The food situation in North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea, DPRK) has been in difficulty situation because of a shortage of energy, and of raw materials such as fertilizer and agricultural chemicals. The international agricultural aid programs can alleviate some difficulties in the agricultural areas, but the policies and measures in North Korea can not help difficulties in the agriculture due to the institutional obstacles enforced by DPRK. The arable area of DPRK is approximately $20,000km^2$, of which $14,000km^2$ is well for cereal cultivation. Fertilizer supplies in recent years between 700,000 and 750,000 tons annually were less than 50% of the normal requirement. Also, North Korea strongly needed to inject phosphorus fertilizer and lime to increase the fertility. Soil degradation in DPRK was characterized by physical and chemical changes caused by rapid loss of clay particles and organic matter. Intensive ploughing and tilling to grow crops may lead to massive soil degradation and declining yields. Although farmers in the DPRK have faced numerous challenges, not least of which are soil erosion, scarce inputs and extreme weather like drought, flooding and cold spells. Therefore farmers should be encouraged to adopt more environmentally sound cropping practices, to access quality seeds and planting materials and to reduce losses after the harvest.

Objectives: To explore the impacts of home-based integrative Korean medicine program, on pain, quality of life (QOL), and satisfaction among elderly female residents with mobility impairment in rural areas during the period from August 2021 to November 2022. Methods: Five participants with mobility impairment in rural area were selected from Health Department of Public Health Center. We conducted an investigation into the variations in NRS (Numerical Rating Scale) scores, changes in quality of life (QOL), and levels of satisfaction resulting from a combination of acupuncture, counseling, and the provision of medical supplies. Results: Participants reported improvements in Overall pain and Quality of life. Satisfaction levels reported high. Conclusions: Home-based integrative Korean medicine program showed possibility of improvements for the elderly women with mobility impairment in rural areas in terms of pain, quality of life. In pursuit of improved management, it is advisable to contemplate the adoption of a fresh treatment approach.

A Trolley line is a very important equipment among electric railway equipments since it contacts directly with pantograph and supplies electricity on the electromotive. Such it was thought that a trolley line need not to consider fatigue since the replace cycle by wear is shorter than the replace cycle by fatigue breakage. But, the bending fatigue breakage accidents occurred several times at the Shinkansen trolley line in East Japan Railway Company. Therefore, in case of a new developed trolley line, the evaluation for bending fatigue life became more important, But, since there are not an authorized fatigue test method and a testing device for the trolley line, the quantitative evaluation is difficult. In this study, we analyzed the load and environment condition of trolley line used in the actual spot and the developed testing device that can evaluate bending fatigue properties of the trolley line as simulating the real condition. The bending fatigue test of the trolley line was achieved using the developed testing device and estimated the fatigue life of trolley line and also, established the fatigue test process.

이 연구는 환자의 치위생학적 지식 및 실천 정도가 구강건강과 관련된 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 측정하고자 평가도구중 하나인 구강건강영향지수(OHIP)를 사용하여 평가하였다. 그 결과 예방적인 지식이나 일상에서 매일 사용하는 구강용품지식 및 사용방법 지식이 높아야 주관적으로 느끼는 삶의 질이 높게 나타났다. 그리고 진료 형태별 지식과 같이 경험으로 습득한 지식은 높을수록 주관적으로 느끼는 삶의 질이 낮게 나타났다. 반면 심미치료중의 하나인 미백치료지식은 높을수록 주관적으로 느끼는 삶의 질이 높게 나타났다. 즉 예방적이고 심미적인 지식이 구강 건강영향지수에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석된다.

Research and technology has been transforming the agriculture to agribusiness which encompasses all operations with all the connections from faming per se, to manufacture & distribution of production supplies and farm commodities. Further, with the revolutionary development of information technology in the last two decades, we cannot talk about agribusiness process alone without considering the information technology embedded in the artifact, process, and structure. Despite the emergence of precision agriculture (PA) which is supported by IT based innovations which can not only improve efficiency in farming operations but also contribute to environmental sustainability, the adoption of IT among farmers and in agriculture industry are rather low than expected. Thus, Korean government has been seeking to converge IT into food, agriculture, forestry and fisheries to improve the competency of the agribusiness, and much progress has been made. This paper investigated the status quo of the current IT convergence with Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Korea, and further proposed future policy directions.

