중환자실과 응급실 초보간호사를 위한 맞춤형 시뮬레이션 학습프로그램 개발 및 효과 (The Development and Effects of a Tailored Simulation Learning Program for New Nursing Staffs in Intensive Care Units and Emergency Rooms)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a tailored simulation learning (SL) program and to evaluate the effects of the program on the clinical competency, clinical decision-making competency, and communicative competency of new nursing staffs in intensive care units (ICU) and emergency rooms (ER). Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, fifteen nurses were assigned to the experimental group and fifteen to the control group. The experimental group was given the SL program of four sessions, whereas the lectures of four sessions were given to the control group. Data were analyzed using a $x^2$-test, Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskal-Wallis test with an SPSS program. Analysis of covariance was used to treat the covariate of pre communicative competency between the experimental and control groups. Results: Based on the education needs of new nursing staffs in ICUs and ERs, three learning scenarios and one evaluating scenario were developed for the SL program. The score for clinical competency, clinical decision-making competency, and communicative competency were significantly higher in the experimental group compared with the control group. Conclusion: The SL program is an effective learning strategy for new nursing staffs in ICUs and ERs. These findings suggest that an SL program be offered as an alternative for new nurse orientation and continuing nurse education.

동료평가를 활용한 실습교육평가방법이 핵심기본간호술 수행능력, 학습태도, 비판적사고 및 셀프리더십에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Practice Education Evaluation using Peer Evaluation on Core Fundamental Nursing Skills Competency, Learning Attitude, Critical thinking and Self-Leadership)

  • 본 연구는 동료평가를 활용한 핵심기본간호술의 실습교육평가방법이 졸업반 간호학생의 핵심기본간호술 수행능력, 학습태도, 비판적사고 및 셀프리더십에 미치는 효과를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구대상자는 핵심기본간호술 교과목 수강자 4학년 학생으로 총 326명이었으며, 자료수집은 2018년 한 학기동안 실시하였다. 자료는 AMOS 20.0과 SAS 9.3 프로그램을 이용하였으며 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, Scheffe test로 분석하였다. 연구결과로, 동료평가를 활용한 핵심기본간호술 수행능력의 평균평점은 3.77(${\pm}.62$)점, 학습태도 3.17(${\pm}.47$)점, 비판적 사고는 3.44(${\pm}.41$)점, 셀프리더십은 3.60(${\pm}.49$)점으로 나타났다. 핵심기본간호술 수행능력은 성별, 간호학 전공만족도, 핵심기본간호술 실습만족도, 동료평가 전 사전학습여부, 동료평가 만족도에 따라 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 핵심기본간호술 수행능력은 학습태도(r=.295, p<.001)와, 비판적사고는 핵심기본간호술 수행능력(r=.384, p<.001), 학습태도(r=.623, p<.001)와, 셀프리더십은 핵심기본간호술 수행능력(r=.353, p<.001), 학습태도(r=.529, p<.001), 비판적사고(r=.690, p<.001)와 유의한 순상관 관계를 나타냈다. 핵심기본간호술 수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 구조방정식 모형을 적용하였으며 비판적사고, 셀프리더십으로 나타났다. 따라서 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 핵심기본간호술 수행능력 향상을 위해 학습태도, 비판적사고 및 셀프리더십을 고려한 핵심기본간호술 실습교육프로그램 개발이 필요할 것이다.

학습전이 촉진 전략에 따른 핵심역량교육의 효과성 연구 -H사 사례를 중심으로- (A study on the effectiveness of core competency courses according to facilitating strategy of learning transfer focusing H Corporation)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 H사에서 실시한 핵심역량교육을 사전-사후검사설계 및 성공사례기법을 적용 분석하여 학습전이 및 경영성과에의 기여 등 효과성을 검증하고 시사점을 제시하는데 있다. 핵심역량교육에 참여한 학습자 본인, 관찰자 집단(상사, 동료, 부하)을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 1,012명의 응답을 최종분석에 활용하였다. 주요 연구결과는 첫째, 핵심역량교육의 사전-사후검사 평균차이가 유의미하였다. 둘째, 관찰자들이 인식하는 학습자들의 역량수준이 학습자 본인이 인식하는 것보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 성공사례기법을 통한 검증 결과 핵심역량교육이 경영성과에 직 간접적으로 기여한 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인재상 공유를 위한 핵심역량교육이 조직성과에 직 간접적으로 기여하기 때문에 조직구성원의 행동 변화를 위한 효과적인 개입방법으로 적극활용해야 하겠다. 둘째, 핵심역량교육이 교육효과를 달성하기 위해서는 통합적 학습전이모형을 설계하고, 학습전이 촉진을 위한 학습자 개인과 조직의 협력적 분위기가 형성되어야 하겠다.

