The purpose of this study is to build a general principle for the automatic book-classification which can be put to use in library operation, and to present a methodology of the automatic classification for the library. Since the enumerative classification scheme which exist as manual systems cannot be a n.0, pplied to the automation of classification, the principles of Colon Classification by S.R. Ranganathan is brought in and studied. The result of the study can be summarized as follows: (1) Automatic book-classification can be performed by the principles of faceted classification. (2) This study presents a general and an a n.0, pplication principles for the automatic book-classification. (3) File design for the automatic book-classification of a general classification is different from that of special classification, (4) The methodology is to classify the literature by inputting the title into a terminal. In addition, the expected Value from the Automatic Book-classification is as follows: (1) The prompt and accurate process of classification is possible. (2) Though a book is classified in any library it can have the same classification number. (3) The user can retrieve the classification code of a book for which he or she wants to search through the dialogue with the computer. (4) Since the concept coordination method is employed, even the representing of a multi-subject concept is made simple. (5) By performing automatic book-classification, the automation of library operation can be completed.

도서관 이용을 활성화시키고 도서관의 가치를 증대시키기 위한 방안의 하나로 도서관 마케팅이 주목을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전문도서관의 사서들이 도서관 마케팅과 PR에 관해 어떻게 인식하고 있는가에 대해 조사하였으며, 실제로 마케팅과 PR이 전문도서관 웹 사이트에서 어떤 형태와 수준으로 실행되고 있는지를 다양한 관점에서 비교 분석하였다. 선행연구를 통해 도출된 분석 프레임워크를 바탕으로 4개의 대범주와 19개의 세부항목으로 구성된 분석도구를 개발하였다. 마지막으로 전문도서관 웹 사이트에 나타난 분석결과를 토대로 디지털도서관에 적용할 수 있는 인터넷 마케팅 전략을 제시하였다.

Librarians long ago proclaimed themselves professionals. Until recently, however, librarians and information professionals gave very little thought to professional ethics, which have corne to play an increasingly important role in all areas in modern society. They have been stimulated to consider their specific domain within an ethical context now. Professional norms express obligations which include prescribing standards, principles of responsibilities, and rules of duties. Professional codes attempt to formulate the norms of professional ethics and are the basis for disciplinary measures of various kinds. This paper discusses professional properties and characteristics of libarianship with a special reference to the code of professional ethics. The codes of ethics of the American Library Association, the Library Association, and of the Japanese Library Association have been reviewed and compared. The arguments on the enforcibility of the professional codes of ethics, therefore, on their effectiveness have been discussed. Author concludes that, despite some doubts on the practical effectiveness of the ethics code expressed by a number of scholars, a code of ethics is very much required in the information professions. Properly disseminated, a code would enhance the status and standing of the profession by demonstrating concerns for the maintenance of the highest possible level of standards of professional services. It would also play an important role in raising consciousness of the clients by communicating the value of the works.

클라우드 컴퓨팅에서 발생된 클라우드 컬렉션은 네트워크상의 또는 물리적 형태의 플랫폼을 통해 도서관간 중복된 장서를 공동 보존 활용함으로써 새로운 가치를 창출시키는 프레임�p을 의미한다. 전자책 시장 활성화와 인쇄본의 소급 디지털화 경향은 라이선스 기반의 전자책 서비스와 도서관 소장 도서의 공동 활용을 추구하는 새로운 장서 관리 패러다임을 예고하고 있다. 본 연구는 디지털 보존과 인쇄본 공동 보존이 상보적 역할을 수행할 수 있는 클라우드 컬렉션의 개념에 대해 논의하고, 한국 대학도서관의 클라우드 컬렉션 도입 방향을 전망해 본다.

For many years art libraries have been concerned about the problem resulting from the addition of exhibition catalogs to general art collection. Those who work or research in the art field agree that exhibition catalogs are great value, and in many cases, the essays and documentary material contained in these catalogs may be the only source of information on particular artists. This paper contains two purposes. One is to settle the exhibition catalog as a specific form of publication in the library. In theoretical aspect, this material is handled in definition, form, historical development and the position and specification. Another is to manage exhibition catalog in the library. In practical aspect, this material is handled in aquisition, classification, cataloging and use.

