We present an intelligent optical switching structure based on our lambda-group model along with a working scheme that can provide a distinctive approach for dividing complicated traffic into specific tunnels for better optical performance and grooming efficiency. Both the results and figures from our experiments show that the particular channel partition not only helps in reducing ports significantly, but also improves the average signal-to-noise ratio of the wavelength channel and the blocking performance for dynamic connection requests.

대용량 연구자원과 실시간 데이터 전달을 필요로 하는 대용량 어플리케이션은 현재의 인터넷 환경보다 더 안정적이고 성능이 우수한 네트워킹 환경을 요구하고 있다. 최근의 글로벌 연구망에서는 이러한 어플리케이션의 요구를 충족하기 위해 람다 네트워킹 기술과 자원할당 시스템의 활용에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 본 논문에서는 성능과 안정성이 우수한 람다네트워킹의 장점을 반영하기 위해 기존 DRS(Dynamic Right-Sizing) 모델을 수정하였다. 아울러, 융합형 NRPS(Network Resource Provisioning System) 모델에 본 논문의 수정된 DRS 모델을 적용한 고성능 람다 네트워크의 설계방안을 제시한다.

첨단 응용 프로그램이 (예: 고에너지 물리학 대용량 파일전송, 비압축 HDTV 스트리밍) 안정적인 고 대역폭을 요구함에 따라 사용자에게 동적으로 대역폭을 전용으로 할당해줄 수 있는 람다 네트워킹이 대두되었다. User Controlled LightPath(UCLP) 는 람다 네트워킹을 용이하게 하는 소프트웨어로써 네트워크 자원을 Web Service로 정의 및 관리하여 확장성이 뛰어나다. 본 논문에서는 UCLP를 어떻게 KREONet2 와 GLORIAD-KR 환경에 맞게 구축하였는지를 보인다. 더불어 기존의 UCLP 가 옵티컬 스위치의 SONET 기술을 기반으로 하여 링크 레벨의 Articulated Private Network(APN) 만을 생성하는 한계점을 분석하고 Layer2 VLAN 기술을 도입하여 효율적인 네트워크 레벨의 APN을 생성할 수 있게 제안한다.

인터넷 기술은 지난 30여 년간 비약적으로 발전하여 모든 산업분야를 변혁시키고 개인과 기업의 필수도 구로서 국가의 중요한 기반시설로 자리 잡았다. 1990년대 중반부터 선진국들은 인터넷을 과학 및 교육 분야의 발전에 가장 중요한 기반시설의 하나로 인식하고 국가 연구 교육망을 구축하고 이를 새로운 망 기술과 과학 기술 개발을 위한 도구로 제공하고 있다. 이 논문에서 우리는 선진국의 연구 교육망 발전 현황을 종합적으로 살펴보고, 국내 첨단망 활동을 선진국과 비교하여 문제점 분석하고, 이를 토대로 한국 첨단망의 발전 방안을 제시하였다.

This article aims to explore the contribution of social media value to a company's financial performance in a digital environment economy since the awareness of companies and investors in the use of social media opens up new mechanisms for disseminating information. Quantitative method is used in this study with Multivariate Analysis of Variance as the analysis tool. The data used is secondary data gathered from Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) using 308 companies as samples. In the multivariate test, four kinds of multivariate significance tests were carried out, namely Pillai Trace, Wilk Lambda, Hotelling's Trace, and Roy's Largest Root. It was found that social media value has a small contribution in the difference of the level of profitability and the value of the company in Indonesia, but it doesn't have a contribution to the difference of the level of liquidity. The contribution was an implication of online Word of Mouth (WOM) motives which are interrelated with signal theory and as additional information for investors in relation to single-person decision theory. This study provides an insight into the importance of social media management considering that the world of digital economy will continue to develop, so companies in Indonesia need to take advantage of these opportunities.
