Purpose: The purpose of this research was to explore the cyber world immersion experience of adolescents. Method: Multiple strategies for data collecting were used: an in depth face-to-face interview; analysis of adolescent' writings; and analysis of examples of phenomenon in the realistic world. The sample group consisted of 10 adolescents. Results: Although the experience was different for all adolescent interviewed, the essential themes of experience emerged: "fill up", "homoeologous feeling", "the older generation has a conflicting negative opinion", "change in social character", "become habitually skeptic", "have bad health", "mean of superiority and getting everything solved", "ease of access", "monetary benefit", "addiction to the computer", "forget real life solved stress", "do harm to society", "take comfort", or "new job". Conclusion: Accordingly this paper suggests that contact with various software is necessary in adolescents, and good quality contents function to prepare and activate adolescents to apply the internet for good use.

Globalization and informatization today mean the world wide spread of the information made by America, the American mode of thinking, the American way of life, and the English language based on the world wide information network led by America. Under this worldly currents, all He Korean wish to learn English. Now English turns to be the essential means to survival in Korea. In this article, we try to interpret this blindly pursuit of English from the point of view of the war of languages. For this purpose, we begin to examine the position of English in the world from the perspective of linguistic imperialism. Next, we review the linguistic reality of South Korea penetrated by English from the perspective of officialization of English in Korea. Finally, we propose to modernize and informatiz Korean to fight against the penetration of English into Korean culture. It depends on the success or failure of the development of the computer system operated by Korean.

Internet use in the world is rapidly growing. The Internet Is affecting all aspects of life, as we know it. The world of business will probably be changed forever. The construction industry is a major part of the business world It is also seeing changes because of the Internet. This study is to provide the construction industry with an understanding of the current use of the Internet by U.S. general contractors. This study consisted of surveying construction general contractors with regards to their current and future Internet use. The study shows that Internet use by U.S. general contractors is the highest at what was identified as the support level . Use at the corporate level was second, while use at the project level was lower. This study demonstrates that companies of every size are using the Internet somehow in order to remain competitive and to enable improvement of performance.

Unani medicine has been used extensively as preventive and therapeutic healthcare in India. It mostly utilizes herbal drugs for the treatment of various conditions and ailments. It is based upon the humoural and temperament theory of Buqrat (Hippocrates). Unani medicine is one of the oldest traditional system rooted within the Greek, Iranian, Arabic, and Islamic medical knowledge and has developed as a scientific healthcare system. It is highly practiced and popular in certain parts of the world, and the World Heritage Centre, part of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the United Nations Foundation list it as an authentic and still-living form of traditional medicine. But in the past, its survival required utmost efforts from different dynasties, scholars and organization around the world. The efforts of promotion, preservation, translation, upgradation and publication of medical knowledge has crucially given new life to Unani medicine in each era. This letter will enlighten the efforts of translations of medical knowledge in Unani medicine from its arising need in the past till present.

This study examined the effects of personal values on the levels of life satisfaction among three Northeast Asian countries: Korea, China, and Japan. For this, it used data from the World Values Survey and adopted the value categories framed by Schwartz(2012). The mains findings are as follows. First, the Korean respondents showed the lowest levels of life satisfaction and the Japanese respondents showed the lowest levels of importance on each value. Second, the Korean and Chinese respondents who put more importance on the value of 'self-direction' showed higher levels of life satisfaction. Third, the Chinese and Japanese respondents who put more importance on the value of 'benevolence' showed higher levels of life satisfaction. Fourth, while the Chinese and Japanese respondents with a higher level of importance on the value of 'universalism' and 'tradition', respectively, showed higher levels of life satisfaction, the Korean respondents with a higher level of importance on the value of 'power' showed lower levels of life satisfaction. Based on the findings, it suggested the directions for future research.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify levels of perceived stigma, self-esteem, quality of life and factors influencing on quality of life in people with Hansens' disease. Methods: The subjects were 128 people in Sorokdo National Hospital, two nursing homes, and three settlements. The stigma scale, self-esteem scale, and World Health Organization's quality of life instrument were used. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaires from July to August, 2010 and analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Ducan's multiple range test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression by SAS. Results: The level of perceived stigma was 3.93, self-esteem was 26.2, quality of life was 2.78. Self-esteem was positively associated with quality of life. Through the multiple regression, it was found that self-esteem and job were factors influencing of quality of life with 43% of predictability. Conclusion: It was found that self-esteem and job were important for people with Hansen's disease. To improve the quality of life in people with Hansen's disease, it is necessary to develop nursing interventions fostering self-esteem and decreasing perceived stigma.

The current number of international students is gradually increasing in the world due to their passion for study or exchange students programs related to be affiliated with their universities. Many international students have great hope for their successful life of studying abroad. The factors that play a key role in successful study abroad can be seen as life satisfaction in host country and career commitment. Therefore, this study suggested the way to improve students' life satisfaction and career commitment among Chinese international students in Korea. It focused on social identification as a core factor in improving international student life satisfaction and career commitment. In addition, it also focused on social support as a factor to increase social identification. According to the results of empirical analysis, it was verified that perceived social support improves social identification among international students. In addition, social identification improves their life satisfaction and career commitment. Therefore, the mediating effect of social identification was found to be significant in the relationship between perceived social support and life satisfaction and career commitment. This study was verified that if international students perceive social support, they can experience social identification. This process can eventually lead to life satisfaction and career commitment. Based on these results, it emphasized that the role and importance of social identification. Finally, the practical implications and future research directions were discussed.

