Application of Fuzzy Algorithm with Learning Function to Nuclear Power Plant Steam Generator Level Control

  • A direct method of fuzzy inference and a fuzzy algorithm with learning function are applied to the steam generator level control of nuclear power plant. The fuzzy controller by use of direct inference can control the steam generator in the entire range of power level. There is a little long response time of fuzzy direct inference controller at low power level. The rule base of fuzzy controller with learning function is divided into two parts. One part of the rule base is provided to level control of steam generator at low power level (0%∼30% of full power). Response time of steam generator level control at low power level with this rule base is shown generator level control at low power level with this rule base is shown to be shorter than that of fuzzy controller with direct inference.

  • In this paper, the design of boiler drum level control system is important in power plant is studied. First of all, pressure compansation of level for boiler drum which is close tank with high temperature and pressure is designed. Physical penomena of drum level are analysed, controllers are designed, and simulation results are shown. Designed controller have a good performance compare with PI controller. Predictive controller of boiler drum level control system is proposed. It will be good system for boiler drum level control to reject the disturbance according to lead increase or decrease.

  • In this paper constant-level luffing and time optimal control of a JIB crane is investigated. The crane is assumed to have only the derricking motion. the analysis of plance kinematics provides the relationship between the boom angle and the main hosit motor angle for constant-level luffing. The dynamic equations for the crane are very nonlimear, and therefore they are linearized for the application of the linear control theory. The time optimal control in the perspective of no-sway at the end of boom stroke is investigated.

  • In this paper the modeling and control of a twin roll strip caster is investigated. Mathematical models for the strip casting process are obtained by analyzing five critical areas such that the molten steel level in the pool, solidification process, roll separating force and torque, roll dynamics including hydraulic actuators, and roll drive system. A two-level control strategy is proposed. At lower level, three local subsystems are independently feedback-controlled by suitable local controllers which perform well to the behaviors of each subsystem. They are a variable structure control of the molten steel level in the pool, an adaptive predictive control of the roll gap which is directly related to the strip thickness, and an $H^{\infty}$ control of the roll drive system. At higher level, all reference signals to the lower level subsystems are generated by an optimal controller in the perspective of regulating the strip thickness and roll separating force.   • It is well known that steam generator water level control at low power operation has many difficulties in a PWR (pressurized water reactor) nuclear power plant. The reverse process responses known as shrink and swell effects make it difficult to control the steam generator water level at low power. A new automatic control logic to remove the reverse process responses is proposed in this paper. It is implemented in PLC (programmable logic controller) and evaluated by using test equipment in Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute. The simulation test shows that the performance requirements is met at low power (below 15%). The water level control by new control logic is stabilized within 1% fluctuation from setpoint, while the water level by YGN 3 and 4 control logic is unstable with the periodic fluctuation of 25% magnitude at 5% power.

특성화고 '화학공정유지운영' 교과를 위한 조립형 액위제어 실험장치 및 체험활동과제 개발 (Development of an Assembly-type Liquid Level Control Experimental Equipment and a Hands-on Activity Task for Vocational High School 'Chemical Process Maintenance Operation' Subject)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 화학공업을 공부하는 학생들이 액위제어를 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 하기 위해, 조립형 액위제어 실험장치를 제작하고 이를 수업에 적용할 수 있는 체험활동과제를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2015 개정 교육과정 화학공업 실무과목에서 액위제어와 관련된 내용요소를 분석하여, 조립형 액위제어 실험장치를 활용하는 체험 활동과제를 개발하여 전문가 검증을 마친 후, 16차시의 체험활동과제를 S 마이스터고등학교 학생 19명에게 적용하였다. 이 연구에서 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기존 완성형 액위제어 실험장치를 분석하고, 이를 토대로 학생 수준에서 조립 가능하며 실습에 활용할 수 있는 새로운 조립형 액위제어 실험장치를 설계·제작하였다. 둘째. 2015 개정 교육과정의 NCS기반 '화학공정유지운영' 실무과목의 내용을 분석하여 액위제어와 관련된 학습 내용들을 추출하였다. 이 액위제어 관련 내용 중에서 공정 흐름도의 이해, 액위제어 실험장치 제작, 유량 측정, 액위제어 현상 확인 등의 실습을 위 조립형 액위제어 실험장치로 진행하여 액위제어 관련 내용을 체계적으로 학습할 수 있도록 하였다.

가시광통신 시스템에서 조명/통신 기능을 위한 효과적인 Dimming level control 기법 (Dimming Level Control Technique for Lighting / Communication Functions in Visible Light Communication Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 가시광 통신시스템에서 조명과 통신의 성능을 동시에 만족하기 위한 Dimming level control 기법을 연구하였다. 일반적으로 가장 많이 사용되는 OOK와 RZ-OOK변조 방식의 경우, 연속적인 Burst Zero Duration이 발생하면 조명 기능이 심각하게 저하된다. 이는 조명뿐만 아니라 시스템 전체의 성능을 열하시키는 원인이 된다. 본 연구를 통해, 기존 시스템의 Dimming level특성을 분석하고, Dimming level을 높이기 위한 기법으로 Illegal Pulse Insertion(IPI) 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 이를 통해, Dimming level을 효과적으로 제어하고 기존 변복조 시스템에서 나타나는 플리커(flicker) 현상과 Dimming level 감소를 해결하여 조명과 통신 양쪽 모두의 QoS를 향상 시킬 수 있다.

  • In the continuous casting process, mold level fluctuation Is the major cause of the surface and sub-surface defects. In the No.3 bloom continuous caster at Kobe Works, we ensured that the major cause of mold level fluctuation was mechanical hysteresis which existed in the driving system of mold level control. Moreover, we found out that it was possible to greatly Improve the stability of mold level by estimating this mechanical hysteresis and compensating It on-line. As a result of applying a new level control system based on this method, we got accurate control over good stability.

수학학습에서 초등학교 6학년 학생들의 의지통제와 부모의 심리적 통제의 관계 분석 (Analysis of Correlation between Volition Control in Mathematics Learning and Parental Psychological Control of 6th Grade Elementary School Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to see correlation between parental psychological control and volition control in mathematics learning of 6th grade of elementary school. This study has carried out a survey for 371 male and female students in 6th grade of elementary school in Gyeongnam. We analyzed the collected data statistically, and the results are as follows. First, there was a significant difference in the level of volition control in mathematics learning between male and female students. The level of volition control in mathematics learning was found to be higher in female groups than in male groups. Second, there was no significant difference in father and mother's psychological control level perceived by 6th grade elementary school students. Third, there was a significant negative correlation between parental psychological control and their children's level of volition control in mathematics learning. In this study, by examining the correlation between parental psychological control and volition control level in mathematics learning of elementary school students, the higher the parental psychological control, the lower the level of volition control of their children. So, that it is important to have a parenting attitude that respects their children's emotion and expression.

  • The paper studies design of a decentralized supervisory controller with 2-level hierarchical structure for complex discrete event systems. Hierarchical structure with strict output-control-consistency(SOCC) gives a more abstract model for high-level control. The decentralized controller for a simple and abstract high-level system is designed more easily if the decentralized supervisory control problem in 2-level hierarchical structure systems(DSCP2) is solvable.
