선암사에서 발견되는 일본정원요소와 작정기법연구 (Japanese Landscape Elements Found and Building Methodology of Sunam Temple)

  • 전라남도의 선암사는 통일신라말에 창건된 이래 오늘날까지 호남의 대표적인 사찰로서 그 법통을 이어가고 있으나, 거듭되는 변화와 발전과정 속에서 전통사찰이 가지고 있어야 하는 경관적 정체성이 상당부분 훼손되었으며, 특히 일본양식이 도입되어 있어 경관의 원형상에 대한 회복이 시급한 상황이다. 실제로 선암사의 경우에는 한국전통사찰에서 나타나는 전통성있는 식재경관과는 상이하며, 정원요소들도 일본식에 가깝다고 할 수 있다. 이렇게 선암사의 원형경관이 변형된 원인 중 가장 중요한 것은 일제강점기에 일본인들에 의해 이루어진 변화와 1976년도에 있었던 조경사업으로 인한 변화라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 경관적 변화를 파악하고, 일본식 정원요소와 작정기법이 어떻게 나타나고 있는지를 파악함으로써, 선암사의 경관적 정체성을 파악하는 것이 연구의 주 목적이다. 연구의 방법으로는 문헌조사, 현장조사, 스님과의 인터뷰를 통해 진행하였으며 그 결과, 선암사는 일본의 조경양식으로부터 상당한 영향을 받은 것이 파악되었으며, 이러한 요소를 감추려다 오히려 더 일본식 경관이 연출되었다는 것도 알 수 있었다.

한국의 공업화건축 공법 도입활용과정 분석을 통한 3D 프린팅기술 개발 방향성 연구 (Discovering Applicable Lessons for '3D Printing R/D Project' Implementation Through Studying the Process of Adopting Overseas Industrialized Building Production Technological Knowhow in the Korean Context)

  • This paper aims at finding some lessons applicable to successful implementation of 'The 3D Printing R/D Project' through both examining the process of adopting overseas industrialized housing production technological knowhow by home builders during the 1970's~1980's period and thereafter until now the various efforts to adjust the technologies efficiently to the Korea's unique situation. Some meaningful lessons can be summarized as follows; I) Deep understanding of 3DP technological know-why along with its inheritance, II) Readjusting of R/D period and goals(cf. Global leader Winsun's 15 years experiment), III) Restructuring for more collaborative R/D B&E system among participating researchers IV) Fostering 3DP expert-engineers and technicians from the early stage, V) Clearing legal barriers in users' adopting 3DP methods necessary, VI) Development of appropriate building material besides concrete. Therefore, it is highly recommended that the above-mentioned 6 lessons positively accepted and applied to the Research Implementation Plan in due course, especially by KICT consortium and KAIA under the guidance of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

서울시 제2종일반주거지역 내 상업기능주택의 배치와 기능적 특성 - 석촌, 양재, 둔촌, 사가정 사례 분석 - (Distribution Pattern and Functional Characteristics of Shop-house in the 2nd Class General Residential Zone in Seoul - A Case Study of Seokchon, Yangjae, Dunchon, and Sagajeong Districts -)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out distributional principles of the shop-houses in residential district through physical composition of residential area. Through the research that are based on literature and field survey, it analysed the relation between physical composition of residential area and the shop-houses of selected four sites under similar urban condition where land readjustment project were held. The consequences of this study are summarized as follows; 1) A road that is not penetrating the inside a residential area is seemed to have low occupancy of shops comparing to other roads with similar hierarchy. And the shops functions as convenience facilities. It can be inferred from the statement above that even a road with higher hierarchy is not easy to form commercial area if without penetrating the residential area. 2) According to the size and the arranged method of Inner blocks of residential area towards major roads, distribution of shop-houses appear to be different. In other words, when shop-houses are located along the roads, the proportion of shop was higher than when located perpendicular to the roads. 3) When the number of average lots are little and the size of block is small, usually, street ratio and the number of corners gets higher, which eventually increases the number of shop-houses.