Through psychological evaluation, this study attempted to verify the effect of quality of life improvements from gardening activities in apartment landscaping spaces. The study was conducted on 32 mothers raising children. Psychological valuation was conducted using world Health Organization Quality of Life questionnaire(WHOQOL-Bref), the Satisfaction with Life Scale(SWLS), the Life Satisfaction Experience Scale(LSES), and the Symptom Checklist-90-Revised(SCL-90-R). The psychological analysis results showed that, engaging in gardening activities for two weeks had, a positive effect on mothers' environmental of quality of life evaluation. The LSES indicates that satisfaction with oneself significantly increased after starting the gardening activities. The activity resulted in a positive change in attitude toward life. The SCL-90-R results showed changes in the mother's psychological state. There was a significant amelioration of obesessive-compulsive behaviors, hostility, and phobic anxiety. In conclusion, this study was found that, for mothers in apartments, outdoor gardening activities can significantly affect their quality of life. Moreover, it can help prevent mental health deterioration, Further study should be conducted on the beneficial effects of gardening on the variety of age groups and activities.

본 연구는 골관절염 질환을 있는 중년여성 환자의 성기능, 성스트레스, 삶의 질 정도와 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 상관관계 연구이다. 2019년 9월 1일부터 10월 31일까지 만40~65세 골관절염 질환이 있는 중년여성 121명을 대상으로 성기능, 성스트레스, 삶의 질의 관계를 설문조사하여 파악하였다. 성기능은 Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI), 성스트레스는 Female Sexual distress Scale (FSDS), 삶의 질은 World Health Organization Quaility of Life Assessment Instrument (WHOQLO)-BREF 척도를 사용하였다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS 25.0를 이용하여 기술통계, T-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, multiple regression analysis로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 골관절염 질환이 있는 중년여성의 성기능과 성스트레스는 통계적으로 유의한 음의 상관관계를 나타냈으며(r=-.24, p=.010), 성기능은 삶의 질과 통계적으로 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다(r=.32, p<.001). 성스트레스는 삶의 질과 통계적으로 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였다(r=-.32, p<.001). 삶의 질 영향요인에서 여성의 성기능, 성스트레스가 삶의 질에 16.1% 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 골관절염 질환을 가진 중년여성의 성기능과 성스트레스를 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 중요한 부분임을 인식하여 성기능 장애와 성스트레스를 줄이고 삶의 질을 개선할 수 있는 중재 프로그램 개발 및 효과 검증을 위한 추가적인 연구가 필요하다.

본고는 독석(獨石) 황혁(黃赫)의 생애와 시세계를 밝히는 데 목적을 두었다. 본고가 황혁을 연구의 대상으로 삼은 이유는 다음 두 가지이다. 첫째, 황혁이 문학적으로 상당한 재능이 있었음에도 우리 문학사에서 조명을 받지 못하고 있다는 것이다. 둘째 황혁의 시세계를 탐색하는 일은 유배시의 외연을 넓힌다는 측면에서 의미가 있기 때문이다. 이를 위해 2장에서 황혁의 생애를 검토하였다. 황혁의 생애에서 주목되는 점은 황혁이 해동강서시파로 평가받는 부친 황정욱의 문재를 이어받았다는 것이다. 그가 문과에 장원급제를 한 후 10년간 빠르게 진급하여 통정대부까지 오른 사실은 황혁의 뛰어난 문재를 방증하는 것이라 하겠다. 황혁의 생애에서 또 하나 주목해야 할 점은 그가 임진왜란 때 작성한 항복권유문으로 인해서 20여 년의 긴 유배생활을 하게 되었다는 것이다. 이는 유배의 배경으로서 기존의 그것과 변별되는 지점이고, 이는 황혁의 독특한 시세계로 나타났다고 할 수 있다. 3장에서는 2장을 바탕으로 황혁의 시세계를 살펴보았다. 이를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, '시호(豺虎)의 현실(現實), 소무(蘇武)의 이미지'이다. 임진왜란은 황혁의 뇌리 속에 강하게 자리 잡은 나쁜 기억이었다. 왜냐하면 황혁이 긴 유배에 처하게 된 발단이 임진왜란 때 항복권유문을 썼기 때문이다. 이로 인해 황혁은 임진왜란 때의 현실을 '시호(豺虎)가 우글거리는 혐오스런 현실로 인식했으며, 결백한 자기 자신을 흉노에게 사신 갔다가 억류된 소무(蘇武)로 비유하였다. 둘째, '장사(長沙)의 현실(現實), 굴원(屈原)의 이미지'이다. 황혁은 암담한 유배지에 놓인 자신을 굴원으로 비유하였다. 이는 항복권유문을 모함한 북인에 의해 유배를 가게 된 자신을, 간신들의 모함을 받고 배척된 굴원(屈原)과 동일시하려 했기 때문이다. 독특한 점은, 황혁이 굴원의 이미지를 가져오되, 장사(長沙)라는 공간으로 한정했다는 것이다. 장사(長沙)는 굴원이 투신자살한 멱라수가 있는 곳이다. 황혁은 굴원이 최후를 맞이한 장사를 통해 항복권유문이라는 치명적인 죄에서 벗어날 수 없었던 자신의 암담한 처지를 보여주고자 했던 것이다.
