This study purposes to identify how the 'selection' of library materials shold be changed in the electronic environment to improve library services fundamentally. The study scrutinized the essence of selection, the relationship between selection and collection management, and the results of various studies to define the selection. The study implies: 1) the selection must be changed to the function providing users with assessment information of library materials, which helps the users access to entire scholarly information. 2) the assessment information could be input from different libraries and used by all users connected to the library network.

이 연구는 대학 및 연구기관의 도서관들이 자원의 공동 활용을 위해 이용하는 과학기술분야 정보유통 체제의 기능과 역할 및 서비스 내용을 조사 분석 하는 것이다. 이러한 연구는 이 정보유통체제들의 활동과 서비스의 중복성 여부를 규명해서 중복투자에 의한 국가적 예산 낭비를 줄일 수 있도록 하고, 정보이용자 및 정보 관리자들에게는 필요한 서비스만을 이용하도록 하여 시간과 노력과 경비를 절감할 수 있도록 하는데 필요한 것이다. 연구 대상으로는 KISTI와 KERIS를 선정하고 연구하였다. 연구방법으로는 문헌적 연구와 온라인상의 기능을 확인하기 위한 실제 분석을 병행 하였다. 연구 결과, 정보유통체제들의 서비스 및 정보의 중복성이 부분적으로 확인 되었다. 도서관네트웍으로서의 기능도 수행하고 있는 것으로 평가하였다.

Researching behavior of users in public library is very important processing and their activities can be judged with the regard of required inner spaces and related those functions. The subject of this study is to examine the organization of inner spaces in public library and to propose the prototype of space composition in public library on the future. Not only the relation of space program of each library but also the network among public libraries are not connected efficiently. That's why the public library is not used as local cultural place. Usually, the organization of inner spaces has not been recognized and approached satisfactorily. As the result of the above researching, the function of the culture facilities should be connected to the open study-room which now using just for study. It will make users to recognize and approach public library easily.

Recently many documents have been written by HTML due to the expansion of the Internet and WWW. HTML allows scripting languages to interact between an user and an browser. Sometimes there might have problems with some functions of the script language. Some functions have the same name although the different contents and vice versa. It presents tremendous difficulties to maintain the functions. And, a file includes many functions shared among documents. If a user tries to see a HTML document, the file will be sent to the web browser in the user system. The network resource is wasted due to moving all data in the file through the network although some functions in the file is not used. So, we should design and implement the code library of a script language with a database. Each function has the name and arguments. A system of the code library manages functions with them. The system has the functions consistency and reduces the network resource consumption because there are only necessary functions in documents. Beside it is easy for the system to modify and reuse the functions.

웹 페이지를 구성하는 리소소의 개수와 크기가 점점 증가하고 있으며, 이는 상대적으로 지연이 큰 모바일 네트워크에서 웹 서비스의 급격한 품질 저하로 이어지고 있다. 게다가 현재의 네트워크 구조는 폐쇄적인 구조를 가지고 있기 때문에 웹 서비스의 품질을 향상시키는 프로토콜을 개발할지라도 네트워크 기능으로 제공하기 어렵다는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 네트워크에서 웹 성능을 향상시키기 위한 2가지 방안으로 Check Coded DOM 방안과 Functional JavaScript 전송 방안을 제안하고, NFV(Network Function Virtualization)를 활용하여 제안 방안이 네트워크 기능으로 제공될 수 있는 방안 모색 해본다. SMPL 라이브러리를 이용한 네트워크 시뮬레이션을 통해서 제안 방안의 성능을 평가하고 분석했으며, 제안 방안이 기존 HTTP 프로토콜보다 페이지 로딩 시간, 네트워크에 발생하는 메시지의 개수, 네트워크에 발생하는 트래픽 측면에서 향상된 성능을 제공함을 확인 할 수 있었다.

지식과 정보를 저장하고 전달하는 매체의 발달과 기술의 진보는 도서관의 기능을 다각적으로 변모시키고 있다. 즉 도서관은 전통적 도서관에서 발전하여 이용자가 도서관을 방문할 필요 없이 컴퓨터를 매개로 하여 자관의 전자정보는 물론 원거리의 도서관에 직접 접근하여 원하는 정보를 얻게 되는 전자도서관으로 향하고 있다. 본 연구는 전자도서관 서비스를 지향하는 관점에서 어느 정도 국내 대학도서관에서 전자정보를 구성, 활용하고 있는지를 알아보았다. 이를 위해 외국에서의 전자도서관 구축현황을 살펴 본 후 OPAC, 온라인 상용 데이터베이스, CD-ROM 데이터베이스, 전자문헌구축, 타 도서관 OPAC에의 접근, 기타 인터넷 정보자원을 그 구성요인으로 하여 모형을 제시하고 이를 토대로 국내 대학도서관의 실제 현황을 조사분석하였다.