도로비탈면 녹화공사의 사후환경평가 항목 제언 (Suggestion of the Post-Environmental Evaluation of Road-side Cut Slope after Revegetation Works)

  • This research was thereby made to study and analysis ecological, landscape, and stability qualities of roadside cut Slopes in expressways and national highways that went through revegetation works. Also, evaluation items and framework for integrated assessment of plant structure and restored state for the maintenance were suggested. Following is the summary of the result. firstly, for stabilization of introduced native plant species on roadside cut slops, assessment on the post-project environmental management through long-term monitoring and maintenance works must be made. It signifies a form of authentic recovery and restoration by the native plants. second, current evaluation framework on the test beds is well managed with clear evaluation standards and table while its method of assessing the post management with only test bed results lacks conformity with this study site. Newly developed evaluation framework on the post construction sites is estimated to be used as assessment standards on any roadside construction sites. Third, after site investigation distinction was observed among different revegetating construction types in the long-term perspective. Due to the different duration time of vegetation state between seed-spray measures(degraded in time) and layer-spray measure(maintained), the use of coarse straw-mat mulching work or Coir net was suggested in long term maintenance of cut slopes. forth, segmentation of post environmental assessment is organized into three large categories of "ecological", "stabile", and "landscape" qualities regarding post restoration quality and stability of slope through native plants with which categories marks 50, 30, 20 points of rates. fifth, components of the post environmental assessment were segmented in twelve categories driving results from former experimental construction and newly focused items on site. In the future, it is possible to propose a customized assessment method considering the location and location of construction work if the research on the application of post-environment assessment methods for road construction surface recording is conducted systematically.

산지형 체험테마공원 조성을 위한 환경생태계획 및 훼손저감 기법 연구 (Ecological Planning and Mitigation of Deterioration Technique for Plan of Mountainous Experience Theme Park)

  • Taebaek city is located in the mountainous plateau area therefore the major industry was coal industry. According to dramatically declining of the major industry, Taebaek city is need to alternative industry which associated with considering the geographical characteristics of natural tourism resources for increasing the local economy. On the basis of these reasons, this study can be suggested ecological planning and mitigation of deterioration technique about the these study site. That is the reserved area for mountainous experience theme park. As the results of environmental ecology assessment are following as; The natural ecosystem areas, multi-layer structure forest such as forest of Pinus densiflora, forest of Quercus mongolica and deciduous forest have a high value of nature, diversity and potential. In addition, wild bird habitats were important area as a inhabitation, breeding, feeding and hiding. Therefore, on these areas should be preserved. Also, it needs to conserve on there such as more than three types of wild bird inhabitate areas, the fringe of high biological diversity, the wetland that have got good vegetation condition and the function of amphibia, reptiles crossing. In addition, inhabitation, the waterway of wetland form that have got wide waterside width needs to conserve. In conclusion, on the basis of analysis results such as conditions of plan, environment, ecological assessments, survey informations are able to suggest the connectivity of the axis of forest and management plan. Moreover, in the part of forest restoration plan, we suggest the plan of transplant for a compensation of damaged forest by land use.

농촌마을 공동시설 개선 방향 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Common Facilities in the Rural Village)

  • The main aim of this study is to propose the improvement guidelines for the rural communit;- facilities(short as RCFs) in the village level. 28 villages were selected in consideration of the travelling distance to the nearest city, farming types and percentage of farm to total land. Through the analyses of the physical conditions and utilizing practices of RCFs in case villages, the tentative improvement guidelines were finally formulated. The major results of the study were summarized as follows ' 1. Most villagers thought the village hall and Jungjamok(Korean-style outdoor rest point) being centrally located, which was reflected in their high satisfaction with the accessibility to RCFs.However, they evaluated that above two places were too small and old for normal use, so set forth their views of high dissatisfaction on the scale of RCFs, 2. Analyses results of the survey in the study showed the ranking order of service level of RCFs as following; the village hall l rest building for the aged 1 rural-pocket park 1 village store / playground.And the need for cultural function was much more highly expressed than merely meeting function. 3. Considering together with the analysis results of this study and the related referencing guidelines, it is proposed to introduce the village hall, shop, and village store as basic ones of RCFs in the village level, which should form a single complex connected mutually and functionally each other.

