Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify, describe, and understand the meaning of experiences by clarifying the structure of the coping experience of end-of-life care(EOLC) experienced by long-term care hospitals(LTCHs) nurses'. Methods: Data were gathered from 16 nurses who had been working at LTCHs in Korea through one-on-one interviews and the data were analyzed by Colaizzi's phenomenological method. Results: It was structured and identified into 3 categories and 15 theme clusters. The emergent 3 categories were 'Long-term care hospitals nurses' attitudes towards for end-of-life care', 'End-of-life care stress', 'Coping with end-of-life care'. Conclusion: There is a need for practical and systematic education for LTCHs nurses' to positively change end-of-life care attitudes and reduce and prevent end-of-life care stress. In addition, it is suggested to operate programs that can improve coping skills or programs such as expert counseling.
The purpose of this study was to verify factor structure and validation of Oddi Continuing Learning Inventory (OCLI) and prove up possibility of usage as an evaluation tool for evaluating life-long learning. 330 students in school of engineering of I university at Incheon province were responded for OCLI. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. As the exploratory factor analysis results, 24 items in original version were converted to 19 items. The total reliability was .774 and the total covariance was 40.57%. As the confirmatory factor analysis results, four items were removed and GFI .938, AGFI .915, CFI .908 appeared to fit all the criteria. The RMSEA index 0.054 also appeared to fit significantly higher.
This study aimed to investigate leisure activity of the elderly, focused on the elderly education. Two hundred thirty nine elderly persons in the region of Cheongju were selected, and questionnaire was utilized for collecting data. As statistical methods, frequency, %, crosstabs analysis with spsswin was used. Five principle results emerged from this study. First, the elderly education was based on law of welfare of the aged and law of life long education. Second, the elderly education programs consist of four subcategories- intellectual, emotional, social, physical subcategories. Third, many of the elderly participated in physical subcategories. Fourth, the levels of elderly participating in leisure activity was relatively high and differed significantly according to age, time level and cause of participating in leisure activity. Fifth, they were segmented into eight groups by level of education, health and economic status. Among them, the group of positive attitudes and participated on elderly education was more likely to be higher level of education, health and economic status. Based on the results of this study, participating elderly education provides solution of problem and self development for the elderly. In order to prepare Korean society for the aged society, the government need to offer a basis on law and policy for the elderly education, as well as program the elderly education.

This study analyzes on the perception of public librarians about lifelong education tasks in public library using Mann Whitney U-test, Spearman rank-order correlation coefficient, Multiple regression analysis. At the same time, analysis about re-education needs using Analytic Hierarchy Process is conducted. As result, at first, 87% of respondents feel moderate or difficult about lifelong education tasks, especially on planning task. At second, librarians who have qualification about lifelong educator feel easier (P=0.04) than others, in detail, task about lecturer liaison (P=0.04) and planning (P=0.05). Adding that, the career experience and the job difficulty of librarians has negative relationship (R=-0.217). Especially scheduling (R=-0.33) and progressing (R=-0.22) tasks show statistically meaningful. At third, as the result of Multiple regression analysis, tasks about planning (P=0.04) and library marketing (P=0.05) are selected as meaningful elements which effect overall difficulty of life long education job. As final, 91% of librarian need retraining for life long education function, as result of spearman (R=-0.210), the more librarians feels difficult about life long education jobs, the more they need retraining. Anyway, as the result of priority of retraining subjects through AHP technique, user communication (CU P=0.310), planning (PL P=0.246), library marketing (LM P=0.173) are in weight order. CR ratio shows 0.146 with permissible degree.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between end of life care competencies and terminal care stress of nurses in long term care hospitals. Methods: For this study, 140 nurses were sampled among those that have over 6-month end of life care experience and were working at long term care hospitals located in A city and C city of Chungcheongnam-do. Using a questionnaire, data were collected from January 2018 through March 2018. Data were analyzed using the SPSS, Windows version 21.0, according to the purpose of the study and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, $Sch\acute{e}ffe^{\prime}s$ test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: The mean score on terminal care stress of nurses was above the normal level. The scores on end of life care competencies significantly varied by age, total career at hospitals, death/hospice and palliative care education, and bereavement experience. The mean score of end of life care competencies was negatively correlated with the mean score of lack of knowledge and skills among the subitems of the terminal care stress category (r=-0.260, P=0.002). Conclusion: To decrease the terminal care stress of long term care hospital nurses, it is suggested to carry out end of life care education tailored to nurses characteristics.

