 수용액 팬텀의 확산계수($963.90{\pm}79.83{\times}10^{-6}mm^2/s$)는 1.5 T에서 계산된 확산계수($956.77{\pm}4.12{\times}10^{-6}mm^2/s$)와 오차범위 내에서 일치하였다.

  • Roll to roll (R2R) manufacturing process, also known as 'web processing', has been tried for producing electronic devices on a flexible plastic or metal foil. To increase the performance and productivity the R2R process, effective control and on-line supervision for web quality becomes very important. Wrinkle is one of the defects, which is incurred due to compressive stresses. A system for on-line measurement of wrinkle is developed using area scan camera and machine vision laser. The 2D image, obtained by area scan camera, is produced by Gaussian regression method to characterize the wrinkle on a transparent web. The experiment proves that 0.3mm wrinkle height can be measured successfully with 74fps.

  • A Plate type pipe is used for heat exchange in radiator of a vehicle. The pipe has several rooms through which water flows and heat is dissipated into outside . In the case that there are small holes, cracks or some scratches on the plate, the radiators lost their functions due to Leakage. This may result in overheating of engine in a car. Thus, we need to perform the entire inspection of the plate type pipe in advance before assembling the radiator. In manufacturing process of the plate type pipe, the productive speed is very high and that may be performed continuously. So, there is no room to perform the outlook inspection by typical image processing techniques. This paper proposes a new method to inspect the outlook surface of the plate type pipe automatically with high speed. Especially, the sequential processing technique of an algorithm which detects defects on the surfaces of the plate type pipe is proposed for line scan camera which captures line image. To evaluate the inspection performance, a series of experiments is performed.

Color Line Scan Camera를 위한 고속 신호처리 하드웨어 시스템 구현 (Implementation of the high speed signal processing hardware system for Color Line Scan Camera)

  • 본 논문에서는 FPGA와 Nor-Flash를 사용하여 컬러 라인 스캔 카메라를 위한 고속 신호처리 하드웨어 시스템을 구현하였다. 기존의 시스템에서는 소프트웨어를 기반으로 한 고속 DSP가 적용되어 왔고 주로 RGB 개별 논리에 의해 결함을 검출하는 방법이었지만 본 논문에서는 RGB-HSL 변환기, FIFO, HSL 풀-컬러 결함 디코더 및 이미지 프레임 버퍼로 구성된 하드웨어 기반의 결함 검출기를 제안하였다. 결함 검출기는 RGB에서 HSL로의 색상 공간 변환을 위한 하드웨어 기반 룩업테이블과 4K HSL 풀-컬러 결함 디코더로 구성되어 있다. 또한 단일 라인 데이터 기반의 로컬 픽셀 처리 대신 2차원 배열 구조의 이미지 단위 처리를 위해 라인 데이터 축적용 이미지 프레임을 포함한다. 설계된 시스템을 기존의 곡물 선별기에 적용하여 땅콩을 대상으로 선별해 본 결과 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

Application Two-Dimensional Pattern Development of Cycling Tights based on the Three-Dimensional Body Scan Data of High School Male Cyclist

  • This study develops an optimal two-dimensional (2D) pattern from three-dimensional human scan data by considering the cycling posture and dermatome of high school male cyclists. By analyzing the body surface change in the cycling posture and considering the dermatome of the lower limbs, the optimal cutting line setting and the development of cycling tights for individual cyclists were presented to provide data that could be used in the clothing industry. We designed three cycling tights to solve the size unsuitability. 3D design 1 is a non-extension design based on the analysis of the 3D human body scan data, in which parts were connected diagonally from the front of the knee to the back of the knee. 3D design 2 removed both the front and back to reduce air resistance during cycling. 3D design 3 did not have a cutting line on the front panel because of the air resistance during cycling in the front area. We analyzed the garment pressure for 8 points of lower body and performed a subjective evaluation of the 3D designed tights and the current cycling tights. The 3D design 1 in this study was well received in the omphalion, thigh, and hip area, while 3D design 3 was well received in the omphalion, thigh, hip, and bottom bands. Therefore, the LoNE of 3D design 1 was applied to the front, and the hip cutting line of 3D design 3 was applied to the back.

