  • 산업화 이후 무분별한 자원 개발로 인해 쓰레기 배출량은 증가하였으나 그 양을 감당할 쓰레기통의 개수는 부족하다. 그리고 쓰레기통이 있음에도 불구하고 시민의식 부족으로 인해 일반 쓰레기와 재활용쓰레기가 같이 버려져 있는 상태를 흔히 볼 수 있다. 작은 예로 자취하고 있는 대학생들 자취방 앞이나 상가 건물 앞에 분류되지 않고 아무렇게나 버려져있는 쓰레기들을 많이 볼 수 있다. 이는 환경 미화원이 직접 재분류를 하고 청소하는데 시간과 인력 비용이 낭비하게 된다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제점들을 개선하고 보완하고자 쓰레기를 자동으로 분리수거할 수 있는 '자동 분리수거가 가능한 쓰레기통'기술을 제안한다. 이는 분리수거율을 증가시키고 분리수거 다시 할 불필요한 시간과 인력과 예산을 줄일 수 있고 재활용된 자원을 사용하여 생산 자원을 줄여 원가 절감효과와 에너지 소비를 줄일 수 있다. 이로 인해 자원을 생산할 때 발생하는 탄소와 온실가스 방출량을 감소시켜 지구 온난화를 예방할 수 있다.

A Statistical Study on the Fatigue Behaviors of Nitro-Carburized SCM415 (침탄질화 처리된 SCM415재의 피로거동에 대한 통계적 연구)

  • Due to their high strength and good wear resistance, nitro-carburizing materials have been used for many machine components. However, the nitro-carburizing materials are found to have one disadvantage ; that is, their strength and fatigue life show larger scatter than those of non-heated metals. In this paper, therfore, the statistical chracteristics of non-heated and nitro-carburized specimens for SCM415 are investi- gated under two different of stress levels 1.15 .sigma. /sub .omega. / .leq. / .sigma. / sub .alpha. / .leq. / 1.25 .sigma. /sub .omega. /. Seven specimens at each stress level are tested by using rotating bending fatigue tester. The relation between a crack length and fatigue cycles can be arranged for Weibull distribution, and S-N curve using 95% reliability function is obtalined for nitro-carburized specimen.

Short Crack Analysis by Fatigue Crack Opening Behavior (피로균열개구거동을 이용한 짧은균열의 거동 분석)

  • The characteristics of fatigue crack growth subject to out-of-plane bending fatigue are studied in terms of crack opening behavior by using pre-cracked smooth specimens. Crack opening stress is measured by an elastic compliance method which may precisely and continuously provide many date using strain gages during experiment. The results of the short crack and the long crack arranged by crack closure concept show that the effective stress gange ratio of short crack is grester than that of long crack, and ano- malous growth behavior of short crack may be elucidated by the variation of crack opening stress. When the variation of fatigue crack growth rate is arranged versus effective stress intensity factor range. Iinear relation is held also for the short crack. It shows that growth behavior of short crack can be quantitatively represent- ed by the fracture mechanics parameter using effective stress intensity factor range.

  • In this study, the accuracy of the assembly rate of fine aggregate and the cleavage rate of coarse aggregate was analyzed using the constructed learning data. As a result, it was possible to predict the distribution of assembly rate for fine aggregate through a simple sample collection image, showing an accuracy of 96%. The classification of the aggregates could be confirmed by analyzing the fracture shape of the gravel, showing an accuracy of 97%.

  • 본 논문에서는 SEEN 보안운영체제 시스템에서 접근통제 정책관리 도구의 설계 및 구현한 내용을 설명한다. 보안운영체제에 대한 지식이 부족한 보안 관리자가 정책을 설정하고 적용하는 데에 많은 어려움이 따른다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 정책 적용 및 정책 설정의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 접근통제 정책관리 처리에 대한 것을 사용자가 쉽게 파악 할 수 있고 친숙한 그래픽 기반의 형태로 특별한 지식이 없는 사용자와 보안 관리자들에게 시스템을 효율적이고 편리하게 사용할 수 있도록 한다.

Selective Cu Electrodeposition on Micrometer Trenches Using Microcontact Printing and Additives

  • Selective deposition was performed on a micrometer trench pattern using a microcontact printing (μCP) process. Alkanethiols required for selective deposition were analyzed according to the carbon chain by linear sweep voltammetry (LSV). According to the LSV analysis, the effect of inhibiting Cu deposition depending on the length of the carbon chain was observed. During the Cu electrodeposition, the trench could be filled without voids by additives (PEG, SPS, JGB) in the plating solution. A μCP process suppressing the deposition of the sample was used for selective Cu electrodeposition. However, there was oxidation and instability of the sample and 1-hexadecanethiol in air. To overcome these problems, the μCP method was performed in a glove box to achieve effective inhibition.

