The Urban Parks and Rivers Contribute to the Citizen Satisfaction and Utilization in Uijeongbu City

  • This research aimed at measuring Park and Green Satisfaction (PGS) using subjective indicators of 'surface, line and spot' green evaluated by citizens. Also frequency of visits to park and green measured using objective indicators (number of visits) to find the relationship with PGS. A conceptual model of PGS was developed to relate evaluation to satisfaction and finally to utilization of open spaces. A sample of 500 questionnaire survey was employed for Uijeongbu City in Korea. A Structual Equation Modeling (AMOS) techniques was used to test the hypothesized relationship among factors (construct). As a result, first, PGS was explained by three latent factors of 'urban park' (${\gamma}=0.54$), 'linear facilities' (${\gamma}=0.25$), and 'surface green' (${\gamma}=0.15$) respectively. These three exogenous construct was found very useful classification system for open spaces of cities. Second, PGS (${\gamma}=0.34$) was found as a mediating variable to utilization of open spaces and also PGS was closely related to citizens Environmental Quality Satisfaction (EQS), such concept as, 'livability' and 'aesthetic quality'. The more satisfied with park and green the more people use the space. The PGS was an important QOL indicator together with the subjective indicator of 'livability'. Third, jogging and walking trails and bike ways along the river corridor was the most important green facilities contribute to the PGS and EQS. The near the distance (within 500m) the more number of visit to river corridor (green way). The river corridor promote accessibility to nature and other parks.

단지 개발로 인한 우수 유출량 변화 예측 및 저감방안에 관한 연구 - 서울 은평뉴타운 13, 14단지(못자리골)를 중심으로 - (An Analysis of Rainwater Overflow by Housing Development and Overflow Decrease Method - Focused on the 13, 14 Districts (Motjarigol) of the Eun-pyung New Town in Seoul -)

  • This study focuses on hydrological changes caused by developments in the 13th, 14th (Motjarigol) district in Eun Pyoung New Town, Seoul on the basis of the Land Use Planning of development plan. Through analyses from the hydrological experiments about rainfall outflow using universal equation and amounts of infiltration through soils, the changes in amounts of overflows were estimated and the results were discussed from a urban ecological point of view. As a result, it has been predicted that the amount of rainfall outflow at post-development was dramatically increased, compared to pre-development. Installing of Derbris Dams and infiltration facilities were suggested as alternative plan to meditigate these changes. If we apply these alternatives, the rainfall outflow would be reduced up to 30% compared to the development plan without BMPs (Best Management Practice). In conclusion, it is proposed that once the ecological principles were considered during development planning process, we can minimize the adverse effects of developments to our environments.

도시근린공원의 추구편익에 의한 중요-성취도 분석 - 대전광역시 근린공원을 대상으로 (An Importance-Performance Analysis by Benefit Sought in Neighborhood Park - Focused on the Neighborhood Parks in the City of TaeJon)

  • On the assumption that marketing is a useful technique to activate park use, this study aims to find what benefits people pursue and how much they attain them through a park visit. To achieve this, the survey of a Benefits-Sought for a park was conducted at four major parks in the city of Taejon and an Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) was conducted. Additionally, a Present Condition survey was performed with the park managers. As a result, first, it was found that major benefits are a comfortable rest, an escape from bustling city life, to see natural scenery and to promote physical health, and so forth. Second, performance was relatively lower than importance in the case of recreation and leisure activities, which means that facilities should be improved and programs for park use should be developed. Third, at GaYang park, importance and performance are good in balance. DongChunDang park and Seattle park have 5 items and 7 items for which immediate improvements are required. Saemmeury park generally shows good proportions and it can be much activated by improving the learning and experiencing activities. The results objectively show conditions of neighborhood parks in the city of Taejon from a view of park users. Therefore, it is expected that the results would be useful in determining priorities when improving park facilities or their programs.

아파트단지 설계기준 평가를 통한 설계규제에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design Control Through the Evaluation of Design Guidance for Apartment Complexes)

  • Today, the control and criteria of design for apartment site are heavily dependent on laws and ordinance in Korea. But they are indefinite and some part which are deficient in laws and ordinance, are dependent on professional judgement. So trey are not consistent and there are many problems in their applications. The purpose of this study is to suggest fundamental date for the future establishment of better control and criteria, by way of evaluation method about existing control and criteria of design in apartment site in the country. The method of this study is reviewing the present laws and ordinance, carrying out the questionaire survey and making a comparative analysis by doing various statistical analyses. The results of this are as follows; 1) More definite criteria of site density are necessary. 2) Stricter criteria and control about the orientation are indispensible for more efficient use of site. 3) More diverse facilities must be provided. 4) The laws and ordinance must be strengthened for the purpose of increasing the landscape area. 5) It is desirable to provide the criteria of bicycle road to save energy. 6) The facilities criteria for the physically handicapped must be strengthened. 7) The mechanism for the reflection of habitant's attitudes and beliefs should be established. 8) It's necessary to simplify the permission procedure to save tilde and money.

