The subjects were fifteen dong at downtown of Busan. LQ index and cluster analysis were used to research space functions of downtown in both years, that is to say, 2000 and 2005. At the analysis of LQ index in 2000, the secondary industries were specialized at traditional markets as well as large-scaled commercial districts, while the tertiary industries were done at financial business districts. LQ index in 2005 did not make change mostly comparing with the one in 2000: But, main businesses at downtown that belonged to the tertiary industries rapidly dwindled at old downtown to make appearance at Seomyeon of new downtown. Main businesses at old downtown in the past moved to new downtown to dwindle main functions at old downtown. The cluster analysis was done by using LQ index to classify into three clusters. The first cluster was old downtown that functions of downtown dwindle, and the second cluster was residence area, and the third cluster was the area where space function at downtown was very much active. The findings were as follow: Firstly, various kinds of urban regeneration plans should be made to control dwindling of old downtown and to establish comprehensive and systematic plans on new downtown. Secondly, downtown space functions could be placed depending upon specialization of each industry so that industries being suitable to the area should be introduced to construct development base.

In this study, the specialized marine industry in the area (Incheon) of the case study was identified and the issues related to the current status of marine space utilization were diagnosed. Marine space utilization was selected as the specialized marine industry activity in Incheon through the location quotient index analysis of the marine industry in the target area. A case review of the Yeongheungdo demonstration area and diagnosis of issues in the marine energy development sector with the lowest degree of specialization was conducted, to solve field problems such as overlapping problems in marine-use zones and civil complaints between stakeholders. It was concluded that it is necessary to prepare a policy decision support system based on objective and quantitative grounds.

The purpose of this study are as follows. First, to analyze relative LQ index of the No. of character company, the No. of employee and the amount of revenue. Second, to analyze the strength and weakness about technology competence, human resource competence, infra competence and network competence of regional character contents R&D. The results are as follows. The relative competitively LQ index results of company infra indicated all regional area are over 1 LQ index. But, in case of except of seoul & kyunggi, the competence LQ index of R&D which is jeju, dongnam(pusan & kyungnam) are in order. Final result suggested that the high competitiveness of regional character industry are seoul & kyunggi, jeju, dongnam area.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the status and the competitiveness improvement of character industry comparing to relative LQ index of the no. of character company, the no. of employee and the amount of revenue of 2007, 2009, and 2010 between including Metro area and regional blocks(kangwon, chungchung, daekung, honam, dongnam and jeju region). The results of this research are as follows. In case whole regional analysis, no. of employee and no. of character company suggested jeju, dongnam and Metro have high competitiveness during the 3 years and amount of revenue suggested consistent high competitiveness 6 block except Metro. But in case of except of Metro, no. of character company and the no. of employee indicated dongnam and jeju showed competitiveness during 3 years. Chungchung area indicated high competitiveness at no. of employee(2009) and no. of character company(2011). The amount of revenue indicated jeju area have high competitiveness during 3 years.

An MR(Magneto-Rheological) fluids damper is designed and applied to vibration suppression of a 1/4 car model. The damping constant of MR damper changes according to input current which is controlled in a semi-active way. Several control algorithms are compared in simulations and experiments. The advantage of the proposed Frequency shaped LQ control is that passenger comfort is emphasized in the range of 4~8Hz and driving safety is emphasized around the resonance frequency of unsprung mass.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the industry infra competence status between game and character industry and to investigate relational industry cluster by LQ index. Applying to relative LQ index was no. of company, the no. of employee and the amount of revenue of 2012 years between game industry and character industry. The regional cluster block composed of metropolitan block (Seoul, incheon & Kyunggi area) and regional blocks(kangwon, chungchung, daekung, honam, dongnam and jeju region). The results of this research are as follows. First, the competency level of the quantity estimation of game industry and character industry highly concentrated to Seoul, Incheon & Kyunggi block. In case of the inter industrial competency analysis including metropolitan block, the high competency level indicated among metropolitan block, kangwon, dongnam and jeju region. In case of except metropolitan, dongnam and jeju region indicated high OSMU possibility between two industry. The contribution of this research was assessment of regional game and character culture contents' industry competences. And this research suggested fact based quantitative analysis of OSMU accessibility and validity of game and character industry's competence.

An inverse optimal problem for homing guidance with angular constraint is addressed. The gains of BPN(Biased PN) are investigated by duality analysis related to the weighting matrices of the performance index in the LQ control problem. Moreover, the criteria for the existence of optimal gains are derived from the generalized Riccati equation. Based on the conditions we achieve the gain set of BPN to be optimal solution to the LQ problem with terminal constraints. To validate and demonstrate the proposed approach 3-DOF simulations are carried out.

In general, a nonlinear system is linearized in the form of a multiplication of the 1st and 2nd order system. This paper reports a design method of a weighting matrix and control law of LQ control to move the double poles that have a Jordan block to a pair of complex conjugate poles. This method has the advantages of pole placement and the guarantee of stability, but this method cannot position the poles correctly, and the matrix is chosen using a trial and error method. Therefore, a relation function (𝜌, 𝜃) between the poles and the matrix was derived under the condition that the poles are the roots of the characteristic equation of the Hamiltonian system. In addition, the Pole's Moving-range was obtained under the condition that the state weighting matrix becomes a positive semi-definite matrix. This paper presents examples of how the matrix and control law is calculated.

The purpose of this study is to introduce a relative specialization index, the Nam-Oh-Hong Index(NOHI) and to investigate regional distribution of occupational specialization using the newly developed index. Compared with Location Quotient(LQ), the advantages of the index is that the NOHI enables comparison between inter-regional and intra-regional concentration of employment possible at the same time. The results of the specialization analyses show that Seoul is specialized in management, book-keeping and office related occupations, whereas Busan in machine and material related occupations.

The purpose of this study are as follows. First, to analyze relative LQ index of the No. of game company, the No. of employee and the amount of revenue. Second, to analyze personal competence, resource competence, performance competence, network competence and environmental competence of regional game contents R&D. The results are as follows. The LQ index results of company are highest in seoul and Kyunggi area' And In case of except of seoul & kyunggi, the competence of R&D which is daekyung, dongnam, chungcheong are in order. In case of 5 game R&D competence, chungchung, seoul & kyunggi, honam region are in order. The core competence of chungchung region are ideal venture ecosystem among inter-supportive R&D research center, ETRI, university and company.
