Previously, crystallization of a-Si:H films on glass substrates were limited to anneal temperature below 600.deg. C, over 10 hours to avoid glass shrinkage. Our study indicates that the crystallization is strongly influenced by anneal temperature and weakly affected by anneal duration time. Because of the high temperature process and nonconducting substrate requirements for poly-Si TFTs, the employed substrates were limited to quartz, sapphire, and oxidized Si wafer. We report on poly-Si TFT's using high temperature anneal on a Si:H/Mo structures. The metal Mo substrate was stable enough to allow 1000.deg. C anneal. A novel TFT fabrication was achieved by using part of the Mo substrate as drain and source ohmic contact electrode. The as-grown a-Si:H TFT was compared to anneal treated poly-Si TFT'S. Defect induced trap states of TFT's were examined using the thermally stimulated current (TSC) method. In some case, the poly-Si grain boundaries were passivated by hydrogen. A-SI:H and poly-Si TFT characteristics were investigated using an inverted staggered type TFT. The poly -Si films were achieved by various anneal techniques; isothermal, RTA, and excimer laser anneal. The TFT on as grown a-Si:H exhibited a low field effect mobility, transconductance, and high gate threshold voltage. Some films were annealed at temperatures from 200 to >$1000^{\circ}C$ The TFT on poly-Si showed an improved $I_on$$I_off$ ratio of $10_6$, reduced gate threshold voltage, and increased field effect mobility by three orders. Inverter operation was examined to verify logic circuit application using the poly Si TFTs.

This paper presents the effect of driving waveform for piezoelectric bend mode inkjet printhead with optimized mechanical design. Experimental and theoretical studies on the applied driving waveform versus jetting characteristic s were performed. The inkjet head has been designed to maximize the droplet velocity, minimize voltage response of the actuator and optimize the firing frequency to eject ink droplet. The head design was carried out by using mechanical simulation. The printhead has been fabricated with Si(100) and SOI wafers by MEMS process and silicon direct bonding method. To investigate how performance of the piezoelectric ceramic actuator influences on droplet diameter and droplet velocity, the method of stroboscopy was used. Also we observed the movement characteristics of PZT actuator with LDV(Laser Doppler Vibrometer) system, oscilloscope and dynamic signal analyzer. Missing nozzles caused by bubbles in chamber were monitored by their resonance frequency. Using the water based ink of viscosity of 4.8 cps and surface tension of 0.025N/m, it is possible to eject stable droplets up to 20kHz, 4.4m/s and above 8pL at the different applied driving waveforms.

In this paper, 8-channel multiplexer with 100GHz channel spacing is fabricated. The 8-channel multiplexer is fabricated by connecting three cascaded Mach Zehnder Interferometer (MZI) of optical fiber type, and each interferometer has the wavelength interval of 100GHz, 200GHz and 400GHz, respectively. furthermore, to acquire uniform insertion loss, it is fabricated by using Wavelength Flatten Coupler (WFC) in which the variation of insertion loss is low. Especially, the variation of wavelength interval in the output is explicitly simulated as a function of optical path difference, and the wavelength coupling process along with cascaded connection is discussed. $CO_2$ laser to adjust precisely the wavelength. In summary, The prototype composed by eight cascaded MZI has an insertion loss of 2.1dB, the bandwidth of 0.8nm at 5.5dB point, and channel crosstalk of 25dB Furthermore, the loss dependent on polarization is measured as 0.06dB.

Wide band gap II-VI semiconductors have attracted the interest of many research groups during the past few years due to the possibility of their applications in light-emitting diodes and laser diodes. Among the II-VI semiconductors, ZnO is an important optoelectronic device material for use in the violet and blue regions because of its wide direct band gap (Eg ~3.37 eV) and large exciton binding energy (60 meV). F-doped ZnO (FZO) and undoped ZnO thin films were grown onto quartz substrate by the sol-gel spin-coating method. The doping level in the solution, designated by F/Zn atomic ratio of was varied from 0 to 5 in 1 steps. To investigate the effects of the structure and optical properties of FZO thin films were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-visible spectroscopy, and photoluminescence (PL). In the XRD, the residual stress, FWHM, bond length, and average grain size were changed with increasing the doping concentration. For the PL spectra, the high INBE/IDLE ratio of the FZO thin films doping concentration at 1 at.% than the other samples.

