박물관 조명에 관한 국내 연구 동향 분석 (An Analysis of Domestic Research Trends on Museum Lighting)

  • 본 연구에서는 박물관 조명과 관련하여 지난 30년간 우리나라에서 수행된 중요 연구들을 되짚어보고자 학술 논문을 중심으로 연구 동향을 조사하였다. 현재까지 박물관 조명으로 사용된 광원과, 그 한계로 인해 보존환경이 발전되는 과정 중에 우리나라에서 수행된 박물관 조명에 의한 유물 열화에 대한 중요 연구 사례들을 되짚어보고 최근 적용되는 LED 광원에 의한 연구 현황을 살핌으로써 향후 연구가 나아갈 방향을 제시해보고자 하였다. 박물관 조명에 관한 연구의 궁극적인 목표는 장기간 사용에 대해 보존 효과를 높이는 것이며, 각 시대별 최신 광원을 대상으로 연구가 이루어져왔다. 1990년대 이전에는 최초의 박물관 전시 조명인 백열전구와 형광램프를 한지에 조사(照射)하여 광원에 의한 지류 유물의 안정성 평가가 이루어졌으며, 1990년대에는 할로겐램프와 HID램프의 도입으로 광원 자체의 특성 분석 및 조도 기준 제시에 관한 연구가 주를 이루었다. 2000년대에는 그간 연구되었던 광원의 특성을 바탕으로 박물관의 조명환경 측정을 실시하여, 보존 측면에서 유물의 안정성뿐만 아니라 관람 정서를 향상시킬 수 있는 방향의 연구가 진행되었다. 또한 2010년 이후에는 LED램프가 도입되면서 LED램프에 의한 유물 열화 연구가 확대되는 동시에 blue spike 영역의 축소, 연색성 증대 등 광원 자체의 개선 연구가 이루어졌다. 박물관 및 미술관에서 사용되는 조명이 진보함에 따라 전시품 보존 기준의 방향도 조도 중심에서 유물의 색상 및 광원의 복사속에 이르기까지 변화해왔으며, 그에 따라 발전된 기준 마련의 필요성이 제기되었다. 보다 면밀한 유물 변성 조건의 표준화 마련을 위해서는 장기적인 안목에서의 박물관 조명에 관한 꾸준한 연구가 기획되어야 할 것이다.

  • Double skin façade is known that several features affected the building energy and daylighting performance. That is why the envelope is able to consist of all architectural materials such as glass, aluminum, wood and insulation for vision of residents and workers in buildings. Its specifications is very diverse according to the building designers and building owners. In recent times, visual environment became a major focus and resulted in the development of cutting edge engineering of diverse glazing systems and shading devices by growing interests of friendly environment. Thus this research has evaluated the fluctuations of interior lighting and atmospheric conditions based on double skin facade systems. Especially in terms of daylighting environment as dependent on solar variations, this research provides quantitative analysis of interior lighting conditions and how it affects the living conditions as well as improve the design of interior spaces.

Development of a Localization System Based on VLC Technique for an Indoor Environment

  • In this paper, we develop an indoor localization device which embeds localization information into indoor light-emitting-diodes (LED) lighting systems. The key idea of our device is the use of the newly proposed "bit stuffing method". Through the use of stuff bits, our device is able to measure signal strengths even in transient states, which prohibits interference between lighting signals. The stuff bits also scatter the parts of the signal where the LED is turned on, thus provides quality indoor lighting. Additionally, for the indoor localization system based on RSSI and TDM to be practical, we propose methods for the control of LED lamps and compensation of received signals. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is validated through experiments with a low-cost implementation including an indoor navigation task.

  • Outdoor space used for leisure life as inhabitantses' recreation and rest area, and night activity is very important space to many apartment complex. Lately, outdoor space is recognized as a very important space in apartment complex. Especially, that outdoor space is frequently used at night despite planning of lighting of current outdoor space is unprepared for the selection of suitable luminaires, arrangement of luminaire and lighting plan. From this point of view, this paper investigated the essence of light in outdoor space and analyzed different outdoor luminous environment. This paper finally suggested recommended level of illuminance and planning of lighting.

Development of Lighting Compressed by Injection Yellow Ocher Soil

  • The compressed injection yellow ocher soil is the process-technology by drying the product through sunshine, not by firing like pottery and ceramic ware. It is the technology of development being able to achieve the far infrared ray and humidity adjustment by adding recycling paper, Korean paper and bamboo salt, and it corresponds with the construction enforcement ordinance 2007 as an interior-finishing product which is fire-resistant. In case that the yellow ocher soil would be used as lighting device and interior-finishing material and decoration, it could contribute to an improvement of National Health by avoiding the sick house syndrome and adding humidity adjustment, and it has more efficient economic effect due to using recycle-available additives. Through such developments of the yellow ocher soil products the domestic market of lighting device and construction material can be advanced and the replacement effect of imported goods & also export effect can be expected accordingly.

Measurement of UV radiation of LED lighting

  • Many countries and researchers in the lighting field have focused on the LED light source as a solution to energy savings and environmental pollution. The LED light source consumes less power, has a long life and is highly economical. It is vibration and shock-resistant, and environment friendly as well. But LED lighting has some problems. In particular, the photobiological safety of LED light sources is emerging as an issue. Ultraviolet radiation from the LED light source emitted directly to the human body over a long period of time is harmful. In this paper, UV radiation from white LED was measured. Finally, the LED light source emits UV radiation, but it is relatively small when compared to others.

  • Recently, since adjustment systems of various CCT(Correlated Color Temperature) are much developed, lighting environment of indoor has created by such various CCT lighting systems. If an indoor image of fixed CCT will quickly correct images of various CCT, lighting or interior designers can utilize it to persuade his or her clients in the indoor lighting planning process. Therefore, this paper presents fundamental data which are RGB data of seven color images for the correction of image by three different CCT.

  • Today, energy problem has become an important issue, and a development of renewable energy is urgent. In architectural fields, a research of the energy efficient lighting system using renewable energy is in progress. The energy efficient lighting system could be realized by integrating a daylight responsive LED lighting control system and a blind PV system. This system is able to save and generate electric energy. Efficiency of this system depends on control methods of blind PV. As a preliminary research, this research analyzed power generation and inflow of available daylight according to control method of blind PV.

주거공간을 위한 IT결합 광선반시스템 개발 연구 -조명에너지 저감을 중심으로- (A Study on Light-shelf system based on IT in Housing Space -Focus on Lighting Energy Saving-)

  • The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the light-shelf system combined with IT to save lighting energy in resident space. According to the multiple variables that affected intensity of illumination, various experiments were designed and conducted. The main findings of this study were following: (1)the optimal level of light-shelf system was formulated which met the appropriate range of intensity of illumination in living-room; (2)although the mixed light-shelf system indicated a high performance, it could often provide discomforts to residents according to the degree of exposure; (3)artificial lights using light-shelf system combined with IT showed a higher effectiveness than those using fixed light-shelf system displayed. This study provided initial information of light-shelf system formative processes that could contribute to the lighting energy diminution. Future studies should focus more on multiple approaches regarding different types of resident space planning.

  • In this paper, I try to measure characteristic transmission-reflection by environmental change or solar cell. I keep my eye on the characteristics variation of solar cell as environmental change. As a result, A variation caused by voltage by an effect on the efficiency of solar PV cell. Hence, it is an important variable when a designer plan to make a solar cell.