도시공원녹지에 대한 실외위락기능과 만족도의 계량적 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Quantitative Evaluation of Outdoor-Recreational Function and User Satisfaction with Urban Park and Open Space)

  • The Primary purpose of this study is to investigate factors and variables which have significant effects on user satisfaction with recreational facilities in Taejong-Dae recreational complex, thereby establishing indices of planning and development of urban parks and open space. To test the causal models of this research, the date were gathered by self-administered questionnaires from 967 households in Pusan City which were selected by the multi-stage probability sampling methood. The analysis of the multi-stage primarily consists of two phase : The first analysis dealt exploratory factor analysis which identified major factors involved in satisfaction with recreational activities and facilities in Taejong-Dae recreational complex and the second analysis tested the fit of the causal models of this research by employing LISREL methodology. There are three advantages of using LISREL over other multivariate analysis methods : First, measurement error is allowed and calculated in LISREL, otherwise there is a risk of seriously misleading estimates of coefficients ; Second, LISREL deals with latent variables or unmeasured variables ; Third, it enables to test causal relations among variables. The factors analysis identified that five factors are involved in satisfaction with recreational facilities. The five factors of satisfaction with recreational facilities are space for repose and relaxation, active recreation facilities such as pool and zoo, physical exercise facility, convenience and maintenance facility, and linear facility, and linear facility for walking. The second phase analysis tested the fit of the causal models for satisfaction with recreational facilities to the data and identified statistically significant causal linkage among overall satisfaction with Taejong-Dae recreational complex, other endogenous factors and exogenous variables. Overall fits of both causal models were very good. Among endogenous factors, facility for repose and relaxation. linear facility for walking, active recreation facility, facility for convenience and maintenance were identified as having significant effects on overall satisfaction. Exogenous variables which have significant effects on endogenous variables wer also identified. These significant relationships indicate important factors and variables that should be considered in planning and development of the recreational complex. On the basis of these significant causal relationships, implications for planning and the delovepment of Taejong-Dae recreational complex were suggested.

아파트단지 옥외휴게공간의 이용행태와 만족도 (Residents' Behavior and Satisfaction for Outdoor Rest Space in Apartment Complex)

  • This study aims to analyze the actual state, the satisfaction index, and the satisfaction factor of the residents in the apartment adopting thematic outdoor rest space design. This study also proposes the basic data for the standard of resident-centered rest space design, not designer-centered or fashion-followed design. The results are as follows : First, most residents use near by rest space, and more use occur during the evenings; 17 hr. ∼ 21 hr. Most of residents use the rest space with their children, partner, or family. Residents usually take walks and take a rests in the rest space. Most residents use the rest space quietly. Of the rest facilities in the outdoor rest space, benches are most used, walks and pergolas are more frequently used. But waterscape facilities are not particularly used. The satisfaction index of the outdoor rest space is generally low. However, the satisfaction index of the rest space and facilities type shows that the evaluation of rest facilities(e.g. benches) is high. The satisfaction index of the decoration shows that the evaluation for the color and design of facilities is high. In the satisfaction index of the physical environment, the item about the size of rest space is highly appreciated. In the mental satisfaction index of the rest space, the item about whole atmosphere is highly appreciated. Of the factors affecting the general satisfaction index with outdoor rest space, the factor of physical environment is the most important independent-variable. Physical environment and facilities are more important influential factors than the atmosphere of outdoor rest space. In the future, the practical study searching for the preferences of the residents and the activation of use should be preceded.

자연친화적인 공원시설 설치를 위한 정책방향 - 국립공원 공원시설의 자연친화성 평가를 근거로 - (Policy Directions to Build on Nature-Friendly Park Facilities - Based on an Evaluation on the Nature-Friendliness of Park Facilities in National Parks -)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국립공원 내에 자연친화적인 공원시설의 설계와 설치를 위한 정책방향을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 국내 외 친환경건물 인증제도와 관련 연구에 대한 고찰을 통해 입지, 설계와 설치, 운영과 관리부분별로 자연친화성 평가지표를 개발하였다. 본 연구에서는 19개 국립공원의 26개 공원사무소에서 실제 시설을 관리하고 있는 공원관리자 79명을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 자연친화성 평가를 위한 자료를 수집하였다. 분석방법은 기술분석, 집단간 평균의 차이분석, 다차원척도법, 요인분석을 활용하였다. 분석결과, 1) 자연친화성 평가지표들 간의 상대적 중요도를 산정한 결과, 시설의 입지 관련지표의 중요도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 2) 공원시설의 자연친화성 수준에 대한 평가 결과, 입지 관련 지표들의 자연친화성 수준이 가장 높게 나타난 반면, 시설의 설계 및 설치 관련 지표들의 수준이 낮게 평가되었다. 특히, 에너지 효율화와 관련된 지표들의 평가값이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 3) 시설별로 보면, 대피소의 자연친화성이 가장 높게 나타난 반면, 휴게소의 자연친화성이 가장 떨어지는 것으로 평가되었다. 4) 전반적으로 볼 때, 설악산, 오대산, 태안해안국립공원의 공원시설에 대한 자연친화성 수준이 높게 나타난 반면, 경주와 속리산 국립공원의 자연친화성 수준은 떨어지는 것으로 평가되었다. 본 연구 결과는 자원절약 및 자연생태계와 공원자원을 보존하고 탐방객의 편리한 이용을 위한 자연친화적인 공원시설 설치를 위한 권고기준을 마련하는데 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

