Machine Learning Methodology for Management of Shipbuilding Master Data

  • The continuous development of information and communication technologies has resulted in an exponential increase in data. Consequently, technologies related to data analysis are growing in importance. The shipbuilding industry has high production uncertainty and variability, which has created an urgent need for data analysis techniques, such as machine learning. In particular, the industry cannot effectively respond to changes in the production-related standard time information systems, such as the basic cycle time and lead time. Improvement measures are necessary to enable the industry to respond swiftly to changes in the production environment. In this study, the lead times for fabrication, assembly of ship block, spool fabrication and painting were predicted using machine learning technology to propose a new management method for the process lead time using a master data system for the time element in the production data. Data preprocessing was performed in various ways using R and Python, which are open source programming languages, and process variables were selected considering their relationships with the lead time through correlation analysis and analysis of variables. Various machine learning, deep learning, and ensemble learning algorithms were applied to create the lead time prediction models. In addition, the applicability of the proposed machine learning methodology to standard work hour prediction was verified by evaluating the prediction models using the evaluation criteria, such as the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and Root Mean Squared Logarithmic Error (RMSLE).

  • 최첨단 정보통신 기술의 급속한 발전과 구성주의 학습 이론을 기반으로 등장한 원격 교육에서는 학습자가 자신의 학습 과정을 주관함으로써 자신에게 필요한 지식과 기술을 습득하는 자기주도적 학습이 이루어진다. 그러나 웹 기반 원격 교육이나 구성주의에서 학습자 중심적, 주도적 학습을 강조 했을 때 그것이 곧 교사로부터의 해방이나 자유방임적 교육을 의미하는 것은 아니다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 교사 에이전트를 활용하여 학습자를 다양한 수준별로 지도할 수 있는 원격 교육 시스템 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 제안하는 모델에서 교사 에이전트는 학습자 정보를 바탕으로 학습자 개개인의 학습 수준에 맞는 학습 모델을 생성하고 평가에 의해 학업 성취 정도를 파악하여 다음 단계로의 학습 진행 여부를 제어한다. 이를 통하여 웹기반 원격 교육이 제공하는 학습 자원이 아무 목적없이 정보 검색 자체로 활용되는 문제점을 해결하고 진정한 학습자 중심의 교육을 실현할 수 있는 기반을 마련할 수 있다.

  • In this paper, we propose a logical control-based actor-critic algorithm as an efficient approach for the approximation of the capacitated fab scheduling problem. We apply the average reward temporal-difference learning method for estimating the relative value functions of system states, while avoiding deadlock situation by Banker's algorithm. We consider the Intel mini-fab re-entrant line for the evaluation of the suggested algorithm and perform a numerical experiment by generating some sample system configurations randomly. We show that the suggested method has a prominent performance compared to other well-known heuristics.

  • Plastics are classified into 7 types such as PET (PETE), HDPE, PVC, LDPE, PP, PS, and Other for separation and recycling. Recently, large corporations advocating ESG management are replacing them with bioplastics. Incineration and landfill of disposal of plastic waste are responsible for air pollution and destruction of the ecosystem. Because it is not easy to accurately classify plastic materials with the naked eye, automated system-based screening studies using various sensor technologies and AI-based software technologies have been conducted. In this paper, NIR scanning devices considering the NIR wavelength characteristics that appear differently for each plastic material and a system that can identify the type of plastic by learning the NIR spectrum data collected through it. The accuracy of plastic material identification was evaluated through a decision tree-based SVM model for multiclass classification on NIR spectral datasets for 8 types of plastic samples including biodegradable plastic.

지구과학 수행평가 모형의 개발 및 활용방안 (Development and Using for Practical Model of Performance Assessment in The Earth Science Education)

  • The purpose of this research is to accomplish the goal of science education based in the seventh science course of study by suggesting the plan for development of executable method in the learning process of Earth Science education and establishing a practical model to evaluate its achievement. Furthermore, the idea of this research is to recognize a way of using and consideration at practical use of the model. Since the purpose of the educational evaluation is to maximize the efficiency of school studying, there are some negative aspects in our current method of evaluation to achieve the purpose. New system has been introduced into the educational evaluation to resolve such a critical issue. Despite some positive aspects in the system, it could not be escaped from the multiple choice and pens examination. This could be caused by in various limitations, especially the insufficiency of teachers' awareness and the data about the Performance assessment. This research is to develop and use the practical model for the Performance assessment in consideration of current educational circumstances of Junior and High school. The model of the Performance assessment in this research is to sufficiently evaluate student's ability and skill in the learning process of Earth Science education. Hence, it is dedicated to the education for human being and improve quality in the learning process of the Earth Science education among the modern society, which is characterized globalization and information. Furthermore, it may promote the growth of various character of students and increase creativity and skill for the problem solving.