이 논문에서는 Light-Weight Ethernet 기반 MiTS 네트워크에서 시스템 간의 통신 및 데이터 처리를 위한 프로토콜의 개발에 관한 내용을 다룬다. 개발을 위해, Light-Weight Ethernet 기반 MiTS 네트워크 프로토콜을 구성하는 NF 및 SF를 분석하고 그 내용을 바탕으로 라이브러리를 개발하며 검증한다. 프로토콜의 구성 요소인 NF는 UDP 기반의 멀티캐스팅 방식으로 데이터그램을 송/수신하는 역할을 하고 SF는 NF를 통해 송/수신된 메시지를 Sentence 및 바이너리 이미지로 구별하여 처리하는 역할을 한다.

본 연구는 언어 네트워크 분석을 통해 IFLA의 학교도서관 가이드라인의 언어적 의미를 파악하는데 목적이 있다. IFLA의 학교도서관 가이드라인은 2002년 초판과 2015년에 개정한 제2판이 있다. 본 연구는 학교도서관 가이드라인의 2002년판과 2015년판을 언어 네트워크의 관점에서 분석하고, 상호 비교하였다. 대상 테스트로부터 키워드들을 추출하고 동시출현관계를 바탕으로 언어 네트워크를 구성하였다. 동시출현 네트워크로부터 중심성(연결정도 중심성, 근접 중심성, 매개 중심성)을 분석하였다. 또한, 본 연구는 넷마이너4.0의 LDA 기능을 사용하여 토픽모델링 분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중심성 차원에서 비교해 보면, 2015년판에서 'Program, Teaching, Reading, Inquiry, Literacy, Media' 등의 키워드가 2002년판에 비해 높게 나타나고 있다. 둘째, 2002년판의 중심성 상위 리스트에서 보이지 않던 'Inquiry'와 'Achievement' 키워드가 2015년판의 연결정도 중심성과 근접중심성에 새롭게 출현하고 있다. 셋째, 토픽 모델링의 분석 결과, 2002년판에 비해 2015년판은 학교도서관 서비스, 사서교사의 교수학습 활동, 미디어 및 정보활용교육, 교육과정 참여 등에 관한 토픽의 비중이 높아지고 있다.

이 연구는 사회네트워크분석(SNA)을 사용하여 지역 내 다문화가족지원기관 간 협력네트워크의 구조를 파악하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 부산지역의 다문화가족지원센터, 공공기관, 공공도서관, 사회복지관, 기타 민간 영역의 다문화 관련 기관을 대상으로 정보 및 자료교환, 인적, 물적 교류, 재정지원, 공동사업, 행사참여에 대한 관계데이터를 수집하고, 이를 토대로 협력 네트워크의 구조적 특성을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 협력네트워크는 전반적으로 활성화되어 있지 않았으며, 일부 협력 유형의 경우 기능이나 성격, 역할이 유사한 기관들끼리만 협력이 이루어지고 있어 상당히 제한적인 네트워크 구조를 보이고 있었다. 또한 다문화 관련 기관들 중 공공기관과 다문화가족지원센터가 주로 네트워크에서 중심적인 역할을 수행하며, 이들 기관은 다른 기관들과 상대적으로 골고루 연결되어 있는 반면, 도서관의 경우 도서관 간 협력만 이루어지거나, 협력활동이 아예 없는 경우가 많았다. 따라서 도서관을 통한 효과적인 다문화 서비스를 위해 다른 기관들과의 협력과 교류를 활성화할 필요가 있다.

The modern telecommunication networks are composed of various network-type and are managed by various management technologies, such as TMN, SNMP, TINA etc. Furthermore, the network user's needs of real-time multimedia services are rapidly increasing. In order to guarantee the user-requested quality-of-service(QoS) and keep the network utilization at maximum, it is required to manage the network performance continuously after the network is deployed. The performance management function should provide the useful information for the network expansion and the capacity reallocation in the future. In this paper, we propose a DPE-based performance management architecture for the integrated management of the heterogeneous network elements with TMN and SNMP. We propose an approach to provide the Intranet traffic monitoring and analysis function using layered network management concept and distributed processing technology. The proposed architecture has been designed and implemented based on multiprocess and multithread structure to support concurrent processing. To manage the traffic according to the Intranet service categories, we implemented an ITMA(Intelligent Traffic Monitoring Agent) with packet capture library. With the proposed architecture, we could measure and analyze the real Intranet traffic of Yeungnam University.
