오늘날 가상학습공동체에서 이루어지는 협동학습의 교육적 가치와 활용은 활발히 논의되고 있다. 인터넷 기반 협동학습이 성공적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 높은 수준의 상호작용 도구가 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 네트웍 클라이언트들(News, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, 음성 문자 채팅)의 불편한 인터페이스를 개선하였으며, 이들을 통합환경에서 이용할 수 있도록 통합브라우저를 설계 구현하였다. 그리하여 인터넷 기반 협동학습과 면대면 협동학습 사이의 학습환경의 차이를 줄이고 학습효과를 높이고자 하였다.

10대 학생들의 지속적인 인터넷 이용률 상승과 높은 온라인 커뮤니티 참여율을 고려할 때, 그들이 인터넷 이용을 통해 경험할 수 있는 역기능을 최소화하고 긍정적인 경험을 쌓을 수 있도록 지도하는 것이 필요하다. 학생들은 온라인 커뮤니티 활동을 통해서 다양한 사회성을 경험하고, 자아성을 탐색할 수 있다. 그러나 다른 한편으로, 학생들을 대상으로 하는 상당수의 온라인 커뮤니티들이 사회적인 배려와 관심을 제공하지 못하여 학생들의 가치관 혼란이나 잘못된 행동을 유도하기도 한다. 이러한 문제를 고려하여, 본 연구는 10대 학생들의 요구를 수용하면서 동시에 그들의 요구를 학습 활동과 연계할 수 있는 온라인 학습 커뮤니티에 초점을 두고, 활발한 공동체 활동과 학습 활동을 진행할 수 있는 온라인 학습 커뮤니티를 설계하고 개발하였다. 커뮤니티는 운영 취지를 소개하고, 알림방, 요구함 등을 제시하는 'e-Tivity소개', '이벤트홀' '자료파크' 'e-Tivity센터' 등으로 구성된 커뮤니티 활동 공간, '교사연구실' '관리실'로 구성된 교사와 관리자 공간, 'My Room' 아바타 꾸미기 등의 기능을 제공하는 학생 개인 공간 등으로 구성되었다.

The career choices of medical students are significant for both individual students and society, which relies on a robust public healthcare system. Medical schools should provide a conducive environment and diverse information to enable students to make mature career decisions. Yonsei University College of Medicine conducts extracurricular programs for students' career development, including the Career Choice Expo, Career Path Survey, Special Lecture on Career Development, and a Visible Radio Show focused on career counseling. Additionally, the intracurricular activities offered by the college include career advising to students through faculty advisors in learning communities based on students' reflective writing about career-related activities. Medical students, in the process of forming their career decisions, compare what they have learned in the medical school curriculum with information acquired through extracurricular activities, taking into consideration their individual characteristics. Through longitudinal discussions with faculty advisors in learning communities, medical students not only gain recognition for the validity of their exploratory activities but also develop a sense of self-efficacy in making career decisions. The career education program at Yonsei University College of Medicine aligns with recent perspectives emphasizing the integration of career counseling for medical students into the curriculum in order to increase effectiveness.

본 연구에서는 과학교사모임을 실천공동체의 한 형태로 보고, 과학교사모임에서 주요 활동을 하고 있는 6명의 교사들을 대상으로 그들의 교사모임 참여 경험과 교사로서의 정체성 형성과정을 살펴보았다. 참여 교사들의 내러티브를 탐색하기 위해 참여 교사들과 2-3회에 걸친 개별 면담을 실시하였다. 면담 내용을 바탕으로 그들의 참여 경험을 Lave와 Wenger의 실천공동체 이론 관점에서 분석하였다. 연구결과, 참여교사들은 교사모임이라는 실천공동체에 참여함으로 인해 동료들과 사회적 관계를 형성하고 같은 목적을 공유하고 실천을 구성해나갔다. 이런 과정에서 그들은 공동체 속에의 몰입을 경험하며 능동적이고 자발적으로 본인의 잠재된 능력을 발휘하고 지식을 구축해 나갔다. 참여 교사들은 교사모임에서 자신이 체득한 교수 학습 방법에 대해 단순히 이야기 하는 것을 넘어, 자료집을 개발하거나 연수를 실시하는 등 지식과 경험을 객체화하였다. 이러한 과정은 교사모임의 정체성을 더욱 뚜렷하게 할 뿐만 아니라 모임에 참여하는 교사들이 다양한 형태의 궤적을 그리면서 교사로서의 정체성을 형성해 나가도록 도왔다. 본 연구의 결과는 교사교육에 대한 많은 시사점을 줄 수 있다.

