This study was conducted to determine what information regarding wedding services are most important to consumers, and the most common methods by which consumers gather this information so that wedding directors can disseminate information regarding wedding services effectively. In addition, this survey also evaluated the amount of information required by wedding directors so that they can best serve consumers. To accomplish these goals, a questionnaire survey was conducted between January 25 and February 27, 2007. A total of 290 questionnaires were used for the final analysis, which indicated that: 1. The needs for information related to wedding services was very high as index value 4.41. 2. Most consumers acquire information regarding wedding services while attending other wedding ceremonies and consumers value the advice of families, friends and relatives over information they obtain from the internet. 3. Consumers would like a wedding director to manage the wedding schedule and arrange the wedding procedure.

In the hotel industry, there are the production and consumption of services at the same time, considering direct contact between employees and customers. In this respect, this study was conducted based on more practical factors to grasp employees' feelings and conflicts. The results of this research are as follows. First, individual conflicts among hotel banquet employees influence devotion to the organization which has a direct effect on performance of management. Second, such devotion is closely correlated with the factors of the performance of management. Finally, managing employees' conflicts is the key factor to promote the performance of management. Under these circumstances, there should be more concern in solving problems among employees and special pro-grams for promoting job satisfaction and devotion which bring about more profits as well as a sense of achievement.

Failure mechanisms were investigated for the two layer thermal barrier coatings consisting of NiCrAlY bond coat and $ZrO_2$-8wt.% $Y_2O_3$ ceramic coating during cyclic oxidation. $Al_2O_3$ developed at the ceramic coating/bond coat interface first, followed by the Cr/Ni rich oxides such as $NiCr_2O_4$ and $Ni(Al, Cr)_2O_4$ during cyclic oxidation. It was observed that the spalling of ceramic coatings took place primarily within the NiCrAlY bond coat oxidation products or at the interface between the bond coat oxidation products and zirconia based ceramic coating or the bond coat. It was also observed that the fracture within these oxidation products occurred with the formation of $Ni(Cr, Al)_2O_4$ spinel or Cr/Ni rich oxides. It was therefore concluded that the formation of these oxides was a life-limiting event for the thermal barrier coatings.

Laryngeal trauma is an uncommon injury but can be life-threatening event. So, early diagnosis is important for appropriate surgical management and better outcome. Because there have been some controversies about Initial airway management, appropriate diagnostic evaluation, operative indication and timing, operative technique, it is difficult to make a common management pathway in laryngeal trauma. A case of laryngeal trauma with thyroid cartilage and hyoid bone fracture is presented with a brief review of literature.

Intraventricular hemorrhage long after successful encephaloduroarterio synangiosis (EDAS) is very rare. The effect of revascularization surgery for preventing hemorrhagic event of moyamoya disease remains controversial. We report a 17-year-old female with intracerebral hemorrhage and intraventricular hemorrahge 10 years after successful EDAS. Even though cerebral vessels angiography showed good collateral circulations without specific weak points, a cerebral hemorrhage could occur in patient with ischemic type of moyamoya disease long after successful indirect bypass operations. Good collateralization of cerebral angiography or magnetic resonance perfusion image after indirect bypass surgery would ensure against ischemic symptoms, not a hemorrhage. And, thus a life-time follow-up strategy might be necessary even if a good collateral circulation has been established.

The purpose of this study was to develop wholistic Family Functioning Scale for Korean family bases on FFS of Tavitian et al. The data for this study was got from the sample survey of 370 mothers who had children of education period living in Seoul and kyunggi-do. The major findings were summarized as follows: 1) Through item discrimination method 34 items of the total items showed a high index ranged from .29. to .77 of discrimination coefficient 2) Factor analytic procedures selected 29 items among 34 items and extracted 4 factors(Positive Fmaily Emotion Family Communication Participation in Family Event and Sharing Family Worries) These factors accounted for 93.03% of the total variance. 3) A multiple regression analysis conducted to reduce the number of items yielded 26 items for the Family Functioning Scale 4) Internal consistency reliability for this scale showed high internal consistency(Cronbach's a= .86)

The project participants make use of floats for their benefits. The owner may consume floats in an event of issuing change order(s) and may avoid the risk factors attributed by them; the contractor may reduce activities' costs by substituting the activity with alternative construction method and by leveling the resources, hence consuming floats. There are a lot of disputes and claims involved in the float ownership issue. The ownership of floats should be stipulated in the contract stage. To alleviate these disputes and claims, it is commendable to develop a computational method that quantifies the float value. This paper presents the method that computes the values of total floats which changes over the project life span. The system calculates CPM, compute the ratio of area of banana curve which is enclosed by earliest start curve and latest start-curve.

This paper presents armed vehicle BAttle Group Simulation model(called BAGSim) which is an object-oriented simulation system for representing battle group engagement consisting of tanks and helicopters. BAGSim is designed in the evolutionary software life cycle approach with the Unified Software Development Process, and implemented with C++ language. BAGSim consists of a preprocessor for engagement scenario definition and simulation data set up, a main processor for triggering engagement event and advancing simulation clock, and a post processor to record simulation histories. Application scenario covers several type of engagement among command tanks, fight tanks, scout helicopters, attack helicopters, anti-tank guided missiles, and decoys. Thus, BAGSim can be effectively used as an analytic tool to examine some operational concepts and tactics, further experimentally fine tune tank design options.

The rapid development and widespread application of Internet has provided a platform for people to participate and discuss social hotspot events. In the meantime, social events may be spread throughout the Internet more quickly and widely than they did ever before, and possibly lead to serious social problems due to opinion violence or seditious rumour. This paper analyzed the Internet spread of social events, and presented a five-stage model to describe the evolution process of that spread. Furthermore, the improved IBF algorithm was applied to extract a pruned connected graph aiming to find the key nodes and the shortest spread path for the control of that spread. After analyzing the different factors that may cause the netizens' attention, this paper concluded BBS type, the visit quantity and the opinion leader are key factors which affect the Internet spread. Based on those researches, a life-cycle emergency management methodology and the related strategies were proposed for the achievement of healthy spreading environment on Internet.

In Korean Peninsula including neighboring islands and Japanese Islands identical firefly species or the species belonging to same genera occur together in both territories. These geographic firefly species, nonetheless, have never been subject to taxonomic consideration together until recently, lacking clear species status and phylogenetic relationships. A recent serial study of these fireflies using luciferase gene and/or portions of mitochondrial DNA sequences provided some insight into these populations in terms of validity of species name, phylogenetic relationships, and speciation event. In this article, thus, we have reviewed the recent progress on phylogenetic and/or population genetic aspects of these species, i.e., Hotaria-group fireflies, Luciola lateralis, and Pyrocoelia rufa to better understand the firefly species in these regions.
