Esophageal anastomotic leak is the most common and serious complication following esophagectomy. However, the standard treatment for anastomotic leaks remains unclear. Recently, endoscopic vacuum therapy has become an important non-surgical alternative treatment method for patients with esophageal anastomotic leak. This treatment involves the endoscopic placement of a sponge connected to a nasogastric tube into the defect cavity or lumen. Subsequently, continuous negative pressure is delivered to the cavity through the tube. Several studies have reported a treatment success rate of 80% to 100%. In this study, we review the mechanism of action, the method of performing the procedure, its safety and efficacy, and prognostic factors for failure of endoscopic vacuum therapy in the management of patients with anastomotic leak, and on this basis attempted to confirm the possibility of establishing a standardized treatment protocol using endoscopic vacuum therapy.
During esophagectomy and esophagogastrostomy, the prediction of anastomotic leakage relies on the operating surgeon's tactile or visual diagnosis. Therefore, anastomotic leaks are relatively unpredictable, and new intraoperative evaluation methods or tools are essential. A fluorescence imaging system enables visualization over a wide region of interest, and provides intuitive information on perfusion intraoperatively. Surgeons can choose the best anastomotic site of the gastric tube based on fluorescence images in real time during surgery. This technology provides better surgical outcomes when used with an optimal injection dose and timing of indocyanine green.
The information technology brought us many kinds of conveniences to our life, but it also caused social problems such as privacy interference, unexpected personal information leaks, and nose generation by telephonic talks, etc. In this paper, the microphone system of the cellular phone is developed to prevent these problems caused by progress of information technology. The developed system was designed to detect only acoustic signals from a human being in the presence of various kinds of background noises. A windscreen was designed by use of micro-channels to eliminate the popping noise by the wind from the mouth of a speaker and four microphone array and signal processing techniques are applied to reduce background noise. The impact of the developed system was evaluated by experimental tests. The results show that the system can improve the required functions considerably.
Research has begun to change the waterproofing design of domestic underground structure parts from the current negative-side waterproof design to the positive-side waterproof design. For this, active review from the design stage to prevent the ingress of external ground water into the waterproofing measures of the underground of apartment buildings is needed. Therefore, in this study, proper waterproofing method for the major leaks identified in the previous studies and a waterproofing method for the waterproof design of the underground floor and the outer wall is proposed. It is hoped that a follow-up study, such as a review of field applicability, for the proposed methods will provide an alternative to secure leakage stability in waterproof design.
As part of the development of building technology to improve the living performance closely related with lifestyle to Realize the Housing Welfare, the standard manual for the prevention and maintenance of water leaks in the underground structures of apartment buildings consists of Part 1 and Part 2. This study further covered the maintenance plan and inspection carried out in Part 1.
Recently, internal information leaks is increasing rapidly by internal employees and authorized outsourcing personnel. In this paper, we propose a method to integrate internal control systems like system access control system and Digital Rights Managements and so on through expansion model of SIEM(Security Information Event Management system). this model performs a analysis step of security event link type and validation process. It develops unit scenarios to react illegal acts for personal information processing system and acts to bypass the internal security system through 5W1H view. It has a feature that derives systematic integration scenarios by integrating unit scenarios. we integrated internal control systems like access control system and Digital Rights Managements and so on through expansion model of Security Information Event Management system to defend leakage of internal information and customer information. We compared existing defense system with the case of the expansion model construction. It shows that expanding SIEM was more effectively.

In CANDU reactor, each pressure tubes contain twelve fuel bundles and provide the inlet and outlet for the primary coolant. If a leak develops in the pressure tube, it is detected by Annulus Gas System which contains circulating dry $CO_2$ gas. Since the leaks caused by the flaws are resulted in pressure tube break, establishment of flaw assessment method is very significant in view of the fracture mechanics. In this paper, various criteria for assessing the flaws are presented to prevent the tube rupture and ensure the integrity of reactor operating.
This study improved the water repair materials of the polyacrylic system applied to concrete structures by controlling expansion, strengthening water resistance, and improving cohesiveness. The improved polyacrylate repair materials were evaluated against the existing products to verify their performance and level of improvement, and applied on-site to the concrete structures that are leaking the improved water. The verification method measured the presence of water leaks and the moisture content of concrete inside. Moisture levels were measured for two months before and after material installation, and at least 0.8 - 1.7% of humidity was reduced after installing polyacrylic resin, and no leakage was found.
In this paper, we propose a deep auto-encoder-based pipe leak detection (PLD) technique from time-series acoustic data collected by microphone sensor nodes. The key idea of the proposed technique is to learn representative features of the leak-free state using leak-free time-series acoustic data and the deep auto-encoder. The proposed technique can be used to create a PLD model that detects leaks in the pipeline in an unsupervised learning manner. This means that we only use leak-free data without labeling while training the deep auto-encoder. In addition, when compared to the previous supervised learning-based PLD method that uses image features, this technique does not require complex preprocessing of time-series acoustic data owing to the unsupervised feature extraction scheme. The experimental results show that the proposed PLD method using the deep auto-encoder can provide reliable PLD accuracy even considering unsupervised learning-based feature extraction.

With the types and targets of cyber attacks expanding and with personal information leaks increasing, the quantitative demand for information security specialists has increased. The base for training the workforce has expanded accordingly, but joblessness and job-seeking still coexist. To resolve the gap between labor demand and supply, education and training systems that can supply demand quickly are needed. It takes a considerable amount of time for information security education and new manpower supply through universities and graduate schools to be reflected in the market. However, if information security retraining is carried out in terms of career development of information security and related workforce, the problem of lack of experts could be solved in a relatively short period. This paper investigates and analyzes the information security work of the information security workforce, the degree of skill level, the need for retraining, and the workplace migration experience; it also discusses the direction of career development retraining.
