과잉교육의 원인과 경제적 효과 (The Cause and Economic Effects of Overeducation)

  • 본 논문은 고학력화에 따른 직장불일치의 중요한 지표로서 과잉교육에 주목하여 과잉교육의 원인, 노동시장에 미치는 영향, 그리고 과잉교육의 해소과정을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 과잉교육은 응답자의 주관적 판단과 직업사전상의 필요학력을 기준으로 식별하였으며, 분석결과 과잉교육 규모는 전문대졸의 10.1%-20.7%, 대졸의 18.8%인 것으로 나타났다. 대학의 질이 과잉교육에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 학생1인당 학교시설면적이 과잉교육을 유의하게 낮추는 효과가 있었다. 또한 대학의 질은 임금에 제한적인 영향만을 미쳐 교육투자 확대가 졸업생의 임금상승에 별다른 영향력이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 과잉교육의 임금효과는 유의하지 않거나 미약하여 기업이 생산요소 대체, 신기술 도입, 직무내용 변화 등의 내부조정을 통해 하향취업한 근로자를 활용할 가능성을 제기하였다. 아울러, 과잉교육이 직장이동 경험에는 양의 영향을 미치지만 직장이동이 과잉교육 해소의 주된 통로는 아님이 밝혀졌다 이로부터 교육투자 확대가 과잉교육 해소에 제한적인 효과만을 가지며, 과잉교육에 따른 인적자원투자의 낭비가 심각하다는 증거는 발견할 수 없었다.

  • 과거 산업화 시대와 비교하여 현대 지식사회에서는 노동력의 중심이 육체노동에서 지식 노동으로 이동되었지만, 지식근로자의 생산성에는 극적인 성과가 나타나지 않고 있다. 따라서 "현대경영학의 아버지"라고 불리는 피터 드러커의 사상을 기반으로 전문가, 성과, 집중, 자기관리, 인생의 후반부의 지식근로의 요인과 지식근로자의 생산성 결정요소인 과업, 혁신, 자율성, 교육, 품질, ICT활용능력과의 연관성에 대하여 연구한 결과, 지식근로의 요인에 있어서는 성과>집중>자기관리>전문가, 인생의 후반부 순으로 연관성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 특히 지식근로자에게 모든 생산성 결정요소와 영향요인으로는 성과로 나타났다. 따라서 지식근로자는 "성과"를 중심으로 자신의 분야에서 끊임없는 정보의 탐색과 활용을 통하여 목표를 달성하고, 조직과 사회에 공헌하면서 더불어 살아가는 공동체를 형성하는 데 앞장서야 할 것이다.

간호사가 지각한 병원조직의 내부마케팅 수행도, 감정노동, 직장-가정 갈등이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Internal Marketing Activity, Emotional Labor and Work-Family Conflict on Turn-Over of Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify internal marketing activity, emotional labor and work-family conflict that influence turn-over in hospital nurses. Methods: Participants were 513 nurses from 2 general hospitals in Chung-nam and Gyeonggi Provinces, South Korea. Data were collected from September 1 to 30, 2011 using self-report questionnaires. Stepwise multiple regression was used to identify association between variables. Results: The mean score for internal marketing activity was $94.7{\pm}14.7$, emotional labor, $31.4{\pm}5.5$, work-family conflict, $19.6{\pm}4.1$, and turn-over, $13.7{\pm}3.4$. After adjusting for general characteristics, stepwise multiple regression showed that work-family conflict (${\beta}=.20$, p<.001), marketing activity (${\beta}=-.21$, p<.001), and emotional labor (${\beta}=.22$, p<.001) were associated with turn-over. These predictors accounted for 33% of variance in turn-over. Conclusion: The results of this study show that work-family conflict was the most influential predictor indicating a need for the development of strategies to reduce work-family conflict and emotional labor. At the same time internal marketing activity should be supported in the hospital by analyzing the needs for nurses. Also career development programs and mentor systems will be useful for effective manpower management and quality improvement of nursing services.

백화점 판매원의 정서성과 성과압력에 따른 감정노동 연구 (The Effect of a Salesperson's Affectivity and the Performance Stressor on Emotional Labor at the Department Stores)

  • Retail stores with a primary competitive advantage in satisfying customers with high quality differentiated services depend heavily on a sales force to produce and deliver services in a consistent manner. Salespersons in a high service retail context are required to act to express certain types of emotion in compliance with the emotional rules of the organization that is conceptualized as "emotional labor" in the literature. This study adopts the dyadic model of emotional labor originally proposed by Hochschild. A survey method is implemented to collect data to test the hypotheses among the variables such as positive and negative affectivity, performance stressor, emotional labor, burnout, and job satisfaction. One hundred and twelve responses were analyzed by factor analysis and path analysis with SPSS12.0 and Amos 6.0. The factor analysis confirms that emotional labor is composed of deep acting and surface acting. Eleven hypotheses were tested by path analysis and seven were accepted. The major findings are that deep acting was affected by positive affectivity, negative affectivity, and a performance stressor. The surface acting was affected only by negative affectivity. Surface acting had an indirect negative effect on job satisfaction via emotional burnout while deep directly acting influenced job satisfaction. Furthermore, the interaction effect between positive affectivity and a performance stressor on surface acting was significant. The implications for retail firms are discussed based on the findings with suggestions for future studies.

