  • In this study, a hierarchical switching control scheme based on robust control theory is proposed for tracking control of vehicle longitudinal acceleration in the presence of large uncertainties. A model set consisting of four multiplicative-uncertainty models is set up, and its corresponding controller set is designed by the LMI approach, which can ensures the robust performance of the closed loop system under arbitray switching. Based on the model set and the controller set, a switching index function by estimating the system gain of the uncertainties between the plant and the nominal model is designed to determine when and which controller should be switched into the closed loop. After theoretical analyses, experiments have also been carried out to validate the proposed control algorithm. The results show that the control system has good performance of robust stability and tracking ability in the presence of large uncertainties. The response time is smaller than 1.5s and the max tracking error is about $0.05\;m/S^2$ with the step input.

  • In this paper, we prove that if $f^nf'\;-\;P$ and $g^ng'\;-\;P$ share 0 CM, where f and g are two distinct transcendental meromorphic functions, $n\;{\geq}\;11$ is a positive integer, and P is a nonzero polynomial such that its degree ${\gamma}p\;{\leq}\;11$, then either $f\;=\;c_1e^{cQ}$ and $g\;=\;c_2e^{-cQ}$, where $c_1$, $c_2$ and c are three nonzero complex numbers satisfying $(c_1c_2)^{n+1}c^2\;=\;-1$, Q is a polynomial such that $Q\;=\;\int_o^z\;P(\eta)d{\eta}$, or f = tg for a complex number t such that $t^{n+1}\;=\;1$. The results in this paper improve those given by M. L. Fang and H. L. Qiu, C. C. Yang and X. H. Hua, and other authors.

  • The roots of Juglans mandshurica Maximowicz (Juglandaceae) have been used as a folk medicine for treatment of cancer in Korea. Several naphthoquinones and naphthalenyl glucosides from Juglans species have been reported (1-7). In the course of isolating cytotoxic compounds from the roots of this plant. we have isolated six naphthalene glycosides. four tetralone, one naphthalene carboxylic acid glucoside and nine diarylheptanoids (8-13). • A new biflavonol glycoside named as solanoflavone (1) was isolated from aerial part of Solanum melongena. The chemical structure was elucidated as isorhamnetin-3-O-$\beta$-D-glucopyranoside-(4'$\to$O$\to$4"')-galangin-3"-O-$\to$-D-glucopyranoside on the basis of physicochemical and spectroscopic methods, including 2D NMR spectral techniques.

  • The bioactivity-guided fractionation of an active methylene chloride extract of the sclerotium of Poria cocos led to the isolation of compounds 1-5. These compounds were tested in the human colon carcinoma and human breast carcinoma cell lines, compounds 3, 4, and 5 exhibited IC50 values of 10.8, 15.4, and 5.1 $\mu\textrm{g}$/$m\ell$ against human colon carcinoma cell line. In addition, compounds 3, 4 and 5 showed moderate activities as inhibitors of Topoisomerase I and all compounds were inactive in the Topoisomerase II inhibition.

  • The bioassay-guided fractionation of protective agents against sepsis-induced lethality from the root cortex of Paeonia suffruticosa ANDREWS (Ranunculaceae) led to the isolation of eight known compounds: paeonol (1), 2,5-dihydroxy-4-methoxyacetophenone (2), acetovanillone (3), paeonoside (4), paeoniflorin (5), oxypaeoniflorin (6), apiopaeonoside (7), and methyl 3-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzoate (8). Among them, 3 showed the highest survival rate (100% with a dose of 30 mg/kg versus 17% for the control experiment) and reduced alanine aminotransferase level to be a half of the control value on the sepsis model induced by lipopolysaccharide/D-galactosamine.

  • This paper is mainly concerned with the existence of solution for nonlinear impulsive fractional dynamic equations on a special time scale. We introduce the new concept and propositions of fractional q-integral, q-derivative, and α-Lipschitz in the paper. By using a new fixed point theorem, we obtain some new existence results of solutions via some generalized singular Gronwall inequalities on time scales. Further, an interesting example is presented to illustrate the theory.

  • By using the generalized Riccati transformation and the inequality technique, we establish some new oscillation criterion for the second-order nonlinear delay dynamic equations $$(a(t)(x^{\Delta}(t))^{\gamma})^{\Delta}+q(t)f(x({\tau}(t)))=0$$ on a time scale $\mathbb{T}$, here ${\gamma}{\geq}1$ is the ratio of two positive odd integers with $a$ and $q$ real-valued positive right-dense continuous functions defined on $\mathbb{T}$. Our results not only extend and improve some known results, but also unify the oscillation of the second-order nonlinear delay differential equation and the second-order nonlinear delay difference equation.

  • A dataset can be clustered by merging the bucket indices that come from the random projection of locality sensitive hashing functions. It should be noted that for this to work the merging interval must be calculated first. To improve the feasibility of large scale data clustering in high dimensional space we propose an enhanced Locality Sensitive Hashing Clustering Method. Firstly, multiple hashing functions are generated. Secondly, data points are projected to bucket indices. Thirdly, bucket indices are clustered to get class labels. Experimental results showed that on synthetic datasets this method achieves high accuracy at much improved cluster speeds. These attributes make it well suited to clustering data in high dimensional space.

  • This paper is concerned with oscillation property of solutions of a class of second order nonlinear differential equations with perturbation. Four new theorems of oscillation property are established. These results develop and generalize the known results. Among these theorems, two theorems in the front develop the results by Yan J(Proc Amer Math Soc, 1986, 98: 276-282), and the last two theorems in this paper are completely new for the second order linear differential equations.