에콜로지컬디자인을 통한 노후산업시설의 재활용에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Reuse of Old Industrial Facilities through Ecological Design)

  • With expansion of modern cities, a huge number of old industrial facilities have been abandoned. Thus, in the development of ecological city, this study aims to conclude on these old facilities and their ecological landscape designs by analyzing successful cases. The approaches adopted are as follows. Starting with literature review, whereby old industrial facility's definition and developing process are pinpointed, the paper studies representative cases with reuse and re-development theories of ecological design for old industrial facilities, of which renovation types, reuse effects, and design features are particularly examined. Case studies also demonstrate considerations in ecological reuse designs, such as ecological restoration, energy conservation, rainwater collection, and utmost pollution reduction, etc. However, technology, environment and circumstance differences determine that each design project requires concrete analysis, which should also be considered in future ecological design for old industrial facilities.

농촌마을 공동시설 리모델링 및 관리 프로세스 구축에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Establishment of Rural Community Facility Remodeling and Management Process)

  • Recently, the rural village development projects are proceeding as enhancement of the rural landscape as the interest toward rural tourism and rural immigrant has increased. However, the projects are solely to support construction of community space and there has been a lack of community facility remodeling in term of both deterioration facilities and abandoned facilities. Thus in this study proposes rural community facility remodeling process to utilize remodeling of rural deterioration facilities and abandoned facilities. For setting rural community remodeling process, this study analysed preceding research data and suggested rural community remodeling process stage ; planning, spacial resolution, remodeling factor analysis, implementation, maintenance control, based on research data. For systematic performed this process, this study regulated role of local resident, expert and local government on remodeling process stage.

구조물 축소 모형시험과 수치해석에 의한 구조물 안전도 평가

  • 본 기사에서는 기존 구조물의 구조를 변경하여 사용하는 경우 구조물 축소모형시험과 수치해석을 이용하여 안전도를 합리적으로 평가하는 절차에 관하여 지하철 정차장 구조물을 예로하여 살펴보았다. 구조물의 안전도를 평가하기 위한 구조물 축소모형 시험에서는 원형구조물의 실제 거동을 나타내는 모형의 제작이 가장 중요한 사항이다. 이를 위해서 적절한 상사율을 가지는 구조재료의 선정, 합리적인 경계조건의 설정, 실제하중을 고려한 재하방법 등을 결정하여야 한다. 구조재료의 선정과 모형의 축소율은 모형구조의 거동이 탄성범위 내인가 또는 극한거동인가에 따라 결정되는 것이 일반적이다. 안전도 평가를 위한 모형구조물의 제작과정에서는 원형구조물 거동을 수치해석을 통하여 예측하는 과정이 필요하며 이러한 사전해석(pre-analysis)을 통하여 구조물의 개략적인 거동과 측정항목을 정하며, 또한 합리적인 재하방법을 결정하게 된다. 모형구조물에 대한 재하시험을 통하여 원형구조물의 거동을 상사비를 적용하여 바로 예측할 수 있으나 재하하시험후 측정된 사항에 대하여는 모형구조물에 대한 사후해석(post-analysis)를 수행하여 측정값과 비교 검토하여 거동의 일치성을 입증하는 것이 일반적이다. 이런 과정을 거쳐 검증된 수치해석모델을 이용하여 실험에서 고려하지 않은 여러가지 하중조건에 수치적으로 검토할 수 있으며, 이를 이용하여 안전도검토와 적절한 대책을 수립할 수 있게 된다. 사전해석-모형시험-사후해석의 절차에 따른 구조물의 모형실험의 사례는 미국과 유럽에서 찾아볼 수 있으며 이를 통하여 수치해석기법의 발전이 이루어지고 있다. 현재까지 우리나라에서는 구조물 모형실험에 관련된 연구가 활발하지 못한 편이며, 상대적으로 경험이 적게 축적되어 있는 실정이다. 그러나 수치해석기법의 발전과 실제구조물의 안전도를 합리적으로 파악하기 위해서는 구조물모형 실험이 필수적이며 앞으로 연구가 활발히 이루어져야 할 분야로 사료된다.leic acid와 palmitic acid가 주요 지방산이었으나 싸리버섯은 중성지질에서 oleic acid의 함량이 높았다.n the part of special landscape management area, it is necessary to introduce landscape impact assessment system to more effective landscape management.ch served as supporting organizations.