Development and evaluation of a pediatric nursing competency-building program for nursing students in South Korea: a quasi-experimental study

  • Purpose: The present study aimed to develop and examine the effectiveness of a pediatric nursing competency-building program for nursing students. Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design conducted between October and December 2021. The participants included 40 nursing students (20 each in the experimental and control groups) at a university in a South Korean city. The pediatric nursing competency-building program integrated problem-based learning and simulation into clinical field practice. The experimental group participated in the program, while the control group did not. Data were analyzed using the 𝑥2 test, the independent t-test, and repeated-measures analysis of variance. Results: Pediatric nursing competency and clinical performance showed a greater increase in the experimental group than in the control group. However, the change in problem-solving ability in the experimental group was not significantly different from that in the control group. Conclusion: The pediatric nursing competency-building program effectively improved students' pediatric nursing competency and clinical performance.

  • NCS are the contents such as knowledge, technology, and culture demanded for performing the duties in the industrial field systemized by a nation classified with industrial divisions and levels. It is an ability standardized in the national level necessary for performing duties of industrial field successfully. Now, the society structure, due to abrupt change and development, has to secure core ability demanded to human resources in common, irrespective of kinds and positions, and lays an emphasis on vocational basis ability to softly cope with the accelerating change of labor market. This dissertation, on the basis of NCS-based vocational education curriculum, focuses on information ability, computer use ability(information management ability), one of vocational core competency used for the duties related at the department of video & broadcasting to develop learning module. In addition, this dissertation researches learning results such as satisfaction and accomplishment over learning on the object of the students who took the education.

초등학생을 위한 기후변화대응 환경디자인 STEAM 교육프로그램 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Environment Design STEAM Program in Coping with Climate Change for Elementary School Students)

  • Recent changes in the Korean education policies are promoting the advances in science and technology and cultivating people of convergence talent. STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) educational program is Korean styled convergence program for creative competent human resources. Therefore, Therefore the aim of this study is developing convergence hand-on educational program coping with climate change for elementary school students. For development of the program, we investigated the curriculum of the elementary school about the climate change, and allocated in the creative learning standard frame. Also, we selected themes related the climate change in the curriculum and learning activity. For more effective program to build the convergence competency, we analyzed the program based on creative problem based learning process and 4 core competency(creativity, communication, convergence, caring) elements. In conclusion, the STEAM program needs to develop by school curriculum and leaner's ability. For elementary school students, the STEAM program consists with creative problem based learning process. And the convergence educational program would analyze by the creative PBL process and convergence competency elements. So, this developing program has brought the promotion of the creative convergence competent talented person for the future global environment.

시뮬레이션 실습을 경험한 간호대학생의 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 융합적 요인 (Convergence Analysis of the Factors Influencing Clinical Competency among Nursing Students Participated in Simulation-based Practice)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 융합적인 요인들을 파악하기 위하여 실시하였다. 연구대상은 4년제 일 간호대학에 재학중인 간호대학생 185명이였으며 측정 도구는 셀프리더쉽, 비판적 사고성향, 자기주도학습능력, 문제해결과정, 임상수행능력에 관한 문항으로 구성되었다. 셀프리더쉽, 비판적 사고성향, 자기주도학습능력, 문제해결과정, 임상수행능력정도는 기술통계로 분석하였고 제 변수들 간의 상관관계는 Pearson correlation coefficients, 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 다중 선형 회귀분석(Multiple linear regression)을 적용하였다. 임상수행능력은 셀프리더쉽, 비판적 사고성향, 자기주도학습능력, 문제해결과정과 유의한 정적상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났다(r=.580, r=.604, r=.668, r=.627). 대인관계(β=.148), 비판적 사고성향(β=.158), 문제해결과정(β=.165), 자기주도학습능력(β=.321)순으로 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타나 임상수행능력의 53%를 설명하였다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 간호대학생들의 임상수행능력을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램 개발에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