도시공원 내 기존 건축물 제도의 변천 과정 분석 (An Analysis on the Change of Existing Building-related System in Urban Parks)

  • Existing buildings in urban parks are a kind of thing that has been settled and occupied on the site of an unexecuted park. The aim of this study is to identify nature by analyzing the causality and path-dependency through the transformation of the relevant system. The scope of the study was set up as a system for the occupancy of urban parks from 1934 when the building restriction system was established to 2000 when purchase claim (매수청구권) was introduced. The method of study was to get correlation by harmonizing the external and internal mechanisms affecting the relevant institution. The related system showed a modest change in the fourth stage, polymerizing the initial system. In the 1950s and 1960s, the existing buildings in urban parks were 'disguised' by government and the 'regulation' principle was applied since 1967. In the 1980s, the principle of 'protection' and 'support' for parks was added, but in the 1990s, the principle of regulation began to be lifted as the long-term unexecuted urban park (장기미집행 도시공원) problem continued for more than 60 years. Although the public concept of land ownership (토지공개념) has worked strongly for nearly 30 years since 1960, the system has developed into a form of deregulation since 1980. The nature of the relevant institution is first, dependent on the higher-level system and vertical. Second, it implies a conflict of restrictions and acceptance. Third, it is a temporary measure of the park problem. Therefore, the relevant system has long been enhancing the encroachment requirements on urban parks, so fundamental readjustment is needed in the future.

Composition and Utilization of Urban Garden Space Using the Planting System Design Process

  • Background and objective: Urbanization caused a reduction in urban green space and a lack of community spaces. An attempt to solve these problems, urban gardens, have become popular and are currently being implemented in various downtown areas. However, urban gardens have some inadequate aspects from a visual or landscape perspective. The goal of this study was to examine the possibility of an aesthetic and productive garden space by introducing cultivation methods through the planting system design process. Methods: The design process using plants was classified and presented to suggest the importance of the landscape and aesthetic value. An urban garden space was designed according to the perspective of 'production scenery' and 'participation aesthetics'. According to the characteristics of the plant, urban gardens were divided into vertical type (corn, millet, sorghum), climbing type (kidney bean, cucumber, bitter gourd), and runner type (melon, watermelon, peanut). After classifying plants according to the shape of the root, the structure supporting climbing was installed and the crops were cultivated in an upright form with a tunnel. Results: In the designed cultivation, each crop cooperates, without invading each other's space. Compared with the conventional cultivation, there was little difference in production, and management was made more convenient since weed outbreaks were effectively suppressed while runner type crops cover over the land's surface. Since the positions of each crop are clearly distinguished, the aesthetic value is improved by offering a sense of rhythm with a balanced design. Conclusion: The results suggest that the cultivation methods through the plant system design process have aesthetic as well as productive value, and the design using plants, an infinite living resource, could lead to an expansion of the design field. Moreover, it would enable a sustainable symbiosis between industry and environment. There is potential for the design industry to make significant progress through collaboration with agriculture, horticulture, and landscape architecture.

역사도시구조와 연계한 도시수체계의 구성형태와 역할에 관한 연구 - 경주, 개경, 한양, 수원화성을 중심으로 - (A Composition and Role of Urban Water System in Connection with Historic City Structure - Focusing on Gyeongju, Gaegyeong, Hanyang, and Suwon Hwaseong -)

