As designing webpage has become part of daily life, the public library tends to use the webpage for the information service and the public relations as well. In this context, this study explores the theoretical background on the webpage of public libraries； investigates and analyzes, based on previous studies, the webpage of public libraries in Seoul in terms of its informations structure and contents : and suggests some recommendations, through designing and controlling, for the effective use of the webpage of public libraries.

As the webpage has become part of our daily lives, libraries tend to use the webpage for the information service and for the pubic relations as well. In that, the importance on the management of webpage in libraries has been emphasized. This study explores the theoretical background on the webpage and its management; surveys and analyzes the webpages of 20 medical libraries in Seoul in terms of its management; and suggests some recommendations for the effective management of webpages in libraries.

The user satisfaction of environmental facilities, collection, library services including webpage, etc. by using KSDC program provided by Korea Social Science Data Center has been analysed in this study. Also, the undergraduate students using P-academic library on December 2017 were sampled and analysed in this study. ANOVA etc. were used for testing wether gender, academic level and major of students affect the satisfaction, and Pearson correlation coefficient was used for testing the relation among the variables in the attached questionnaire. The major conclusions of this study are: (1) The policy development for the library use of male undergraduate students is needed. (2) The special counterplan to improve the user accessibility is needed. (3) Also, environmental facilities is absolutely needed when planning to improve user satisfaction. Besides, the development plan prepared after analysing the user opinions in essay form was suggested in this paper, too.

정보통신의 발달과 인터넷의 대중화로 인해 웹페이지 구축이 생활화됨에 따라 의학도서관에서도 웹페이지를 통한 효과적인 정보제공이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 서울시 의학도서관 웹페이지를 대상으로 웹페이지 설계기준에 따라 구조와 내용을 분석하여 문제점을 살펴보고 활성화 방안을 마련하여, 웹페이지를 통한 효과적인 의학도서관의 정보서비스 제공에 기여하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to survey the events which school libraries have practiced for reading education and to do the suggestions on the revitalization of events which are related to the reading education. The results of this study is like following; 1) Teacher-librarians should be employed to school libraries. 2) School libraries ought to make a plan for the events which are related to the reading and libraries and practice it. 3) School libraries have to inform the news according to reading education events through the webpage of school libraries. 4) The budget for reading education should be obtained. 5) The administrative assistance is needed for the reading education events. 6) Teacher-librarian should make the plans for reading education based on the social memorials.

The diffusion of webpages has inevitably brought about changes in providing the information service of the medical libraries. Accordingly this study builds a theoretical background in relation to webpages and information services of the medical libraries. Also, this paper examines the current information services in the webpages of the medical libraries in Seoul. By so doing, this study aims to enhance the information service in webpages of the medical libraries.

The purpose of this study is to suggest development plan of the Regional knowledge information services through the case study analysis between Korea and Japan public libraries. For this purpose, we analyzed literature related to the Regional knowledge information services, performed case study, and carried out a investigation which focuses on a public libraries webpage. According to the analysis, the development plan for the Regional knowledge information services was suggested as follow; that is user-friendly service, internal cooperation, external network cooperative strategy, visible public relations and recognition improvement. This study has aimed to prepare for the basic data which will help Korea public libraries to make better Regional knowledge information services in the future.

In this paper, we propose a design and implementation of a DB system for providing comprehensive information retrieval service about social economic information. We classify social economic organizations into 6 major categories and 35 small categories. The DB contains 25,938 social economic organizations in total. The DB system provides simple and intuitive interface for searching information such as keyword search, category search and initial search. Fully loaded time of webpage of implemented DB system achieved 2.3s by Vancouver, Canada Server.

Objectives: There is a requirement to select target materials for mutagenicity(Genotoxicity) testing, so we determined to set the test priorities of them by searching the related database. Methods and Results: We searched a number of databases to find information on mutagenicity tests with chemicals under the Occupational Safety and Health Act(OSH Act), such as KOSHANET, National Toxicology Program(NTP), European Chemicals Agency(ECHA), US National Library of Medicine(NLM), and Genetic Toxicology Data Bank(GENE-TOX), as well as ChemIDplus webpage, and presented the information. Also we anticipated their hazards with ACToR sites to confirm the 58 mutagenicity(Genotoxicity) tests we will perform. Conclusions: We presented target materials for mutagenicity testing with specific GLP tests consisting of reverse mutation(Ames), chromosomal aberration and micronucleus test.

In this paper, we implemented medicinal plant information system based on user requirement using Ajax technique which can retrieve data from the server asynchronously in the background without refresh webpage and jQuery which is a lightweight cross-browser javascript library. Also, we presented the source code handling the server response data used in the system and compared the features by the type of response data. This system shows the improvement of user interaction and response rates because of a simple response data from the server, client-side data processing and change of web page by manipulating the DOM tree and provides ease of use and convenient data access.
