This study proposes the accurate labor inducement coefficient (employment inducement coefficient/hiring inducement coefficient) of Korea software industry by analyzing the inter-industry relation using the modified inter-industry table. To rewrite the inter-industry table of Korea, some previous studies related to the inter-industry analysis were reviewed and the key problems were identified. First, in the current inter-industry table published by the Bank of Korea, the output of software industry includes not only the pure software related output but also the output of non-software section due to the misclassification of the industry. This causes the output to become bigger than the actual output of software industry. Therefore, if the inter-industry table is not modified, the labor inducement coefficient would be overestimated too much. Second, during rewriting the inter-industry table, the output is changing. The inter-industry table is the table in the form of rows and columns, which records the transactions of goods and services among industries which are required to continue the activities of each industry. Accordingly, if only an output of a specific industry is changed, the reliability of the table would be degraded because the table is prepared based on the relations with other industries. This possibly causes the labor inducement coefficient to be over or underestimated. This study tries to correct these problems to get the more accurate labor inducement coefficient of the software industry. First, to get the output of the pure software section only, the data from the Korea Electronics Association (KEA) was used in the inter-industry table. Second, to prevent the difference in the outputs during rewriting the inter-industry table, the difference between the output in the current inter-industry table and the output from KEA data was identified and then it was defined as the non-software section output for the analysis. The followings are the labor inducement coefficient obtained when the output is divided into the pure software section (package software, and IT service) and non-software section. As of 2011, the employment inducement coefficients of pure software section, package software section and IT service of Korea were 8.616, 13.998, and 7.773 respectively while the labor inducement coefficients of pure software section, package software section and IT service of Korea were 7.979, 13.332, and 7.083, respectively.

This study analyzed the effect of the operation system of human resource management. First, the primary operating direction of the goal, talent selection system, and personnel management personnel management affected almost all the performance variables. More than one primary goal of personnel management in the loyalty inspired workers more than the fixed labor costs, and external recruitment of short-term hiring favored internal training scheme for long-term employment, employee training, and development in the long term more than short-term performance improvement the more weight to quality and innovation in the productivity of labor, product and services, employee-driven innovation, reduce turnover, had a positive impact on labor relations. On the other hand, the primary goal of personnel management and personnel selection methods had a positive impact on financial performance. Personnel management operating direction did not significantly affect the financial results. Second, the main type of employee utilization affected the quality of products and services, and labor relations. Trying to take advantage of temporary workers more than regular workers had a positive impact on the quality of products and services, and labor relations. Third, the operating unit of Personnel Management had an impact on the degree of innovation of products and services. Both personal achievements and the performance of the operating units had a positive impact on the degree of innovation of products and services, more than teamwork and personnel management. This study provided practical implications for verifying the effect of detailed characteristics of human resource management on financial/non-financial business performance.
Tablet PCs are gaining increasing popularity in today's context, offering convenience in store operations. However, some customers may have complaints. From the perspective of shadow labor, customers may perceive using tablet PCs as additional tasks, implying that tasks have been transferred from service staff to customers themselves. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the causes of customers' perception of shadow labor when using tablet PCs (perceived difficulty of use and perceived compulsion to use) and how these perceptions can influence their intention to reuse tablet PC ordering services. Additionally, the study examines whether customers' perception of shadow labor is influenced by digital literacy and information overload and investigates the positive impact of benefits arising from using tablet PCs on their perception of shadow labor. This research conducted an online survey through the Chinese survey specialist website "Wenjuanxing," targeting customers who use tablet PCs to place orders in restaurants. After collecting a total of 376 valid data points, demographic characteristics, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, validity analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 24.0. The empirical results from the 376 respondents reveal that digital literacy and information overload affect the perception of shadow labor and also influence the intention to reuse tablet PC ordering services. Furthermore, benefits showed significant moderating effects on these relationships.

Purpose: This study was done to identify internal marketing activity, emotional labor and work-family conflict that influence turn-over in hospital nurses. Methods: Participants were 513 nurses from 2 general hospitals in Chung-nam and Gyeonggi Provinces, South Korea. Data were collected from September 1 to 30, 2011 using self-report questionnaires. Stepwise multiple regression was used to identify association between variables. Results: The mean score for internal marketing activity was $94.7{\pm}14.7$, emotional labor, $31.4{\pm}5.5$, work-family conflict, $19.6{\pm}4.1$, and turn-over, $13.7{\pm}3.4$. After adjusting for general characteristics, stepwise multiple regression showed that work-family conflict (${\beta}=.20$, p<.001), marketing activity (${\beta}=-.21$, p<.001), and emotional labor (${\beta}=.22$, p<.001) were associated with turn-over. These predictors accounted for 33% of variance in turn-over. Conclusion: The results of this study show that work-family conflict was the most influential predictor indicating a need for the development of strategies to reduce work-family conflict and emotional labor. At the same time internal marketing activity should be supported in the hospital by analyzing the needs for nurses. Also career development programs and mentor systems will be useful for effective manpower management and quality improvement of nursing services.

Retail stores with a primary competitive advantage in satisfying customers with high quality differentiated services depend heavily on a sales force to produce and deliver services in a consistent manner. Salespersons in a high service retail context are required to act to express certain types of emotion in compliance with the emotional rules of the organization that is conceptualized as "emotional labor" in the literature. This study adopts the dyadic model of emotional labor originally proposed by Hochschild. A survey method is implemented to collect data to test the hypotheses among the variables such as positive and negative affectivity, performance stressor, emotional labor, burnout, and job satisfaction. One hundred and twelve responses were analyzed by factor analysis and path analysis with SPSS12.0 and Amos 6.0. The factor analysis confirms that emotional labor is composed of deep acting and surface acting. Eleven hypotheses were tested by path analysis and seven were accepted. The major findings are that deep acting was affected by positive affectivity, negative affectivity, and a performance stressor. The surface acting was affected only by negative affectivity. Surface acting had an indirect negative effect on job satisfaction via emotional burnout while deep directly acting influenced job satisfaction. Furthermore, the interaction effect between positive affectivity and a performance stressor on surface acting was significant. The implications for retail firms are discussed based on the findings with suggestions for future studies.
Purpose: The aim of this study is to suggest a direction for the development of effective methods for relieving labor pain, by analyzing non-pharmacological interventions through a literature review. Methods: Collection of literature data in this study has been accomplished through theses, reports, and academic data searched on databases of the Research Information Sharing Services (Riss), PubMed, ProQuest, and the National Discovery for Science Leaders (NDSL). Results: Non-pharmacological interventions analyzed as effective in relieving labor pain, in literature published both within and outside of Korea, included: pre-delivery education, Yoga, Doula delivery care, Massage, Music therapy, Aromatherapy, Hypnosis, TENS, Sterilized water injection, and Acupuncture. Conclusion: Several different interventions have been attempted for the relief of labor pain. Since even the same intervention shows different results depending on the research method utilized, critical factors must be acknowledged that compromise the effectiveness of these methods. In addition, study of potential synergy effects of interventions that combine these various methods might also prove to be significant.