The CAD-CAM technique is a rapidly developing field in the dental field and is applied to various fields of prosthetic treatment. Among them, the manufacturing of dentures using the milling technique classified as subtractive manufacturing is one of the commercialized digital full denture manufacturing methods. At the same time, it is possible to more efficiently manufacture a metal framework for implant overdenture by selective laser sintering or melting technique classified as an additive manufacturing method. The purpose of this article is to describe the fabrication of CAD-CAM maxillary complete denture and mandibular implant overdenture as well as its features.

Interest and investment in renewable energy have increased worldwide, highlighting the need for renewable energy. Solar energy was the most promising energy of all renewable energy sources, and it has the highest investment value. Because photovoltaics require a certain amount of area for installation, high density and high output performance are required. Shingled module is a promising technology in that they are featured by higher density and higher output compared to the conventional modules. Shingled technology uses a laser scribing to divide solar cells that are to be bonded with electrically conductive adhesive (ECA) to produce and connect strings, which has a higher output in the same area than the conventional modules. In the process of producing solar modules, metal ribbons are used to interconnect cells, but they are also needed for string connections in shingled solar cells. Accordingly, in this study, we researched the interconnection that best suits the connector that joins the string to the string. The module outputs produced under the conditions of the string interconnection were compared and analyzed.

In this paper, we propose a 3D design method of the vacuum forming method of the front part to improve the lightness and production efficiency of agricultural electric vehicles. For agricultural electric vehicles, lightness and production efficiency are more important than the strength of materials for collision protection. In this paper, we propose a vacuum forming design method that can replace complex machining processes such as laser machining, bending, and painting. The main purpose of this research is to improve product stability, productivity and convenience through 3D design of the front part and development of vacuum forming mold technology. Research procedure follows the 3D modeling of the front part using CATIA, finite element analysis for the structural stability using ABAQUS, manufacturing prototype for the investigation of the dimensions using 3D scanner and actual driving test under agricultural electric vehicle usage environment. The results verifies the proposed 3D design method of the vacuum forming method and are expected to be widely used by agricultural workers through the simplification of the production process of agricultural electric vehicles.
In this exploration, the nuclear magnetic resonance of the $^{207}Pb$ nucleus in $PbWO_4:Mn^{2+}$ and $PbWO_4:Dy^{3+}$ Single Crystals using FT-NMR spectrometer is investigated. The line width of the resonance line for the $^{207}Pb$ nucleus decreases as temperature increases due to motional narrowing. The chemical shift of $^{207}Pb$ NMR spectra also increases as temperature decreases for both crystals. The spinlattice relaxation times $T_1$ of $^{39}K$ nucleus were calculated as a function of temperature (180 K~400 K). The $T_1$ of $^{207}Pb$ nucleus decreases as temperature increases. The dominant relaxation mechanism at the studied temperature range can be deduced as the Raman process, which is the coupling between lattice vibrations and the nuclear spins. This deduction is substantiated by the fact that the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate $1/T_1$ of the $^{207}Pb$ nucleus in $PbWO_4:Mn^{2+}$ and $PbWO_4:Dy^{3+}$ single crystal is proportional to $T^2$, or temperature squared. The activation energies for the $^{207}Pb$ nucleus in $PbWO_4:Mn^{2+}$ and $PbWO_4:Dy^{3+}$ single crystals are $E_a=49{\pm}1meV$ and $E_a=47{\pm}2meV$, respectively.
While it is important to obtain the accurate information on snowfall data due to the increase in damage caused by the heavy snowfall in the winter season, it is not easy to observe the snowfall quantitatively. Recently, snow measurements using a weighing precipitation gauge have been carried out, but there is a problem that high snowfall intensity results in low accuracy. Also, the observed snowfall data are sensitive depending on wind speed, temperature, and humidity. In this study, a new process of quality control for snow water equivalent (SWE) data of the weighing precipitation gauge were proposed to cover the low accuracy of snow data and maximize the data utilization. Snowfall data (SWE) observed by Pluvio, Parsivel, snow-depth meter using laser or ultrasonic, and rainfall gauge in Cloud Physics Observation Site (CPOS) were compared and analyzed. Applying the QC algorithm including the use of number of hydrometeor particles as reference, the increased SWE per the unit time was determined and the data noise was removed and marked by flag. The SWE data converted by the number concentration of hydrometeor particles are tested as a method to restore the QC-removed data, and show good agreement with those of the weighing precipitation gauge, though requiring more case studies. The three events data for heavy snowfall disaster in Pyeongchang area was analyzed. The SWE data with improved quality was showed a good correlation with the eye-measured data ($R^2$ > 0.73).