분만 2기 산모의 직립자세가 분만결과에 미치는 효과: 체계적 문헌고찰 (Effect of Postpartum Outcomes in Mother's Upright Position During the Second Stage of Labor: Systematic Review)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine whether upright position is effective in labor through systematic review in randomized controlled trials. Methods: We established the PICO (Patient-Intervention-Comparator-Outcome) strategy, and reviewed 282 literatures from national and international electronic databases, and finally selected 9 references based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. We evaluated the quality of references and carried out a meta-analysis. Results: The maternal outcomes showed that the duration of their second-stage labor was 2.29 minutes shorter than that of the women in the recumbent position, and were less likely to have episiotomy. The other outcomes, including the mode of delivery, blood loss, hemoglobin level, use of oxytocin, use of analgesics, and perineal laceration, did not differ between the groups. The fetal heart rate abnormality occurred less than in the control group. The Apgar scores of the groups did not differ. Conclusion: There is evidence that an upright position in the second stage of labor reduces the duration of the second stage of labor, the incidence of episiotomy, and an abnormal fetal heart rate.

보편적 보육료 지원정책이 여성 노동공급과 출산율에 미친 영향 (The Effects of Universal Child Care Subsidy on Female Labor Supply and Fertility)

  • 본 연구는 영유아 보육료 지원정책이 보육시설공급률에 따라 노동공급과 출산율에 상이한 영향을 미쳤음을 분석하였다. 구체적으로 보육시설공급률이 높을수록 보육료 지원에 의해 보육시설 입소에 유리한 다자녀모의 경력유지 확률이 증가했을 뿐 아니라 첫째 자녀의 출산율이 높아졌고, 국공립 어린이집의 공급률이 높은 경우에는 보육비 지원 이후 둘째 자녀 출산율도 유의하게 높아졌음을 보여준다. 이는 보육료 지원정책의 효과가 출생순위에 따른 보육시설 입소 우선순위, 거주지역 보육시설의 양적, 질적 공급 정도에 따라 달라짐을 보여준다.

노조에 대한 태도와 협력적 노사관계가 조직몰입과 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향: IT산업을 중심으로 (The Effect of the Attitude to Labor Unions and Union-Management Cooperation on Organizational Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior: Evidence from the IT Industry)

  • 오늘날 IT산업의 발전에 따라 대형 IT 기업들이 등장하기 시작하면서 IT산업 내 노동조합의 중요성이 보다 커지기 시작했다. 노조는 조직 내 근로생활의 질을 향상시킴으로써 구성원을 만족시키며 역할을 수행해 나가야 한다. 노조가 역할을 충실히 수행하게 되면 구성원은 노조에 대한 긍정적 태도를 지니게 될 것이다. 이에 따라 구성원은 보다 만족하게 될 것이고 조직에서 보다 긍정적 결과들을 만들게 될 것이다. 또한 근로자가 노조에 긍정적 태도를 지녀도 노사가 협력하지 않거나(강성노조), 노사는 협력하지만 근로자가 부정적 태도를 지니면(어용노조) 구성원들의 성과도 저해될 것이다. 따라서 노조에 대한 긍정적 태도와 노사의 협력적 관계는 동시에 수반되어야 할 것이다. 이러한 관계를 노조에 대한 태도(만족, 몰입 신뢰)가 조직몰입과 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향과 협력적 노사관계의 조절효과를 통해 설명한다. 이 연구는 IT 산업에서 노조가 나아가야 할 방향으로 조합원들에게 인정을 받기 위해 노력하며 동시에 사용자와의 긍정적 관계를 유지해야 함을 설명한다.

A Study on IoT based Real-Time Plants Growth Monitoring for Smart Garden

  • There are many problems that occur currently in agriculture industries. The problems such as unexpected of changing weather condition, lack of labor, dry soil were some of the reasons that may cause the growth of the plants. Condition of the weather in local area is inconsistent due to the global warming effect thus affecting the production of the crops. Furthermore, the loss of farm labor to urban manufacturing jobs is also the problem in this industry. Besides, the condition for the plant like air humidity, air temperature, air quality index, and soil moisture are not being recorded automatically which is more reason for the need of implementation system to monitor the data for future research and development of agriculture industry. As of this, we aim to provide a solution by developing IoT-based platform along with the irrigation for increasing crop quality and productivity in agriculture field. We aim to develop a smart garden system environment which the system is able to auto-monitoring the humidity and temperature of surroundings, air quality and soil moisture. The system also has the capability of automating the irrigation process by analyzing the moisture of soil and the climate condition (like raining). Besides, we aim to develop user-friendly system interface to monitor the data collected from the respective sensor. We adopt an open source hardware to implementation and evaluate this research.

Evaluation of Auditors' Professional Skills in Local Auditing Firms in Hanoi

  • In recent years, the quality of auditing human resources in domestic auditing firms in Hanoi has certain limitations in which professional skills of auditors have not been given adequate attention. The number of customers at local auditing firms is forecast to increase gradually. Therefore, the quantity and quality of auditors need to be improved to meet requirements of the workload. Data for this research were collected through surveying 120 customers of domestic auditing firms in Hanoi on the 5-point Likert scale. Based on the collected data, we employ both qualitative and quantitative methodology along with some tools such as descriptive statistics, Cronbach's Alpha, T-test and ANOVA to analysis, evaluate and measure the professional skills of auditors in local auditing firms in Hanoi. The results show that the professional skills of auditors in auditing firms include 17 attributes. The majority of respondents show appreciation for the professionalism and professional competence of auditors, while, they think that critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills are still limited and need to be improved. These findings, not only help auditors to improve themselves, but also provide solutions for managers of domestic auditing firms in Hanoi to enhance quality of audited human resources.
