Resolving the integer ambiguity of GPS carrier phase measurements is the most important routine in precise positioning. In this paper, success rate is analyzed when using baseline information in the process of determining attitude. The result is verified through the simulation. Determining the initial position for the ambiguity resolution is estimated by using code measurement and baseline constraint. Success rate is estimated using covariance of the formed initial position. UKF has been used to overcome the nonlinear baseline condition during the process so that the higher success rate has been obtained compared with the general attitude determination.

The concept of the manipulability measure of the robotic mechanism is extended to the dual arm holding a single object. This is a measure of manipulating ability of the dual arm forming a closed kinematic chain in positioning and orienting the object. Dual arm manipulability measure is defined and compared to the single arm manipulability measure, and some properties are investigated.

We present a fiber laser sensor that uses a fiber grating as a strain sensor head and an end-reflector of the laser cavity. A passive wavelength. The long-period grating band-rejection filter showed a wide usable filter wavelength range of about 25 nm, and the intensity of transmitted light increased by 16% for 1nm sensor wavelength shift in trhe measurement range.

As mentioned above, I have acquired some valuable results about medical treatments with acupuncture for "Tennis elbow" after studying oriental medical books. 1. In "HungTiNeiChing", there was called "joo-ryun" and "joo-mang" related to "Tennis elbow". 2. The medriens which remedy for 'tennis elbow' are as follow : 'Soo-yangmyoung', 'Soo-soyang', 'Soo-taeeum', 'Soo-gueleum', 'Chok-taeyang', 'Soo-taeyang' and 'Soo-soeum' in the order of frequency of use. 3. The acupuncture points which remady for 'tennis elbow' are as follow : 'Gok-ji', 'Soo-sam-ri', 'Joo-ryo', 'Hap-gok' and 'Woe-kwan' in the order of frequency of use. 4. Medical treatment with acupuncture is based on occuring area of pain and path of 'Kyoung-Rak'.

In this paper, as a conceptual design of the catenary-current collection run tester which is planning to be constructed by KRRI, the feasibility study is described. In this study, reviews to determine the propulsion linear motor rating based on the target distance-speed curve through various simulation of LSM propulsion system were conducted. Moreover, the reviews of simulation results and desirable linear motor specifications are discussed in this paper.

High-rise buildings have some problems by stack effect. And, the solutions on the problems should be determined by considering an overall building. But, ordinarily, the countermeasures on the problems are applied to local part of the building. Local countermeasures often can be possible to arouse the secondary problems accompanied by the stack-effect. In this study, the usefulness of local countermeasures are evaluated in terms of both the reduction effect on problems and the possible secondary problems with simulations. The simulation results show that the application of countermeasures on an overall building is very important and that local countermeasures can be used optionally according to building's conditions.

Quantum Well Disordering (QWD) has drawn a considerable attention in recent years$^{(1-3)}$ due to its wide applicability to optoelectronic devices. QWD allows modification of the shape of QW in selected regions, hence it modifies the subband energies in conduction and valance bands$^{(4)}$ . This leads to changes in optical properties such as band gap, absorption coefficient and refractive index. Thus such disordering in selected areas enables monolithic integration of various optoelectronic devices such as lasers, EA/EO modulators, waveguides and optical amplifiers. In this paper, we investigate the quantum well disordering effects on photoluminescence spectra by using experimental measurements and theoretical analysis$^{(5)}$ . (omitted)

6-Hydroxykynurenic acid and ginkgolide B together with flavonol glycosides and biflavonoids were isolated from the yellow leaves of Ginkgo biloba and identified by means of spectroscopic methods. The correctness of $H{\"{o}}lzl's$ ${13}^C-NMR$ assignments for 6-hydroxykynurenic acid was confirmed by HMQC and HMBC techniques. Based on our present findings, it may be considered that the yellow Ginkgo leaves may contribute to be a source of high medicinal values.

The types of responses which are generally measured in the modal testing are displacement, velocity or acceleration. In strain modal testing, however, strain responses subject to excitation forces are measured. In this paper, the characteristics of strain modal testing are investigated experimentally. Investigated are the effects of frequency range, excitation force level, and excitation signal on the quality of measured strain frequency response functions. It has been shown that a strain FRF at a point can be predicted from displacement FRFs and strain FRFs at other points.
