유한요소법을 이용한 축대칭 구조물의 비선형 거동해석 (Analyses of Non-linear Behavior of Axisymmetric Structure by Finite Element Method)

  • A finite element method is programmed to analyse the nonlinear behavior of axisymmetric structures. The lst order Mindlin shell theory which takes into account the transversal shear deformation is used to formulate a conical two node element with six degrees of freedom. To evade the shear locking phenomenon which arises in Mindlin type element when the effect of shear deformation tends to zero, the reduced integration of one point Gauss Quadrature at the center of element is employed. This method is the Updated Lagrangian formulation which refers the variables to the state of the most recent iteration. The solution is searched by Newton-Raphson iteration method. The tangent matrix of this method is obtained by a finite difference method by perturbating the degrees of freedom with small values. For the moment this program is limited to the analyses of non-linear elastic problems. For structures which could have elastic stability problem, the calculation is controled by displacement.

  • This paper proposes the implementation of robust fuzzy controller for designing intelligent wind farm and mitiagating the fluctuation of wind power generator. The existing researches are limited to individual wind turbine with variable speed so that it is necessary to study the multi-agent wind turbine power system. The scopes of these studies include from the arrangements of each power turbine to the control algorithms for the wind farm. For solving these problems, we introduce the composition of intelligent wind farm and use the T-S (Takagi-Sugeno) fuzzy model which is suitable for designing fuzzy controller. The control object in wind farm enables the minimizing the fluctuation of wind power generator. Simulation results for wind fram which is modelled as mathematically are demonstrated to visualize the feasibility of the proposed method.

A Study on the Electric Conduction Mechanism of Polyimide Ultra-Thin Films

  • Polyimide is a well-known organic dielectric material, which has not only high chemical and thermal stability but also good electrical insulating and mechanical properties. In this research, the electric conduction mechanism of PI Ultra-Thin Films was investigated at room temperature. At low electric field, ohmic conduction $(I{\propto}V)$ was observed and the calculated electrical conductivity was about $4.23{\times}10^{-15}{\sim}9.81{\times}10^{-15}\;S/cm$. At high electric field, nonohmic conduction $(I{\propto}V^2)$ was observed and the conduction mechanism was explained by space charge limited region effect. The dielectric constant of PI Ultra-Thin Films was about 7.0.

외란 투입시 안정한 적응 제어기 설계 (Design of a Stable Adaptive Controllor in the Presence of Disturbance)

  • The adaptive control of a plant in the presence of disturbance is considered. In sevral papers, it was shown that bounded disturbance made the basic adaptive scheme unstable. For achieving robust stability in adaptive control system in the presence of disturbance, the pureintegration in the adaptive law is limited by means of an additional feedback term. In this paper, the suggested adaptive control law has property that the output error converges to zero whether the disturbance exist or not, without the priori knowledge. The adaptive controller suggested assure the boundness of all signal in the overall system. Finally, computer simulation show the effectiveness of the suggested adaptive control law.

  • For domestic aircraft industry, not mass production of components is limited, small production scale of the order is made by part because many kinds of hundreds of thousands of kinds of small quantity batch production system are taking. But the high reliability and stability are required during the processing because they require high precision parts are required. It is found that when C-axis rotation speed was increased, the diameter of the cutting tool decreased with increasing surface roughness, while the turn-mail feed rate was increased with increasing the surface roughness.

감독기능을 갖는 적응제어기 구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Adaptive Controller with Supervision Function)

  • In this paper, a method for the design of robust adaptive controller using the heuristic rules of industrial engineers is presented. This scheme works on the basis of heuristic rules and includes a supervisor, a system identifier and a detuner. The supervisor detects onsetting instability based on the analysis of the amplitude and the trend of error signal, also selects running controllers. Upon detecting instability, the controller is switched to a PID algorithm and run recursively until stability is restored. Simultaneously, new input / output data is gathered and the system identifier runs to get critical sensitivity (kc) and critical period(tc). Based on the new values(kc, tc), a GPC controller is redesigned and normal GPC is finally run. The algorithm described in this paper belongs to the supervised adaptive control category with a limited use of heuristic rules. Finally, we show the robust of this scheme by simulated example.

  • The most important part in automated transport systems is steering control for lane keeping Most of systems developed so far have used the visual information for steering control. In this study, the steering control algorithm based on visual servoing has been developed and tested by applying it on Radio Controlled(R/C) model car equipped with one CCD camera. We also demonstrated the feasibility of using it as a pre-test car before the real car experiment in developing automated vehicles. In order to solve the problem of the limited spave and load of a model car, remote-brained approach has been taken. For steering control of a model car, the PD controller which uses the look ahead offset to generate control input has been implemented and the characteristics of the controller has been explained in view of kinematics. Some experimental results have been also illustrated so as to show the control performance and stability.

Laminar-Turbulent Transition Research and Control in Near-wall Flow

  • A response of a swept wing boundary layer to a single free-stream stationary axial vortex of a limited spanwise extent is considered as an example of typical problems that one can find in laminar-turbulent transition research and control. The response is dominated by streamwise velocity perturbations that grow quasi-exponentially downstream. It is shown that the formation of the boundary layer disturbance occurs for the most part close to the leading edge. The disturbance represents itself a wave packet consisted of the waves with characteristics specific for cross-flow instability. However, an admixture of growing disturbances whose origin can be attributed to transient effects and to a distributed receptivity mechanism is also identified.

  • PbNb$_{2}$O$_{6}$ piezoelectric ceramics have good properties, but the applications of them have been limited due to the problems of microstructures. In the present study, effects of additives on the phase stability, microstructure, and electrical proper-ties of ferroetectric phase were investigated. La$_{2}$O$_{3}$, Nd$_{2}$O$_{3}$ and Sm$_{2}$O$_{3}$ were added with the amounts of 1, 3, 5 mol% respectively. The results showed that single orthorhombic(ferroelectric phase) phase compared with the mixed phase of pure PbNb2O6 was obtained. In the case of 5 mol% Nd$_{2}$O$_{3}$ addition, relative density of >95% and dense microstructure with -2.mu.m grain size were obtained.d.

  • In this paper, we investigated transient fault currents in a magnetic coupling High-Tc superconducting current limiter(HCL). It has an important effect on the reliability and stability of the power system. In order to analyze transient fault characteristics of HCL, we fabricated a magnetic coupling HCL and tested it in different fault conditions. An important parameter of design and manufacture which makes HCL inherently reliable is reduction of inrush fault currents. Without inrush fault currents, the currents flowing under such conditions can be limited to a desired-value within one cycle. Inrush fault current depends on saturation, normal spot propagation velocity, turns ratio and the fault angle.
