  • The introduction of BIM in domestic construction industry has become more active. Library development and standardization in civil-engineering are unexhausted. This research develop and standardize prototype library for railway infrastructure. We define target facility for library based on railway standard drawings and select BIM software according characteristic of each facility. In this research, we develop libraries composed of 199 files and 489 types for alignment, roadbed and track and make specifications as defined attribution item and description. As we consider for application to diverse use case, develop prototype library in low LoD. We expect that library can increase 3D design productivity and ensure consistency of quality.

Therefore, this study intended to draw implications through investigation of guidelines of the library service for the disabled on domestic and foreign libraries. As the results of those investigation, this research found that the legal standard and related guidelines should be amended urgently according to the current status of related library situation. The first Issue that was derived in this study is to separate consideration of the minimum standards and the detailed criteria of library service for the disabled. Secondly, the guidelines of the library service for the disabled should be linked statistics and evaluation index of government in order to be applied to the library spot realistically. To do so, this research suggested that opinions of the library for the disabled and the disabled users should be reflected through listening and communications.

  • Exploring research similarity of researchers offers insight on research communities and potential interactions among scholars. While co-authorship is a popular measure for studying research similarity of researchers, it cannot provide insight on authors who have not collaborated yet. In this work, we present novel approach to capture research similarity of authors using citation information. Extensive study is conducted on DATA & KNOWLEDGE ENGINEERING (DKE) publications to demonstrate and compare suggested approach with co-authorship based approach. Analysis result shows that proposed approach distinguishes author relationships that is not shown in co-authorship network.
