이러닝 수강생 교육 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Educational Effectiveness of e-Learning)

  • 본 연구에서는 이러닝 수강생들의 교육 효과에 대한 실태조사를 실시하고 어떤 요인들이 교육 효과에 영향을 미치는 가를 연구하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 이러닝에 실제 참여한 712명의 이러닝 수강생들을 대상으로 학기말 경에 설문을 실시하여 성적에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대한 조사를 실시하였다. 또한 학기를 마친 후 설문에 응한 학생들의 실제 취득점수를 표준화하여 종속변수로 설정하였고 성적에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 AMOS 프로그램을 활용하여 구조방정식을 통한 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 성적에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 직장유무인 것으로 나타났으며 충실도는 성적에 작은 직접적 영향을 미치고 있었고 만족도는 성적에 간접적으로 가장 작은 영향을 미치고 있음이 밝혀졌다.

온라인(on-line) 교육훈련의 효과성에 관한 연구 (A Study of On-line Education on Training Effectiveness)

  • The development of Information technologies huts contributed on-line training as one of important education methods. On-line training In firms, which is similar to e-learning or virtual education, provides trainees with more education opportunities in diverse ways. It has developed a range of innovative services with an one-stop solution of education within the electronic sector. Also under the on-line training environment, trainees can undertake customized training packages at anytime and any places. Moreover, information technology allows both the trainers and other trainees to be decoupled in any of the elements of time, place, and space. Two research questions are investigated : what are the determinants affecting the on-line training effectiveness and how those variables effect the two aspects of training effectiveness: learning performance and transfer performance. Based on the previous literature conducted on the traditional training environment, the determinants of training effectiveness are derived. light hypotheses are developed based on literature reviews and tested by questionnaires survey data. The collected data have been analyzed by LISREL. It is found that the relationship between individual, organizational and on-line sloe design variables and training effectiveness (learning and transfer) are significant. The contribution and limitations of this research are also discussed tilth future studies.

Analysis of the Effectiveness of a Problem-based Digital Textbook

  • The successful use of digital textbooks (DTs) in schools requires the development of various teaching and learning methods that are appropriate for DTs. However, recent DT studies have focused mainly on the implementation of DT features and formats. The objective of this study was to investigate a problem-based learning instructional model appropriate to DTs and to present the experimental results using the problem-based DT to demonstrate its educational effectiveness. Two learning-achievements tests were conducted to analyze the learning experience and effectiveness of the problem-based DT after it had been used in a high school for a certain period. The experimental results indicated that the students who used the DT, especially lower-level students, exhibited improved problem-solving ability and demonstrated a better practical understanding of the subject than students who used printed textbooks.

Virtual World-Based Information Security Learning: Design and Evaluation

  • There has been a growing interest and enthusiasm for the application of virtual worlds in learning and training. This research proposes a design framework of a virtual world-based learning environment that integrates two unique features of the virtual world technology, immersion and interactivity, with an instructional strategy that promotes self-regulatory learning. We demonstrate the usefulness and assess the effectiveness of our design in the context of information security learning. In particular, the information security learning module implemented in Second Life was incorporated into an Introduction to Information Security course. Data from pre- and post- learning surveys were used to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning module. Overall, the results strongly suggest that the virtual world-based learning environment enhances information security learning, thus supporting the effectiveness of the proposed design framework. Additional results suggest that learner traits have an important influence on learning outcomes through perceived enjoyment. The study offers useful design and implementation guidelines for organizations and universities to develop a virtual world-based learning environment. It also represents an initial step towards the design and explanation theories of virtual world-based learning environments.

간호대학 4학년 학생의 학습유형에 따른 응급상황관리 시뮬레이션 교육의 효과 (Effectiveness of an Emergent Care Management Simulation Education among Senior Nursing Students According to Learning Styles)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학 4학년 학생의 학습유형에 따른 응급상황관리 시뮬레이션 교육의 효과를 확인하고자 실시된 단일군 사전-사후 유사실험 연구이다. 연구 대상자는 4년제 간호대학에 재학 중인 58명의 학생이었으며, 연구는 2013년 6월 24일부터 7월 12일까지 실시되었다. 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 간호대학 4학년 학생의 학습유형과 교육효과(비판적 사고성향, 문제해결과정, 협력, 실습만족도, 자신감)를 조사하였으며, 서술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U 검정, Kruskal-Wallis를 이용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 간호대학 4학년 학생의 학습유형은 수렴자 46.6%, 융합자 34.5%, 적응자 15.5%, 분산자 3.4%이었다. 응급상황관리 시뮬레이션 교육은 비판적 사고성향, 문제해결과정, 협력, 자신감에 유의한 향상을 보였으나, 학습유형에 따른 교육효과는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이를 기초로 학습유형과 시뮬레이션 교육효과 간의 관계에 대한 재고찰을 통해 시뮬레이션 교육의 효과를 극대화시킬 수 있는 방안의 모색이 필요할 것이다.