Lacquer has a high value as a coating of typical arts and crafts in East Asia including Korea, Japan, and China and traditional representative of the gorgeous satin that is fit to the cultural conditions of each region. Lacquer is harmless to the human body and its robustness, preservatives, moth proofness, and strong heat resistance can maintain a long life. It seems that it will be able to make a significant contribution to create a variety of products if we continually study and raise the productivity and quality of the goodness of these lacquer. In this context, we reviewed the Pitae lacquer wares, which is one of the lacquer of traditional techniques that can be applied to the development of daily necessities and cultural product. Joining the goodness of harmless and environment-friendly lacquer and the characteristics of the leather that can produce a variety of physical beauty can develop household goods of tradition and modernity in harmony. It is worthwhile re-interpreting the tradition in the aspect that we can develop our culture from a modern, plastic, and artistic point of view.

This study aimed to suggest the way to support flood disaster older survivors with analysing how relief services and their human resources are used. For this study, the data was collected from 184 elderly aged over 65 years from Inje and Pyungchang in Gangwon province where lots of flood damages were done. The results of the study was elderly used human resources of public servant/military soldiers, volunteers as public or official services than as private resources. These results provide the evidence that public or official human resources are very helpful to control their emergency situations because there is hardly any use of their private human resources except for assistance from their family. And it shows that older people are willing to use services of life rescue and information services of their family members safety rather than basic supplies, medical care or medicine providing. With this findings we suggest informing the news of family safety including basic necessaries are highly signigicant. Thus, it is useful for disaster planners to understand building immediate life rescue and accurate information delivery systems. These are relevant to older adults' psychological well-being, thus, providing news of family safety including offering material resources are highly needed for older disaster survivors.

Truncus arteriosus is one of the rare cyanotic congenital cardiac anomalies and thought to be result from complete or partial failure of trunco-conal septum. A single arterial trunk receiving blood from both ventricles supplies the coronary, pulmonary and systemic circulation. The symptoms were usually related to the degree of the pulmonary blood flow and functional status of truncal valve, and mostly appeared within the first two months of life. The prognosis is generally considered to be poor in spite of successful surgical correction. This report is a case of 13 years old female with type I truncus arteriosus, which was successfully corrected using a intracardiac Dacron tunnel graft[semilunar, 18mm] from VSD to the truncal valve, and a extra-cardiac lonescu-Shiley valved[20mm] Dacron conduit [21mm] from RV to the pulmonary artery[Rastelli operation].

The neceSSity for the lIse of recycled aggregate in concrete arises due to the following reasons : (1) diminishing supplies of natuml aggregates; (2) securing ample supply of concrete aggregates to the construction industry; (3) dirninisrl! ng dumping area within the utban limits; and (4) avoid,ing danger to marine life by limiting the indiscriminate dumping of highly alkaline nature of concrete in the sea. It is the purpose of thiS report to improve the quality of recycled aggregate concrete and to put to practical use of such concrete.

The hat is the most flexible human head covering. Almost entirely enveloping the hair, it can be simple, pure, elegant and mysterious. Yet it is frequently a highly decorative form of dress. The hat also takes a part in the extension of the area of art as soft-sculpture. My purpose of this thesis is to present diverse artistic hats with natural images by nontraditional materials and natural resources. The reason why I select nature as them is that it is absolutely the origin of life and art. To develop the innovative hat design, I focus on the material to extend the range of art expression. I observe nontraditional materials such as wire, paper and so on that enhance heterogenetic feeling from natural images. The attempt is made to enhance the visual effect by harmonizing the disharmonious feeling. Natural resources such as moss, orange, feather and so on could be adapted to the hat and applied for unique design, which supplies new expression. Therefore, the harmony of natural images and natural resources could avoid dullness, bestow elegance and polish the unique beauty creation of the hat.