이 연구는 델파이 분석을 활용하여 스쿠버다이빙 교육현장의 이러닝 활용실태와 개선방안을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이러닝으로 스쿠버다이빙 교육활동을 진행하고 있는 스쿠버다이빙 교육단체 소속 스쿠버다이빙센터 및 리조트의 경영대표, 교육팀장 등 운영에 관련된 전문가 25명을 대상으로 3차례에 델파이 조사를 진행하였다. 이러닝 활용실태와 개선방안 요인을 비교 분석한 결과 활용 기대효과에서는 사용자의 편의성 증대, 학습활동의 시간적 유연성, 상품에 대한 접근성 용이가 중요 요인으로 나타났으며, 문제점에서는 단순한 필수시험 합격, 단순한 설명의 피드백으로 전문성 결여, 학습자와 교수자 간 양방향 커뮤니케이션 미비가 중요 요인으로 나타났다. 개선방안에서는 다양한 온라인 커뮤니티를 연계한 소통, 필수시험은 오프라인으로 실시, 다양한 콘텐츠 개발이 중요 요인으로 나타났으며, 발전방향에서는 주기적인 프로그램 품질평가 실시, 다양한 다이빙 커뮤니티로의 연계, 담당 튜터 배정이 중요 요인으로 나타났다.

이러닝에서의 커뮤니티 활동이 학습 참여도에 어떤 영향을 주며, 학습 만족에는 어느 정도 효과가 있는지에 대한 연구 자료를 바탕으로 연구 성과를 분석한다. 기존 연구로는 커뮤니티 활동의 특성과 학습 동기유발 수단, 학습참여도에 관한 내용을 기초로 정리하였으며, 커뮤니티 활동을 통해 친밀감을 형성하고, SMS, e-mail 등 학습수단이 학습참여도에 영향을 줄 수 있는 요인임을 알 수 있다.

Knowledge can be more meaningful when it is shaped and personalized through interaction with others. Implementation of open learning environments such as open courseware or shared knowledge communities has gradually become more common. A case study which investigated instructors' experiences and perceptions of publishing and using open courseware in the classroom was conducted at a university in Korea. Responses from participating students and an evaluation group regarding how they perceived open learning environments were also examined. Based on the inductive analysis of the data, this study discusses advantages and challenges of publishing open courseware and collaborative learning environments. Also, practical guidelines for developing reusable learning materials are suggested.

Cognitive psychology has provided valuable theoretical perspectives on learning mathematics. Based on the metaphor of the mind as an information processing device, educators and psychologists have developed detailed models of competence in a variety of areas of mathematical skill and understanding. Unquestionably, these models are an asset in thinking about the curriculum we want our students to follow. But any psychological paradigm has aspects of learning and knowledge that it accounts for well, and others that it accounts for less well. For instance, the paradigm of cognitive science gives us valuable models of the knowledge we want our students to acquire; but in picturing the mind as a computational device it reduces us to conceiving of learning in individualist terms. It is less useful in helping us develop effective learning communities in our classrooms. In this paper I review some of the significant accomplishments of cognitive psychology for mathematics education, and some of the directions that situated cognition theorists are taking in trying to understand knowing and learning in terms that blend individual and social perspectives.

Educational technology (ET) and learning sciences (LS) are two related disciplines that have shared interests in studying technologies for advancing human learning. This study conducted a content analysis of articles published in authoritative academic journals, Educational Technology Research and Development (ETR&D) and Journal of the Learning Sciences (JLS) from 2003 to 2012. By selecting and examining 93 issues with 429 articles during this decade with three analytical frameworks, the purpose of this study is to determine research trends precisely and create a scientific communication and theoretical connections for these two disciplines. The illustrated results indicate the dialogue between these two communities has begun yet accompanied by some certain limitations, whereas, they still need be more cooperative and communicational to move towards further integration, so as to contribute to promoting progressive education, learning theory and practice.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the value perception changes of early adolescents, who are from 5th grades to 7th grades regarding to agriculture and rural communities through debate education. Since current education policy to educate agricultural value is limited in solving stereotypes and acquiring abundant relevant knowledge about agricultural values, this study tried to test the effect of debate education for the change of value perception of early adolescents about agriculture and rural communities. Through the two weeks of a debate education course, the differences of perception changes between the experimental group and control group were analyzed. As a result, education on agriculture and rural communities through debate has a great influence on the change of value perception and thus, it could be used as a supplementary educational method for literacy education and field trip learning. Lastly, limitations and implications for the study is discussed.