혼종 모형을 이용한 간호 학습전이의 개념 분석 (A Concept Analysis on Learning Transfer in Nursing Using the Hybrid Model)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to define and clarify learning transfer in nursing. Methods: This study used a hybrid model to analyze the concept of learning transfer in nursing through three phases. For the theoretical phase, learning transfer attributes were identified through a scoping literature review. In the fieldwork phase, in-depth focus group interviews were conducted to develop attributes. Purposive sampling was performed with ten participants(five nursing students, two nurses, three nursing faculty members). In the analysis phase, the attributes and final analysis of learning transfer in nursing were extracted and integrated from the previous two phases. Results: According to the analysis, learning transfer was represented in two dimensions with eight attributes. The development of competency dimension had three attributes: 1) theory acquisition, nursing skills, professional attitude, 2) integration, and 3) analysis competency. The competency change dimension had five attributes: 1) appropriateness in patient care, 2) proficiency in patient care, 3) satisfaction, 4) achievement, and 5) confidence. Conclusion: The concept analysis might provide a basic understanding of learning transfer, a development framework toward a measurement of nursing learning transfer and effective educational nursing strategies.

간호대학생의 직업기초능력과 자기효능감, 간호전문직관 및 자기주도학습능력의 인과적 관계 (The Causal Relationship among Vocational Basic Competencies, Self-Efficacy, Nursing Professionalism and Self-Directed Learning Ability of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 직업기초능력에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 행동의 선택과 지속성을 유지하는 자기효능감의 영향관계와 자기효능감과 직업기초능력의 관계에서 간호전문직관의 매개효과와 간호전문직관에 대한 인식을 통해 형성되는 주도적인 학습능력이 직업기초능력에 미치는 영향관계를 실증적으로 검증하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 J도 소재 3개 전문대학의 간호학과 학생 396명을 대상으로 편의표집 하였다. 각각의 잠재변인은 직업기초능력, 자기효능감, 간호전문직관, 자기주도학습능력을 설정하여 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 구조방정식모형(Structural Equation Modeling)을 이용하여 분석하였으며, 구체적인 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 간호대학생의 직업기초능력과 자기효능감, 간호전문직관 및 자기주도학습능력 간의 인과모형의 적합도가 양호한 것으로 나타나 변인 간의 인과관계를 타당하게 예측하였다. 둘째, 간호대학생의 자기효능감은 직업기초능력에 직접적으로 영향을 주지 않고 간호전문직관과 자기주도학습능력을 완전매개로 간접적으로 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 간호전문직관은 직업기초능력에 직접적으로 영향을 미쳤으며 자기주도학습능력을 매개로 간접적으로 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 자기주도학습능력은 직업기초능력에 직접적으로 정적인 영향을 미쳤다.

비디오 녹화를 통한 자가평가 학습법이 간호술기 수행능력과 자기주도적 학습능력, 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (Effect of a Self-Evaluation Method Using Video Recording on Competency in Nursing Skills, Self-Directed Learning Ability, and Academic Self-Efficacy)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of a self-evaluation method using video recording on competency in nursing skills, self-directed learning ability, and academic self-efficacy in nursing students. Methods: The study design was a non-equivalent pre-post quasi-experimental design. The experimental and control groups were randomly assigned with 35 participants in each group. Interventions for the experimental group were video recording and students' self-evaluation of what they did. Nursing skills included in the study were tube feeding, intradermal injection, subcutaneous injection, and intramuscular injection. Competency in nursing skills was measured one time at the end of the study using a checklist. Self-directed learning ability and academic self-efficacy were measured 3 times (pre-, mid-, and post-intervention) over the 8 weeks. Independent t-test, chi-square test, and repeated measures ANOVA were used for data analyses. Results: There was no statistically significant difference for competency in nursing skills and self-directed learning ability over the 8 weeks of the practice session. There was a significant difference in academic self-efficacy by groups over time. Conclusion: Results indicate that self-evaluation method using video recording is an effective learning way to improve academic achievement in nursing students.
