  • This study focuses on SIR model for SARS-CoV-2. The SIR model classifies a population into three compartments: susceptible S(t), infected I(t), and recovered R(t) individuals. The SARS-CoV-2 model considers various factors, such as immigration, birth rate, death rate, contact rate, recovery rate, and interactions between infected and healthy individuals to explore their impact on population dynamics during the pandemic. To analyze this model, we employed two powerful semi-analytical methods: the Laplace Adomian decomposition method (LADM) and the differential transform method (DTM). Both techniques demonstrated their efficacy by providing highly accurate approximate solutions with minimal iterations. Furthermore, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the system behavior, we conducted a comparison with the numerical simulations. This comparative analysis enabled us to validate the results and to gain valuable understanding of the responses of SARS-CoV-2 model across different scenarios.

  • The applications of the electrical transmission line theory to the pressure propagation characteristics in the volume loaded fluid transmission line with step and impulse input wave is demonstrated in this paper. The method is based on the premise that the time response is the inverse Fourier transform of frequency spectrum of the wave which spectrum is a product of frequency spectrum of input pressure wave and system transfer function. The frequency response and transient response of step and impulse input wave in the volume loaded fluid transmission line is analysed by the Laplace transform and inverse Laplace transform with FFT numerical algorithm. The numerical solution of the distributed friction model is compared with the average friction model and the infinite product model. And the result is showed that FFT method may have major advantages for the simulation of fluid circuitary.

  • Finding a solution for the Legendre equation is difficult. Especially if it is as a part of the Laplace equation solving in the electric fields. In this paper, first a problem of the generalized differential transform method (GDTM) is solved by the Sturm-Liouville equation, then the Legendre equation is solved by using it. To continue, the approximate solution is compared with the nth-degree Legendre polynomial for obtaining the inner and outer potential of a sphere. This approximate is more accurate than the previous solutions, and is closer to an ideal potential in the intervals.

  • This investigation is concerned with the disturbances in a homogeneous transversely isotropic thermoelastic rotating medium with two temperature, in the presence of the combined effects of Hall currents and magnetic field due to normal force of ramp type. The formulation is applied to the thermoelasticity theories developed by Green-Naghdi Theories of Type-II and Type-III. Laplace and Fourier transform technique is applied to solve the problem. The analytical expressions of displacements, stress components, temperature change and current density components are obtained in the transformed domain. Numerical inversion technique has been applied to obtain the results in the physical domain. Numerically simulated results are depicted graphically to show the effects of Hall current and anisotropy on the resulting quantities. Some special cases are also deduced from the present investigation.

  • The present paper is concerned with the investigation of disturbances in orthotropic thermoelastic medium by using fractional order heat conduction equation with three phase lags due to thermomechanical sources. Laplace and Fourier transform techniques are used to solve the problem. The expressions for displacement components, stress components and temperature change are derived in transformed domain and further in physical domain using numerical inversion techniques. The effect of fractional parameter based on its conductivity i.e., ($0<{\alpha}<1$ for weak, ${\alpha}=1$ for normal, $1<{\alpha}{\leq}2$ for strong conductivity) is depicted graphically on various components.