  • 본 연구는 신라왕경 경주, 고려 개경, 조선 한양, 조선후기 신도시로 조성된 수원 화성을 중심으로 우리나라의 역사도시에서 나타난 도시수체계의 구성방법이 지니는 특성을 파악해보고자하는 목적을 지니고 있다. 특히 도시입지, 도로, 도시시설 배치 등을 중심으로 도시골격구조와 연계하여 물길이 지니는 의미를 살펴보고 수체계의 구성형태에 대한 해석을 통하여 도시 내 수공간 경영에 투입되었던 기술적, 계획적 요소와 함께 도시구조와의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구대상지에서는 자연수계를 기반으로 부분적인 하천 정비와 인공수계를 도입하여 도시수체계가 구축되고 있다. 특히 물과 자연수계는 도시의 입지를 결정하는 핵심요소로 작용하고 있으며 도시구조와 도시발달과정, 도시구조와 밀접한 관계를 지니고 있음을 알 수 있다. 여기에는 지리적 관념과 어우러져 물이 지니는 상징적 의미와 더불어 치수, 이수 등의 관점에서 요구되는 현실적 수요가 중요한 배경으로 자리하고 있다. 물 공간과 관련된 다양한 수요에 대응하기 위하여 도시 형성·발달과정에서 물 공간을 경영하기 위한 다양한 계획적, 기술적 요소가 도입되었다. 연구대상지에 대한 분석을 통하여 도시형성·발달과정에서 도시수체계가 지니는 계획적 요소를 종합해보면 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫째로 연구대상지로 선정된 신라왕경 경주, 고려 개경, 조선 한양, 수원 화성의 도시수체계를 구축하는 과정에는 배수, 재해를 고려한 치수의 관점이 공통적으로 작용하고 있지만 수체계의 구축방법이나 활용성에서는 차이를 나타내고 있다. 둘째로 물과 자연수계는 도시입지의 상징적 요소로서, 그리고 지리적 관념과 어우러진 도시 입지를 결정하고 도시의 좌향을 결정하는 핵심요소로 작용하고 있다. 셋째로 도시가 형성되기 이전의 자연수계는 지형여건과 어우러져 도시 형성·발달과정에서 구축되는 도시수체계의 구성형태를 결정하는 기반으로 작용하고 있다. 넷째로 자연수계를 기반으로 구축된 도시수체계는 자연물길과 계획적 인공수로가 결합되어 도시구조의 일부로서 위계별 수계의 활용성이 차이를 나타내고 있다. 다섯째로 도시수체계는 배수체계와 재해를 고려한 치수의 관점 이외에 도시용지의 확보, 도시시설 배치와 영역 확보, 기능지역 구성, 토지구획과 연계하여 계획적으로 구축되고 있다.

일제강점기 광장의 생성과 특성 - 조선은행 앞 광장을 중심으로 - (Creation of the Plaza and Its Features during the Japanese Colonial Period - Focused on the Plaza in Front of Joseon Bank -)

  • 광장은 도시의 정체성을 드러내는 공간이다. 광화문 광장과 서울 광장은 시민의 의견을 자유롭게 표출하는 대표적인 광장이다. 서울 도심 내 주요 광장들은 근대 도시계획이 시행된 일제강점기에 그 형태가 완성되었다. 그중에서 조선은행 앞 광장은 현재까지 '광장'이라고 부르지만, 광화문 광장이나 서울 광장과는 다른 특성이 있다. 일제강점기에 행정, 경제, 문화의 중심이었음에도, 이 광장에 대한 연구는 미진하다. 본 연구는 조선은행 앞 광장의 생성 과정과 변화를 통해 광장의 특성을 파악하고자 한다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 조선은행 앞 광장은 토지 매입과 설계 공모를 통해 완성된 기획의 결과물이다. 1910년대에 총독부가 도로의 폭을 넓히는 과정에서 조선은행 앞의 일곱 필지를 매입하여 광장의 공간적 기틀을 마련했다. 1930년대 후반에는 교통의 원활한 흐름을 위해 순환식 회전교차로 시스템이 도입되고, 설계 공모를 통해 분수대를 설치하면서 현재의 광장형태가 완성되었다. 광장으로 기획되었으나, 점차 로터리로 변화했다. 둘째, 조선은행 앞 광장은 일제의 권력과 근대성을 과시하는 랜드마크이자 상징 광장이다. 자동차 중심의 교차로와 대형 분수대는 초점 경관을 형성했다. 서양식 대형건물로 둘러싸인 공간을 중심으로 상업 광고와 네온사인이 설치되었다. 조선은행 앞 광장은 당시 근대 도시문화를 체험하는 첨단의 공간이었다. 지배자의 권력을 과시하는 스펙터클한 경관은 경성의 대표 이미지로 소비되었지만, 피지배자에게는 낯설고 소외된 경관으로 인식되었다. 본 연구는 조선은행 앞 광장 자체에 집중하여 생성 과정을 추적하였고, 그 특성을 고찰했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 서울의 도시변화와 함께 정치 경제적 여건을 반영한 공간 연구에 대해서는 향후 연구과제로 남긴다.