Preparations of Universal, Functionalized Long-Chain Alkylthiol Linkers for Self-assembled Monolayers (자기조립단분자막을 위한 보편적이고 기능화된 긴 사슬 알킬티올 연결자의 제조)

  • In this research, the preparation processes for making a series of $\omega$-mercapto alkylamine 1 and $\omega$-mercapto alkanoic acid 2 useful for studying of the self-assembled monolayer(SAM) are described. The preparation methods of the first goal materials, $\omega$-mercapto alkylamines 1 were carried out as follows: First, $\omega$-phthalimide alkanol 3 was synthesized from commercially available potassium phthalimide derivatives and $\omega$-bromoalkanol in DMF at $80{^{\circ}C}$ via substitution reaction. After refluxing $\omega$-phthalimide alkanol 3 with hydrazine hydrate in ethanol followed by treating with c-HCl, $\omega$-aminoalkanol 4 was obtained in 76-98% yield, accompanied with side-product 5. Bromination of hydroxyl moiety of $\omega$-aminoalkanol 4 using aqueous hydrobromic acid furnished $\omega$-bromoamine 6 in 34-97% yields. Substitution reaction 6 with thiourea in 95% ethanol gave $\omega$-aminoalkanthiuronium 7, which was treated with aqueous strong base and aqueous strong sulfuric acid gave desired products, $\omega$-mercapto alkylamines 1 through overall 5 steps. The second target material, $\omega$-mercapto alkanoic acid 2 was prepared via 2 steps. $\omega$-bromo alkanoic acid was reacted with thiourea to give $\omega$-thiourea alkanoic acid 7 in 69-85%, which was treated with aqueous strong base and strong acid to furnish $\omega$-mercapto alkanoic acid 2 in 50-98%. The fabricated long-chain alkylthiol(LCAT) can be used as linkers to immobilize protein, enzyme and various kinds of biomolecules on the surface of metallic materials(Au, Pt, Ti) by SAM, and can be useful chemical tools for the application study on the surface modification of metallic materials.

Land Cover Classification of Coastal Area by SAM from Airborne Hyperspectral Images (항공 초분광 영상으로부터 연안지역의 SAM 토지피복분류)

  • Image data collected by an airborne hyperspectral camera system have a great usability in coastal line mapping, detection of facilities composed of specific materials, detailed land use analysis, change monitoring and so forh in a complex coastal area because the system provides almost complete spectral and spatial information for each image pixel of tens to hundreds of spectral bands. A few approaches after classifying by a few approaches based on SAM(Spectral Angle Mapper) supervised classification were applied for extracting optimal land cover information from hyperspectral images acquired by CASI-1500 airborne hyperspectral camera on the object of a coastal area which includes both land and sea water areas. We applied three different approaches, that is to say firstly the classification approach of combined land and sea areas, secondly the reclassification approach after decompostion of land and sea areas from classification result of combined land and sea areas, and thirdly the land area-only classification approach using atmospheric correction images and compared classification results and accuracies. Land cover classification was conducted respectively by selecting not only four band images with the same wavelength range as IKONOS, QuickBird, KOMPSAT and GeoEye satelllite images but also eight band images with the same wavelength range as WorldView-2 from 48 band hyperspectral images and then compared with the classification result conducted with all of 48 band images. As a result, the reclassification approach after decompostion of land and sea areas from classification result of combined land and sea areas is more effective than classification approach of combined land and sea areas. It is showed the bigger the number of bands, the higher accuracy and reliability in the reclassification approach referred above. The results of higher spectral resolution showed asphalt or concrete roads was able to be classified more accurately.

Leiomyosarcoma of the Mandible : Report of a Case (하악골에 발생한 평활근육종)

  • Leiomyosarcoma is extremely rare in the oral cavity and especially in the mandible. At first. the case of this report was diagnosed as odontogenic fibroma but after approximately 3.5 years. it was diagnosed as leiomyosarcoma. Conventional radiograph of the first time showed an ill-defined radiolucent lesion in the mandible. After local recurrence. CT images showed a large irregular soft tissue mass with some necrotic areas. These findings were not specific for leiomyosarcoma, but they suggested that this lesion was a recurrent soft tissue sarcoma. Histopathological examinations using H & E staining, immunohistochemical staining and Masson's trichrome staining confirmed this case as leiomyosarcoma. Deciding its malignancy or benignancy, defining the tumor extent and its relationship to the surrounding anatomic structures, and evaluating the distant metastasis are more important roles of radiographic examination than finding out the name of disease.