In this paper we expand on the notion of "integration" in terms of the variety of ways in which it would manifest itself in business education. Our main argument is that "integration" is multidimensional and has been manifest in pedagogy, research and service dimensions of university programs for a long time. However, assessments of "integration" efforts have been spotty thus far and only recently are being formalized. We present several examples in business curriculum and with increased focus on formal assessments of "integration" efforts, business education will become more pragmatic. The goal of this paper is to unpack the broad construct of "integration," and discuss its historical and current manifestations in business education. Ultimately, we conclude that while the process of integrative thinking is well underway for a long time in business education, the assessment of outcomes of integrative thinking is just taking root through formal ETS tests. We believe that integrative thinking in business education is an ultimate indicator of the effectiveness of the business curriculum, as students skilled in this area will be best prepared for the real-life jobs in the market place.
The purpose of this study was to investigate discomforts and sexual life and to identify the relation between the discomforts and sexual life with low back pain. The data were collected from March 2 through July 31, 2001. Four hundred forty-two questionnaires were returned (response rate=88.0%). Analysis of the data was done with SPSS PC+ and use descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test, t-test, ANOVA. regression. The statistics shows that over than 80% of the adults experienced lumbago at least one time in their life, and Back pain is known as one of the most common complaints made by the patients of all ages in the general hospital or local medical clinics throughout. However, in certain case it leads to a chronic condition which can cause a great deal of problems in management and in financial burden to individuals and society. The result of this study was summarized as follows: 1) It appeared that regarding the distribution of gender, male was the higher(63.6%) then that of female, the portion of forties was 28.5%. Sitting for long time was 23.1% in men and 21.7% in women. Unknown reason including sexual behaviour was 12.9% in men and 15.5% in women. Patients treated medicine and physical therapy were 36.4%. In level of educational background, the rate of high school was 31.0%, technical college was 28.5%. The highest proportion by occupation was 18.3% of office workers, occupation posture was 41.9% of sitting. 2) Men(26.0%) and most of women(34.8%) were not satisfied in the explanation satisfaction rate of sex life concerned disease. 23.8% in men and 23.6% in women considered flexibility of waist good. Man(33.3%) and most of woman(35.0%) considered that Health education is necessary. 32.7% in men and 27.3% in women did't mind educator is whoever. Preventing of lower back pain(LBP) and proper Health education of sex life are demanded in daily life. 3) 58.0% of man and 64.0% of woman mostly had a posture which is man over woman. 28.5% in men and 27.8% in women considered that proper information finding of LBP and sex life was very few and few. 37.7% in men and 42.7% in women have acquired information about sex life flung their friends. 4) The number of sex life was decreased from 2.96 0.98 to 2.61 1.63 and also the time of sex life was decreased from 3.65 1.89 to 226 1.64. The satisfaction rate of sex life changed from 3.60 0.86 to 2.77 1.10. In the number of sex life, The non correct group was 2.62 1.91 and the correct group was higher in 2.68 1.65. In the time of sex life, The non correct group was 2.02 1.47 and the correct group was higher in 229 1.65. The satisfaction rate of sex life was 2.76 0.86 in non correct group and 2.88 1.10 in correct group. So there was a difference. 5) In the satisfaction rate of sex life, Men who have a lower back pain were higher than women and no attack group was higher than attack group. As they had many sex life, the satisfaction rate was higher significantly in statistics. As the time of sex life was short, the satisfaction rate was lower significantly in statistics. As the age was low, the demand rate of Health education was high and as means of patient who had a lower back pain was high, the demand rate of Health education was high. As the patient who had a lower back pain had a long married life, the demand rate of Health education was high and as education level was high, the demand rate of Health education was high. It is necessary to provide patients with conservative treatment, educational teaching, and training to prevent further injuries in the future. In general, it is important to educate the public how to prevent back injuries and how to treat themselves in an onset period to prevent further injuries sliding into a chronic state. Sexuality is an integral part of normal and healthy relationships, but patients are unable to enjoy sex because they are riot able to get into a comfortable position due to back pain. Many conditions of the spine can make certain positions uncomfortable. Health educator should make the education program of the discomforts and the sexual pattern for low back pain in workplace and/or hospital. Further study Is needed on how to integrate the educational program on sexuality into the total rehabilitation program.