International oil prices is the world's leading macroeconomic indicators. Rising international oil price has been worsening. profitability of construction company including material cost as well stagnation in housing market. Thus, according to fluctuations in international oil prices has cost index need to see any change happening there. in this study, 2000 to 2011 interest rates, exchange rates and oil price fluctuations in construction cost is to compare the impact.

Chemical industry has contributed significantly to the enhancement of quality of human life, but it has been regarded as a major area of environmental problem due to the potential hazards in environment and safety. This paper examines environmental management programs of chemical industry such as RC(Responsible Care) and PRTR(Pollutant Release and Transfer Register). Through the survey of Dow Chernical's environmental management system, it is examined in detail how a leading company in chemical industry has coped with environmental problem companywide.

Leading companies have embraced the new economy with new and innovative BTO models. Instead of conventional company-oriented manufacturing scheduling, customer-oriented scheduling method attracts more and more attention. To evaluate the delivery of customer order in advance, the real production capacity as well as procurement lead time should be taken into account. This paper describes a quasi-real-time order delivery estimation system using TOC(Theory of Constraints) based scheduling method.

Korean foodservice's circulation industry has been developed with enforcement plan of circulation modernization for the purpose of circulation construction improvement in 1992 and revision plan of circulation modernization plan preparing circulation market opening in 1995. But Korean circulation step is still in an early stage compare the advanced nations, so it has a bad effect in case the price competition and the profits, A circulation industry has originally premodenization. But it could be changed leading industry of 21 century, because it can used not only latest technique through information network but also leisure market of consumption industry. We must be enough a purchase condition of direct transaction from a minimum of circulation in order to compete with new business industry of advanced nations. Threfore the scheme for the development of foodservice industry should be improve a circulation management environment of circulation company, also the government should be improve the system in the policy. Both the government and the enterprose must reinforce efforts for high level competition more than the present states. From the view point of the bedelayed industry of all industries, the chance of new business will be created more than others.

Based on third-order shear deformation shell theory, the present paper investigates post-buckling properties of eccentrically stiffened metal foam curved shells/panels having initial geometric imperfectness. Metal foam is considered as porous material with uniform and non-uniform models. The single-curve porous shell is subjected to in-plane compressive loads leading to post-critical stability in nonlinear regime. Via an analytical trend and employing Airy stress function, the nonlinear governing equations have been solved for calculating the post-buckling loads of stiffened geometrically imperfect metal foam curved shell. New findings display the emphasis of porosity distributions, geometrical imperfectness, foundation factors, stiffeners and geometrical parameters on post-buckling properties of porous curved shells/panels.

(주)시눅프리미디어는 한국 그라비어 인쇄업계의 품질 관리 수준 향상과 세계추세를 선도하는 품질관리를 목표로 2011년 부터 CMS(Color Managemant System에 의한 정량적 색상관리를 실무에 적용하여 시행 중이다. 국내 그라비어 인쇄 업계도 국제적으로 경쟁력 있는 제품을 만들기 위해서는 정량적 품질관리가 반드시 요구될 수 밖에 없다. 따라서 2년여 기간 동안 (주)시눅프리미디어의 협력사(플레이트 제조사, 인쇄사)가 실무 중에 경험한 사례를 소개함으로써 국내 그라비어 인쇄업계에 도움이 되기를 희망한다.

Goal of "Single PPM Quality Innovation Movement" is to achieve perfect quality through participation of all members in the production line to achieve zero defects. Six Sigma has been used by many leading corporations as a tool for Management Innovation. Recently, the number of small and medium sized companies implementing Six Sigma has increased. Therefore, this research introduces the case of "S" company which utilized Six Sigma and Single PPM together to effectively implement Single PPM Quality Innovation Movement. This paper describes issues identified during the Single PPM Quality Innovation Movement implementation and also suggests improvement plans.

Since the restructuring in electricity industry, single utility company, KEPCO, was being unbundled horizontanly and vertically, which resulted in 6 generation companies. Hence, electricity statistics system leaded by KEPCO is no longer efficiently sustainable. By introduction of electricity market, the importance of statistical information is getting higher and higher. From now on, the leading role played in statistical system in electricity field should be switched from KEPCO to government. This paper looks into change in statistical work driven by electricity and provides alternatives applicable to new electricity market. In addition, this paper provides new standard form for the collection of statistical data and construction of statistical system.

In this paper, we present a modeling approach to production planning for an actual production line and a heuristic method. We also illustrate the successful implementation of the proposed method on the production line. A heuristic algorithm called the push-back algorithm was designed for a single machine earliness/tardiness production planning with distinct due date. It was developed by combining a minimum slack time rule and shortest processing time rule with a push-back procedure. The results of a numerical experiment on the heuristic's performance are presented in comparison with the results of IBM ILOG CPLEX. The proposed algorithm was applied to an actual case of production planning at Woongjin Chemical, a leading manufacturer of filter products in South Korea. The seven-month execution of our algorithm led to a 24.5% decrease in the company's inventory level, thus demonstrating its practicality and effectiveness.