The Bavarian town of Regensburg was a library travel destination during the European Enlightenment. With at least 26 collections, the number and variety of its private, governmental, school, and religious libraries rivaled that of much larger cities and figured in the bibliographic travel accounts of Johann Keyssler, Christoph Nicolai, Carl Oelrichs, Filippo Argellati, Georg Zapf, Friedrich Hirsching, Adalbert Blumenschein, and many others. The first-hand descriptions of these repositories are unique primary sources for the study of library history. Having been accessible to researchers largely in published forms, many were designed to serve as bibliographic aids for informing scholars about the locations of specialized subject collections and some individual works. The journals, letters, guidebooks, and texts also reflected the evolving scholarly and scientific nature of their cultural period. Overall, this case study of Regensburg’s libraries illustrates the particular value of contemporary travel literature.

In order to overcome the limitations of th 2D method regardless of the client's request, the application of BIM was reviewed to create hight-quality products using 3D models and various BIM information for offshore wind jacket-type structures. First, we defined the input value through analysis of the target structure and wrote an algorithm(script library) and library to complete the BIM model. Design review using geometry information based on th BIM model, usage for visualization drawings and quantity calculation were reviewed. For the purpose of initial review, only libraries with a limited number of subjects limitations on the scope of research were used. However, in the futrue, various libraries will be developed and research will be conducted to expand the scope of subjects.

본 연구는 변화된 방송환경에서 텔레비전 다큐멘터리 배경음악 사용에 대한 생산자들의 인식은 어떠하며, 배경음악 사용이 어떻게 변화되고 있는지를 14명의 생산자 심층인터뷰를 통해 알아보았다. 연구결과, 방송 디지털화에 따라 다큐멘터리 배경음악은 작곡음악보다는 라이브러리음악의 사용이 보편화되었다. 또한 다큐멘터리 음악은 작품성, 다양성, 편리성 등으로 라이브러리음악 사용이 점차 확대되고 있었다. 라이브러리음악의 보편화는 텔레비전 다큐멘터리 생산자들 간의 관계와 배경음악에 대한 인식의 변화를 가져와 연출자(PD)와 음악감독의 공동작업이었던 배경음악 생산은 편집영상을 이메일 등을 통해 쉽게 주고받을 수 있게 됨으로써 생산자 간의 커뮤니케이션이 사라진 채 업무가 분업화되고 있다. 다큐멘터리의 라이브러리 음악 사용은 결국 다양한 방송제작 주체들의 창조적 생산활동참여에 장애가 될 수 있으며 음악사용의 규격화와 프로그램의 질적 저하를 가져올 수 있다는 함의에 도달하였다.

The main purpose of the school library is to present the various kinds of instructional media for an effective instruction including not only books, but also audiovisual materials and equipments. But unfortunately our school libraries have only books for the students and faculties at this time. But hereafter school library should house the various kinds of audiovisual media as well as printed media for the promotion of scholarstic achivemint. With a view to promoting the teaching method, and at the same time improving the scholarstic achivement of the students, instructional media were used in the class. To verify the efficiency of the instructional media, transparencies were used in the social science class of the 1st grade in the middle school and the natural science class of the 1st grade in the high school. In consequence, the academic achievement of the experimental class in which instructional media were used is superior to that of controlled class in which the textbook was only used. In < Social Science I >, the mean difference between the experimental class and the controlled class is 4.199 marks. And the difference, 0.032 is verified as a significant value in concordance to the t-test. In < Natural Science I >, the mean difference of the experimental class over the controlled class is 6.333. And the difference, 0.034 is verified as a significant value in concordance to the t-test. As shown in the above experimental research, using various kinds of the instructional media is more efficient than using textbook only. As a result of the questionaire on using the instructional media, most of the students desire to use of them continually because the use of the instructional media induce the interest, promote the comprehension, and entice the development of better memories.

본 연구에서는 이용자들이 근현대사진기록 가치에 대한 인식조사와 근현대사진기록의 이용의사에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위해 일반이용자 95명을 대상으로 설문조사를 분석하였다. 독립변수로는 기록물의 증거적 가치, 정보적 가치, 이용적 가치, 그리고 실물적 가치를 설정하였다. 종속변수로는 근현대사진기록의 이용의사를 설정하여 독립요인들이 어떻게 사진기록 이용의사에 영향을 미치는지에 대해 다중회귀분석을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 실물적 가치와 정보적 가치가 근현대사진기록의 이용의사에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이런 연구결과는 추후 근현대 사진기록 아카이브를 구축하거나 관련 정책을 수립할 때 기초자료로 활용할 것으로 기대된다.