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the correlation coefficient cultural competence, health promotion behavior, and quality of life of married immigrant women in Korea. Methods: The participants included 88 married immigrant women who applied to educational programs for medical tour coordinators and agreed to participate in the study. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires that were constructed to include scales to measure cultural competence, health promotion behavior, and quality of life. Data were analyzed using ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients with SPSS/WIN 19.0. Results: Both cultural competence and health promotion behavior were different according to the husband's occupation. There was a positive correlation between cultural competence and quality of life, a positive correlation between health promotion behavior and quality of life, and a positive correlation between health promotion behavior and cultural competence. Conclusion: From a long-term point of view, various programs for married immigrant women should greatly strengthen their cultural competence and help them become genuine members of our society and live an independent life. Developing detailed and active programs for nursing intervention to constitute a healthy lifestyle and improve the quality of life is recommended.
PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to investigate changes in retention and wear pattern of Locator® and ADD-TOC attachments on a digital milled bar by performing chewing simulation and repeated insertion/removal of prostheses in fully edentulous models. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Locator (Locator®; Zest Anchors Inc., Escondido, CA, USA) was selected as the control group and ADD-TOC (ADD-TOC; PNUAdd Co., Ltd., Busan, Republic of Korea) as the experimental group. A CAD-CAM milled bar was mounted on a master model and 3 threaded holes for connecting a bar attachment was formed using a tap. Locator and ADD-TOC attachments were then attached to the milled bar. Simulated mastication and repeated insertion/removal were performed over 400,000 cyclic loadings and 1,080 insertions/removals, respectively. Wear patterns on deformed attachment were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy. RESULTS. For the ADD-TOC attachments, chewing simulation and repeated insertion/removal resulted in a mean initial retentive force of 24.43 ± 4.89 N, which were significantly lower than that of the Locator attachment, 34.33 ± 8.25 N (P < .05). Amounts of retention loss relative to baseline for the Locator and ADD-TOC attachments were 21.74 ± 7.07 and 8.98 ± 5.76 N (P < .05). CONCLUSION. CAD-CAM milled bar with the ADD-TOC attachment had a lower initial retentive force than the Locator attachment. However, the ADD-TOC attachment might be suitable for long-term use as it showed less deformation and had a higher retentive force after simulated mastication and insertion/removal repetitions.
This study aims to inform seafarers to prepare their retired life by researching the life style of ex-seafarers. These information will also help seafarers to increase job satisfaction and government to establish national policy. 217 retirees who have several educational background responded the research questionnaire. Research results are as follows; First, Korean seafarers' retired ages are faster than shore employee due to the isolation from their families and society. Second, life satisfaction of retired seafarers depends on the level of life expenses regardless the educational background or length of sea life. Third, the level of retired life expenses of shore based, higher education background or short sea-life seafarers is higher than the sea based, lower education background or long sea-life seafarers. Forth, life style of retired seafarers is staying at home regardless their expectation during career period. Finally special seafarers' social security is needed and education to the ex-seafarers will help re-enter for sea-life.
