  • The multichannel quantum defect theory (MQDT) is reformulated into the form of the configuration mixing (CM) method using the geometrical construction of the S matrix developed for the system involving two open and one closed channels. The reformulation is done by the phase renormalization method of Giusti-Suzor and Fano. The rather unconventional short-range reactance matrix K whose diagonal elements are not zero is obtained though the Lu-Fano plot becomes symmetrical. The reformulation of MQDT yields the partial cross section formulas analogous to Fano's resonance formula, which has not easily been available in other's work.

  • The purpose of this paper is to correct erroneous proofs of theorems of He, Lu, Wang and Zheng [1] about the topological pressure of continuous flows without fixed points and to give proofs of some results which are stated in the literature without proofs and thereby to show that their theorems are still true.

  • Interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) is a remote sensing technique capable of measuring ground surface deformation with sub-centimeter precision and spatial resolution in tens-ofmeters over a large region. This paper describes basics of InSAR and highlights our studies of Alaskan volcanoes with InSAR images acquired from European ERS-l and ERS-2, Canadian Radarsat-l, and Japanese JERS-l satellites.

  • This work developed a code analysis & extraction tool named Function Network Analyzer (FNA) to reduce the cost of software safety analysis. FNA analyzes functions and variables which a given function depends on, and extracts subset of code that can be compiled of automotive operating system, final resulting a well-ordered code sequence that can be compiled for model checking technique. And the experimental result illustrates that FNA can get 100% accurate rate and over 96% reduction rate by testing API functions from trampoline system.

  • We propose a flexible camera calibration system for mobile platform to calibrate the camera's intrinsic parameters which based on the geometrical property of the vanishing points determined by two perpendicular groups of parallel lines. The system only requires the camera to observe a rectangle card show at a few(at least four)different orientation. The experimental results of the real images show the proposed calibration system in this paper is easy to use and robust.

  • The aim of this paper is to mainly establish the sufficient and necessary conditions for the boundedness of the commutator Ω,b which is generated by the parameter Marcinkiwicz integral Ω and the Lipschitz function b on generalized Orlicz-Morrey space L,(Rd) in the sense of the Adams type result (or Spanne type result). Moreover, the necessary conditions for the parameter Marcinkiewizcz integral Ω on the L,(Rd), and the commutator [b,Ω] generated by the Ω and the space BMO on the L,(Rd), are also obtained, respectively.