다채널 근전도 기반 딥러닝 동작 인식을 활용한 손 재활 훈련시스템 개발 및 사용성 평가 (Development and Usability Evaluation of Hand Rehabilitation Training System Using Multi-Channel EMG-Based Deep Learning Hand Posture Recognition)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a hand rehabilitation training system for hemiplegic patients. We also tried to find out five hand postures (WF: Wrist Flexion, WE: Wrist Extension, BG: Ball Grip, HG: Hook Grip, RE: Rest) in real-time using multi-channel EMG-based deep learning. We performed a pre-processing method that converts to Spider Chart image data for the classification of hand movement from five test subjects (total 1,500 data sets) using Convolution Neural Networks (CNN) deep learning with an 8-channel armband. As a result of this study, the recognition accuracy was 92% for WF, 94% for WE, 76% for BG, 82% for HG, and 88% for RE. Also, ten physical therapists participated for the usability evaluation. The questionnaire consisted of 7 items of acceptance, interest, and satisfaction, and the mean and standard deviation were calculated by dividing each into a 5-point scale. As a result, high scores were obtained in immersion and interest in game (4.6±0.43), convenience of the device (4.9±0.30), and satisfaction after treatment (4.1±0.48). On the other hand, Conformity of intention for treatment (3.90±0.49) was relatively low. This is thought to be because the game play may be difficult depending on the degree of spasticity of the hemiplegic patient, and compensation may occur in patient with weakened target muscles. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a rehabilitation program suitable for the degree of disability of the patient.

수학과 학습 부진아를 위한 웹기반 진단평가 시스템의 개발 및 적용 (Development of Web based Diagnosis Evaluation System for Slow-learning Students in Elementary School Mathematics)

  • 수학과에서 학습자는 학습을 하기 전에 선수학습을 제대로 이수하지 못했을 경우 다음 학습에 곤란을 겪는다. 학습 부진아에 대한 개별적인 지도는 교육현장에서 반드시 해결해야 할 필연적인 과제이나 일선 학급 담임에게만 그 책임을 지우는 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 웹기반 진단평가 시스템을 개발 및 적용하여 학습 부진아들의 학습 결손을 여부를 진단 평가 시스템을 통해 진단하고 누적된 학습 결손을 처치하여 본 학습에 도움을 주고자 하였다. 연구대상은 연구자가 근무하는 학교의 수학 기초학습 부진아 10명을 선정하였으며 수와 연산 영역을 중심으로 진단평가 시스템을 적용하였다. 그 결과 학습 부진아의 학력 향상 및 흥미를 높이는데 효과적임을 알 수 있었으며 통계처리는 F-검증(일원분산 분석)을 통해 검증한 결과 유의한 차이가 있음을 통계적으로 검증되었다.

  • 2015 개정 교육과정의 핵심은 성취평가제의 적용과 확산으로서 학생들의 학업 성취 평가에서 있어서 경쟁적인 상대평가에서 벗어나 학생들이 각각의 평가기준에 따라 어느 정도의 학업 성취를 달성하였는가를 평가하는 것이다. 이를 위해서는 교수학습 설계와 수행 및 평가 프로세스를 통합 관리할 수 있는 평가기준 및 성취수준 지원 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 교육과정의 성취기준 자료, 수업설계 자료, 학습내용 자료, 평가설계 자료, 평가결과분석 자료 및 피드백 자료들을 연계할 수 있는 통합 데이터모델을 설계하고 이에 기반한 성취평가 지원 시스템을 설계한다. 설계한 통합 데이터 모델을 기반으로 학습자 대쉬보드 웹페이지 프로토타입을 구현하고 학생평가지원포털과의 검색 기능을 비교함으로써 제안한 모델의 퀄리티를 평가하였다.

학습공간에서의 독서 행위 시 조명환경에 따른 이미지평가 연구 (A Study on Image Evaluation consequent on Lighting Environment in time of reading in Learning Space)

  • The aim of this study is to deduce color temperature and illuminance by conducting the preference & affective evaluation consequent on illuminance change of ambient light in case of the lighting method of ambient light mixed with task light in time of reading which is visual work action among the action in learning space. As a result of the prior survey on preferred lighting method in time of the act of reading targeting 20 experts before doing evaluation, the method of lighting mixed with ambient light and task light was found to be the highest. Such a result is analyzed to be attributable to the fact that the less the difference in illuminance of nearby space and work surface because of the mixed method of lighting, the less the glare, which makes a reader feels easy and concentrate on reading. On the basis of descriptive statistics of evaluation results and impact analysis by category, this study recommends the application of combinations of ambient light illuminance ranging from 40lx to 100lx with color temperature of 5500~6000K in case of the method of lighting mixed with general light and task light.

  • 일선 교육 현장에 ICT의 본격적 활용과 함께 교육 방법 및 평가에서 많은 발전과 변화가 일어나고 있다. 그러나 교육 평가에 있어서 현장 교사들이 실제적 효율성을 느끼기에는 부족한 실정이다. 특히 평가 결과를 교육에 활용하는 데는 미비한 실정이다. 이의 원인은 계속되는 평가 결과를 유지시키지 못하는 경우도 많으며, 그 결과를 아동의 지속적인 학습활동에 반영시키지 못하기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 형태의 문항을 쉽게 관리할 수 있으며, 문제의 유형에 적합한 정형화된 폼을 제시하여 교사들이 문제를 간단하고 편리하게 제작하고, 평가 내용을 다양한 관점에서 확인할 수 있는 효율적인 문항 관리 시스템을 개발한다.