Empirical Analysis of Learning Effectiveness in u-Learning Environment with Digital Textbook

  • The purpose of this study is to present innovative approaches for u-Learning environment in public education with Digital Textbook. The Korean Government has been making efforts to introduce the u-Learning environment to maximize the learning effect in public education with Digital Textbook. However, there are only a few studies that analyze the effectiveness of u-Learning environment and Digital Textbook. This paper reviews the current status of u-Learning environment in Korea and analyzes the satisfaction level with Digital Textbooks. The first survey regarding technological factors was collected from 197 students. The results of the survey revealed that the level of satisfaction has declined over a year. The weakness of the study is that the sample frame is insufficient and survey questions did not reflect diverse factors of learning effectiveness. To supplement these shortcomings, 2,226 students were asked about learning performance. The results of the survey showed that the satisfaction with Digital Textbooks is much higher than that of paper textbooks. However, this paper is limited to u-Learning environments in public education. Therefore, research needs to be improved by reflecting both public and private sectors of education in following studies. This paper suggests useful guidelines to educators in improving their u-Learning environment.

의료기관 학습조직 운영효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effectiveness of Learning Organization Managed by Medical Center)

  • This study was designed to suggest a learning organization in a medical center by examining the factors to influence effectiveness of the learning organization. We collected the data of 586 persons who participated once or more times in the learning organization managed from 2000 to 2002 by Y Medical Center located in Seoul, and included the data of 285 persons in the final analysis. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, as the results of examining the regression coefficients to predict the effectiveness of and satisfaction with the learning organization through the learning level, learning method and learning organization constructing level as the general variables, the important influential factors were shown as follows: 1)knowledge creation, knowledge storing, private learning, organizational learning, and learning organization construction of occupational and human levels as the factors to predict the working competency; 2) learning organization construction of the human level as the factors to assume the duty satisfaction; 3) gender, working years, private learning, team learning and organizational construction level for the prediction of the organizational commitment; and 4) medical technical service, knowledge creation, organization learning, and constructing level of the environmental and human levels for the assumption of the satisfaction with experience in the learning organization. Based on the study results of the effects in managing the learning organization, we can conclude the followings. First, the members who are in various working positions and occupations need to continuously participate in the learning organization. Second, to raise the organizational outcome from the management of the learning organization, it is necessary to establish systematic concepts in the constituents of the organizational effectiveness such as working competency improvement, duty satisfaction and organizational commitment, and the experience satisfaction of the learning organization. Finally, the future of the organization depends on the learning competencies of the organization members. To continuously exist and develop the organization, the private learning of the organizational members should be constantly spread and shared over the organizational level, and the usual innovations such as repetitive and habitual organizational learning should be generally tried out throughout the whole field of the management.

이러닝의 특성과 유용성이 지속적 이용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influential Factors of Intention to Continued Use of e-Learning)

  • Why does e-Learning service for individuals remain in the early development stage? To find the answers of this question, we adopted usefulness and intention to continued use as dependent variables based on technology acceptance model and inferred convenience, cost-effectiveness, social presence, interactivity, concentration, and procrastination as independent variables based on literature review and interview with e-Learning users. Convenience and cost-effectiveness of e-Learning tend to enhance usefulness and/or intention to continued use, while lack of social presence, interactivity, and concentration of e-Learning and academic procrastination tend to hinder usefulness and/or intention to continued use. To prove this research model, we used a data set collected from the survey. The respondents of survey were the undergraduate students who used voluntarily e-Learning. Data analysis was conducted using 275 respondents by partial least square. The analysis result of causal relation indicated that convenience and cost-effectiveness influenced both usefulness and intention to continued use, and that cost-effectiveness and concentration influenced only intention to continued use. But, interactivity and procrastination did not influence usefulness and intention to continued use.

비대면 플립러닝의 효과에 대한 탐색 연구: 학습자 경험 및 인지된 학습성과 분석 (An Exploratory Study on the Effectiveness of Non-face-to-face Flipped Learning: Focusing Learner's Experience and Perceived Learning Achievement)

  • COVID-19로 인해 대학도 비대면 교육이 진행되고 있다. 이에 플립러닝 적용하고 있는 수업의 경우에도 비대면 체제로 전환하여 운영이 되고 있으나, 새로운 형태의 비대면 플립러닝 수업 방식에 대한 사례 및 효과에 대한 탐색 연구는 아직 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 비대면 플립러닝 교수 전략의 효과를 살펴보기 위해, FGI 및 설문을 통해 학생들의 학습 경험을 분석하고 교과목 목표 달성 수준을 확인하여, 궁극적으로 효과적인 비대면 플립러닝 수업을 위한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 학습자들은 대체로 비대면 플립러닝 수업방식에서 퀴즈, 팀활동, 그리고 교수자의 질의응답 및 피드백 등 상호작용 측면에서 긍정적으로 평가를 하였으며, 사전-사후 학습 달성 정도의 변화에서도 유의한 차이를 보여주었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점을 논의하였다.

e-learning에 대한 태도가 e-learning 유효성에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Impact of the Attitude of e-learning on the Effectiveness of e-learning)

  • 본 연구는 e-learning에 대한 태도가 e-learning 유효성에 미치는 영향과 e-learning에 대한 태도의 선행요인에 대하여 검증하였다. 이 연구를 위한 자료수집은 대학에서 가상강좌를 수강한 학생들을 대상으로 하였으며, 자료의 분석은 구조방정식모형을 사용하였다. 분석결과 첫째, e-learning에 대한 긍정적 태도가 e-learning 유효성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, e-learning 학습관리시스템에 대해 지각하는 사용용이성, 학습동기, 학습콘텐츠의 정보품질은 e-learning에 대한 태도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, e-learning 학습관리시스템에 대해 지각하는 유용성은 e-learning에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 e-learning을 통하여 학습관리시스템, 학습 콘텐츠와 정보품질이 제공되어야 하며 그리고 학습자의 학습동기가 중요한 수단으로 활용되어야 한다.