인터레이스드 스캔방식 디지털 카메라의 떨림에 의한 영상블러 제거 (Deblurring of the Blurred Image Caused by the Vibration of the Interlaced Scan Type Digital Camera)

  • 인터레이스 방식의 카메라가로부터 사진을 촬영시, 카메라가 움직인다면, 짝수와 홀수라인의 두 영상의 불인치인 블러가 발생한다. 본 논문은 인터레이스 방식의 카메라의 떨림에 의한 짝수와 홀수라인 영상간의 불일치를 제거하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 블러된 원 영상을 짝수라인과 홀수라인 영상으로 분리한다. 분리된 각 영상을 보간법을 이용하여 원 영상 크기의 영상을 생성한다. 만약 보간된 영상간의 큰 차이가 발생하면, 사진 촬영시 카메라가 움직인 경우이다 이 경우에는, 특징점 추출 및 정합, sub-pixel정합, 오류 정합된 광류제거, 영상모자이크를 통하여 불리된 두 영상으로부터 블러가 제거된 영상을 취득하는 것이다. 본 논문은 제안한 알고리즘이 카메라의 다양한 움직임의 영향으로 블러된 영상에서 선명한 영상을 생성 할 수 있음을 보였다.

골프 스윙 자세의 체표면 변화 특성을 반영한 셔츠 패턴 설계 연구 (A Study of Shirts' Patternmaking Based on 3D Body Surface Changes in Golf Swing Postures)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a shirt pattern that enhances the functionality of golf swing motions. The pattern was made with 3D body surface shape data that changed according to dynamic golf postures. The data were collected from the golf swing motions. The 3D body surface data in golf swing postures piled up on the 3D surface data in a static posture. The results showed that the surface shape data changed more in the address, back swing, and finish postures than the other swing postures. The experimental pattern was developed with 3D surface scan data in those three golf swing motions. The pattern had raglan sleeves and the front-bodied piece was divided into two pieces with a princess line, which comes from armscye line of the address posture. The back bodice piece was divided into three pieces with a yoke line and a back princess line. The yoke line was made by back shoulder shape in the back swing posture. The level of comfort of the experimental garment and commercial golf shirts was evaluated by 38 women golfers. The experimental garment pattern was evaluated to be more comfortable in golf swing postures than commercial golf shirts.

전폐절제술시 폐관류스캔을 이용한 폐기능의 예측에 대한 평가 (Evaluation of the Predictive Pulmonary Function after Pneumonectomy Using Perfusion Lung Scan)

  • Surgical resection of lung cancer or other disease is recently required in patients with severely impaired lung function resulting from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or disease extension. So prediction of pulmonary function after lung resection is very important in thoracic surgeon. We studied the accuracy of the prediction of postoperative pulmonary function using perfusion lung scan with 99m technetium macroaggregated albumin in 22 patients who received the pneumonectomy. The linear regression line derived from correlation between predicting[X and postoperative measured[Y values of FEV1 and FVC in patients are as follows: 1 Y[ml =0.713X + 381 in FEV1 [r=0.719 ,[P<0.01 2 Y[ml =0.645X + 556 in FVC [r=0.675 ,[P<0.01 In conclusion,the perfusion lung scan is noninvasive and very accurate for predicting postpneumonectomy pulmonary function.

남성 체형별 인대의 3차원 형상 데이터와 칼라 패턴 개발 (Development of 2D Tight-fitting Collar Pattern from 3D Scan Data of Various Types of Men's Dressform)

  • The pattern making of the tight-fitting collars which often used in diving suits, dance wear, or cycle wear has not been fully established. To develop tight-fitting collar pattern directly from 3D images from the representative somatotypes, dressforms developed by Jaeun Jung were used. The 3D scan data of the four male dressforms were obtained using Exyma-1200. Triangle Simplification and the Runge-Kutta method were applied to reduce the 3D scan data points and to make the segmented triangular patches in a plane from 3D data. As results, apparent differences between the tight-fitting collar patterns obtained from the 3D scan data and the ordinary 2D collar patterns were found around the center back line. The curvatures of the center back line were higher in all types of the tight-fitting collar than in the ordinary collar pattern. Relative differences in the shape of collar lines among four representative Korean men were reported. To fit the curved shape of the back neckline, 1.8 cm should be reduced from the upper neckline in average. We suggested the direct pattern making method for the 2D tight-fitting collar patterns considering the 3D shape of various types of men's dressform.
